Jerry Flores74 said:Listen, silverviper6, there is no such thing as an 86-bit version. 😂

That is an x86 system, which means it is running on a 32-bit architecture. 🤣

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

The solution lies in your installation choice. If you select the x86 version, those old drivers from Windows XP will actually run without any issues. You won't even need to mess with Compatibility settings, and all your software should function exactly as expected.

I see there is quite a debate going on regarding the VIP internet sticks.
😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂
I am currently running Windows 7 64-bit on my laptop, and the stick works perfectly fine for me.

A quick tip if you are struggling: Right-click > Compatibility > Run this program in compatibility mode for: Windows XP Service Pack 2

Everything functions normally on my end after doing that.

Also, just a heads up: if you are using Daemon Tools on Windows 7, make sure you download the specific version designed for it.

What makes it so special? 😕 I mean, for at least 9 months now, every single new Daemon Tools release has supported Windows 7 right out of the gate, just like any other OS.

Listen, mister nobody, spare me the unnecessary whining,

it’s not like we didn't already know this stick works on 64-bit systems. You clearly don't even realize that 86-bit isn't a thing, so I guess we're both equally clueless here, one-to-one. 👍

driftingnomad68 As requested:
How can you call it special? For at least nine months now, every new Daemon Tools release has supported Windows 7 in the exact same version that supports everything else.

☕ ☕ ☕ ☕ ☕
I am referring specifically to Windows 7 x86!!!!

It seems we are at an impasse. You act as if you didn't realize a USB stick works on 64-bit systems, while I am sitting here knowing that 86-bit architecture doesn't even exist. We are even now.👍

The term x86, or 86-bit, is actually an original Russian version translated into English that my grandmother sent me. In reality, it refers to 23-bit on Windows XP.
The OS has no "holes" or errors. It supports all drivers, whether they were designed for Windows XP or Windows 2000.

On a side note: I have three Windows 7 licenses that I received directly from Microsoft. I am selling them for $333 each.

Fine, I’ll give an original Russian version of Windows 7 the benefit of the doubt. 👍
I mean, if it was put together with a bottle of vodka within arm's reach, there shouldn't be any glitches, right? 😉

Anyway, thanks for the licenses, but I’ll just "acquire" whatever software I need myself. Over the years, I've become quite the expert at it. 👍

The VIP USB drive works totally fine without needing any right-click tweaks or compatibility fixes on x64. I guess I used it all summer while I was down in Miami.

That screenshot was so tiny I could barely make out what was going on,

I’ve actually got another old laptop sitting here with a Celeron 1.60 and 768MB of RAM running Windows 7 Ultimate—it’s basically stripped down without Aero enabled. I mostly just use it to watch TV, so performance isn't exactly my top priority 👍

And honestly, there’s plenty of free RAM available because I don't run any bloated antivirus software, heavy browsers, or media players in the background...
I have no idea how it would even manage...
It's not just about the OS eating up the RAM, but why on earth did you post that specific image?

Look, you have to consider that there are probably older models that look identical from the outside but are functionally different under the hood—models that just won't work. Am I right? You’ve got entire lines of Huawei devices with various model numbers, or even ZTE units like the K3656 or K3756... they aren't all the same thing.👍

Man, I honestly can't believe my eyes right now, I'm just sitting here staring at this screen in total disbelief... 😂

Alright, I guess it’s my turn to brag a little:

😂

It wasn't actually sitting at 100% utilization, either—that was just a momentary spike...
I'm only looking at digital TV signals here, so obviously, there's absolutely no reason to bother with this leftover RAM...

Look, you’re dealing with a weaker processor and even less RAM than before, so you clearly missed the point here 👍

Besides, if you're so obsessed with file types, you could just save it as a .jpg for all I care—you don't strictly need the .png extension 😉

Look, I’ve been running this configuration for quite a while now. It’s significantly more stable and much faster than Windows XP, so there is absolutely no way I'm going back... 😁

Look at this setup... an i7, quad-core, 8GB of RAM (honestly, what's the point?), plus 3 gigs of extra RAM;

I’m basically the eighth wonder of the world because I can pull off running Windows 7 Ultimate on a single-core Celeron with a measly 768MB of RAM 😂🤣

Also, we need to talk about which specific sea we're talking about here. I mean, not every ocean is created equal. 😁

You guys all think you're so cool... my rig from a local scrap metal company cost me less than a grand without any peripherals, and I'm getting 4.5 🙂

I was curious—how exactly are you organizing those programs on your desktop? Is that a dedicated piece of software, a widget, or perhaps some other utility?
