Here’s the situation... I’ve been playing basketball for three years now and loving it, but lately, my left wrist has started acting up. πŸ˜• It’s an old injury from when I broke my arm back in the day, and it just flares up on me sometimes. Now, I can't even do pushups or shoot a jumper without feeling the pain. Any advice on how to fix this? πŸ™

Glucosamine sulfate just isn't doing the trick
and honestly, neither is my doctor πŸ˜‰

And honestly, maybe even glucosamine sulfate won't cut it, and frankly, your doctor might not have any answers either. That’s just how joint pain works: life sucks and then you die.

Sure, glucosamine sulfate is probably your best bet for joint issues! But I guess you should maybe try to avoid heavy lifting for a while, or at least protect them with a brace or something!πŸ‘

Stay on topicβ€”go get an X-ray for that ankle immediately. Seriously, if it's just one single joint acting up, there’s a massive chance you actually messed it up (like a dislocation). If that’s the case, you're looking at needing total rest and probably a heavy-duty cast. If you keep putting weight on it, you are only going to make the damage much worse. This isn't some "wear and tear" issue from old age since it's only one joint and you're probably only 16 or 17 years old.

Thanks, everyone... I'm just not sure what to make of this. It feels kind of silly to go to the doctor if it turns out to be nothing, but I don't know... when I'm just walking around, it doesn't even hurt. But the second I start doing pushups or lifting anything heavy, that pain kicks in. Still, I can't stay away from basketball. If I end up having to wear a brace, I'm totally screwed. I'll try to take it easy for a bit.

Thanks again... I think I'll give that glucosamine sulfate a shot and let you guys know how it goes.

Thanks!
