Never heard of it based on the title... but man, that cover art looks absolutely delicious.😵

I wasn't around for this one, but whoever decided to drop Grimes in here, I love you.

This is some beautiful "courtly" music; I really dig it.

That’s just the album title I suggested, not the whole thing.

Did someone accidentally leave out the full title, or is there some kind of limit—like only being allowed 10 emojis per post—that kept the entire name from fitting?

The whole album is led by Jordi Savall. If you haven't noticed, I'm totally hyping him up here! 🎉

Honestly, there isn't a single thing on this tour that hits the mark for me, except for Fontaines D.C. 👍

There's a character limit when you first set up a poll, but you can always go back and edit it once it's live! Is this looking better now?

Get everyone you know on board—friends, family, colleagues, whoever... just make sure they’re there to show some support for Hulet.

Listened to a few tracks here and there—take these takes with a grain of salt and maybe a dash of cilantro:

jackie greene - basically a masculine version of Sheryl Crow. Honestly, this stuff is giving me hot flashes, guys.

Sons of Kemet - the music holds up, but the spoken word is absolute garbage, and don't even get me started on the infantile concept. Since the tunes actually matter, it gets a pass, but Shabaka’s other band, The Comet, is way better. They play this modern take on Sun Ra-style cosmic jazz that's much more experimental and abstract than this crap. Plus, they aren't weighed down by all that hipster activism.

Lilihip - I was expecting synth-pop based on the cover art, but then I get hit with an accordion. Third track is decent. The album itself might not be great, but it's interesting enough to count. Plus, they're American. Someone suggest Alana Vitale soon. Don't be cowards.

Beck - Mellow Gold is the only Beck record I've actually sat through, and it's a brilliant deconstruction of folk clichés. This one? Just a total cliché. Total snooze fest.

fit - Is this just the American Aerosmith? 🤔

mizar - Vocals are ridiculous, but not quite ridiculous enough to earn a pass. 😁

The Comet is great too—I'm not sure if they beat the other guys, but since you brought them up, you've got my vote. 😉

Of course you think it's all garbage—just like how post-dark metal, ambient-experimental-electronic-dark-vaporwave, or even anarcho-proto-dark-psychobilly is all garbage to me.

Can you explain why deconstruction is such a big deal? Isn't building something from scratch way harder? Beck loves folk—he always has. He didn't tear it down; he just leveled it up.
