The big shots are pulling strings behind the scenes and doing whatever they damn well please....

Honestly, screw that whole crowd and that corrupt hack Mayor Miller—he’s got his hands deep in this too, though he's mostly just riding the coattails of that untouchable prick Mamić.

Quite frankly, I’m holding out hope that those missing Black Army guys will turn up.

But personally? I can't stand the ocean, the rocky terrain out in the sticks, or dealing with 20-degree weather in December. If a place had this exact same vibe but was located further inland, it would be perfect for me.

.... man, I seriously can't wait for the derby in the second half of the season so you guys can see what a real circus looks like...
you all just got lucky because those little tourist spots on the waterfront keep things moving.
the rest of the winter in Miami is a total drag. For more than a week at a time, there's absolutely nothing to do. You could count the people hanging out on the boardwalk on one hand.

Found him. Turns out it was nothing—his phone was just dead and he didn't check in for a few hours.

The rest of winter in Miami is honestly pretty rough—you can't go anywhere. On the boardwalk, you can count the people on one hand.

The derby is at the end of March (3/22)🙂

Roughly 8,000 people showed up for this one. About 3,000 of them were the usual Wildcats plus over 400 from the Black Army—who claim they’re fans of Real Madrid, but let’s be real, they’re just there to hate on the Blue crowd... anyway, the second leg of the US Open Cup quarterfinals went down in Miami

🤣

What a joke!

I’ve never quite wrapped my head around why you guys root for the Blue side when everyone seems to be decked out in black.

Under the laws preventing disorder at sporting events, penalties for this kind of behavior range from $5,000 to $8.25, or even 30 to 60 days in jail. It’s likely those fans were detained and then cut a deal to get a fine lower than the legal minimum.

Smells like they just picked them up for no reason and threatened them: either go to jail or confess and take a one-year ban instead.

That Mislin article is absolute garbage. This guy is out here acting like an expert on stuff he clearly doesn't get, taking half-baked info, making some wild assumptions, and then dumping it all into this pathetic excuse for journalism.
And honestly, whether they admit it or not, who cares? At the end of the day, it just boils goes down to whether you sign the paper or you don't. They’ve got footage of the whole group from seven different angles—not that they even need it. All they need is one "witness," and finding a witness isn't hard when people have seen this crap happen with their own eyes a dozen times over...

Ten people get busted for things that 8,000 other people are screaming about in the streets. Another 20 get hit because they had a 0.63 instead of <0,5. One guy gets taken out just for "masking." Then you’ve got this hack writing a whole piece about confessions and "minimal" penalties, while actual people are getting slapped with year-long bans, $333 and someone's going to jail over some "street drama"🤣🤣

Personally, I find myself somewhat apprehensive regarding Baukov's proposed Nonprofit Act, and I suspect that is precisely what is happening here... It seems Ed Koch is merely buying some breathing room while Bauk works on the legislation. If this act passes in its current form, I suppose it will finally give us a way to put Jerry Maguire in his place. It would essentially become his association, and everyone else would simply have to fall in line with his organization or just keep barking at the moon, I guess.

The guy running Real Madrid is looking at Article 13, Section 1 of the new Nonprofit Act that Congress hasn't even passed yet. It says this:

"An association's assembly consists of its members or representatives elected according to the Bylaws. If certain membership categories are defined by the Bylaws, they can specify that only specific categories make up the assembly or hold voting rights at meetings."

This could let Jerry Maguire strip certain groups within the club of their voting power through simple bylaw changes, essentially freezing the status quo.

Looks like the fix is already in. 😠

They’re gonna try to run the show with their little circus act again, but they better remember that selection processes have to follow the Nonprofit Act... if they don't, we'll happily stay members for the next decade just so we can sue them for treating people unequally.

I'm not taking orders from some loser whose wife is basically running the whole board behind the scenes while I've been a loyal member for years. ☕

But does that mean we should just throw in the towel and stop caring about everything entirely?
