I'm posting this on the Bad Boys thread, not the general one, just so I don't come off as provocative. But honestly, I have no idea what is happening with the Black and Gold Army when it comes to the cheering.

We did what we could, considering the harassment, the bans, and I guess all the other ways they try to fight against us. To me, it was total madness during the first half, and it's a shame that energy didn't carry over to the second half when more people were there, especially given how much the police were stopping people at the entrance.

But the North Stand at the Rose Bowl today and even ten years ago—those are two different worlds. That intense energy from back in the day is gone. In terms of pure support, maybe it's zero; the numbers were great and the stands were full, but I didn't hear a single song that made the stands shake. Even when things were messy with the ownership, you just didn't feel that roar from the crowd or that pressure meant to make the management sweat. It's a shame, because this derby used to be called the European derby, though the home team always carried the burden of living up to that reputation. In my opinion, the home side completely failed yesterday regarding the atmosphere.

I blame the league, mostly. I guess nobody can pull off six derbies in ten months with the same level of intensity. On the other hand, I find it hard to understand why they repeatedly focused their chants exclusively against the Bad Boys and the other local club. Why push for a massive choreo across the whole stand, only to end up stuck in a group that can't even turn around because of the arrests, bans, and persecution dictated by those organizations? Once or twice is fine, but I think there has to be a limit to good taste, especially since we were all marching toward the stadium together just four months ago. From what I heard, nearly 50 of our guys were detained, and I don't really have words for that.

Why push for some massive, symbolic choreo across the whole stand when you end up being targeted by groups that can't even turn around because of jail time, bans, and persecution pushed by these organizations? Once or twice, fine. But there has to be a line for good taste, especially since we were all marching toward the stadium together just four months ago. From what I hear, our number of people detained is close to 50. I'm speechless.

The truce is over. It's the standard fan repertoire—we aren't a bunch of choir boys, for god's sake.

Regarding the atmosphere, the coordination between the northeast and northwest sections is missing. There's just one tiny speaker sitting on the edge of the northwest corner. That doesn't motivate anyone. You have the Black and Gold Army cheering, and then everyone else in the north is just scattered about. Honestly, people are just fed up with this nonsense that gets thrown at us constantly, both inside and outside the stadium.

"They love the corrupt politicians"—that's clearly who the message is aimed at. From the organizers and the refs, to almost the entire major league, right down to your former allies in the cages.

I’m just going to lay out my thoughts and some things I’ve observed. Maybe I’ll get some things wrong, but honestly, if someone takes offense, I don't really care much. 🙂
I know quite a few die-hard fans, especially the younger crowd around 15 to 17. These kids show up to the games, sure, but their older peers have told me they barely make any noise at all—just a little murmur here and there. For them, the only thing that matters is making sure Liverpool FC stays ahead of the Yankees. We have these "wannabe" guys who care more about being "better" than the rivals than actually supporting the team, and they couldn't care less about what happens to the group's reputation. Their whole world revolves around posting 500 photos on social media of the Bad Boys, or bashing the opposition, while barely showing up to a single game all season. In my opinion, these are the main people responsible for breaking truces and causing drama. And the second things actually get heavy and it's time to step up, you can't find a single one of them anywhere.

For them, the whole point is just blowing a trumpet and annoying everyone for the entire game. 🙈
I know tons of people who only show up to matches so they can smoke outside... But hey, it is what it is, right?

From the organizers and the refs, to pretty much the entire major league down to your former cage fighters.

Still, all this mutual insults could have been avoided. Regardless of the broken truce, we all still have much more important issues to deal with.
We could have been loud against the mafia, but unfortunately, that didn't happen...

As for those "comrades," how many of those 40 "poor souls" actually had anything to do with the games? Maybe five or six at most. There were plenty of folks there who were 60+ with their kids...

And insulting them from our side is just unnecessary. They're completely irrelevant, and honestly, being ignored usually stings the most.

We have those same kinds of quasi-Bad Boys among us, where the only goal is being "ahead" of the rival group, while they couldn't care less about the actual reputation of the crew. As long as they can post 500 photos on social media of the Bad Boys, or the Yankees, or Liverpool FC, and set every single status to "I hate the Yankees"... then they've done their job, even if they barely show up to a game all season. In my view, these people are the main reason why any sort of peace gets broken in the first place. And when things actually get heavy and you need someone to step up and fight... they’re nowhere to be found...

stop talking nonsense

I haven't really spilled the beans on which team I root for yet. Probably won't either... But man, it actually hurts seeing how fast we threw away that peace treaty. Seeing that mutual respect and solidarity back when the Black and Gold Army was walking through the streets of Chicago gave you real hope for better sports and a healthier American society. It sucks that it's gone now... we just gave up way too easily and let the mob keep pulling the strings on the crowds and the media just to suit themselves.

Desert weeds always grow, while spring flowers bloom and fade.
There's never a shortage of the bad stuff, but the good things? They just come and go. Such a shame, because we could have held onto this much longer...

Looking at this photo from after the game, I’m just thinking about the sheer level of grit you guys have. I'll never forget how we left the Rose Bowl after that match between Liverpool FC and Pittsburgh—everyone filing out one by one, posing for photos, getting filmed, basically being put through a gauntlet. It was right on the edge of people storming the buses. Honestly, you just take the hits and, despite everything, you keep pushing forward and protecting what you believe in.

RESPECT TO YOU ALL.

The worst part is how much of a joke this whole situation at our stadium has become.

Away games have actually become a welcome break from the harassment we deal with at Yankee Stadium, so honestly, heading to a home game feels more daunting than traveling today. I felt a huge sense of relief when I realized we’re away for three games straight. Home matches have just become way too difficult to deal with.

It's over—the guys were incredible, especially Mary and Simic. And Simic's line about "We all know how dictators end up"... damn, respect.

When people start talking about truces or ceasefires, my personal take is that we gave up on our shared goals way too fast. I’m not going to get into the weeds of the specific reasons why, but it feels like we acted as if those minor grievances were the only things actually standing in our way..

Look, I’m posting this on the BBB thread instead of the general news one just so I don't get flagged for baiting, but honestly, I have zero clue what’s actually happening with Torcida regarding the chanting and the vibe.

We did what we could, alright? Given the constant harassment, the bans, and whatever other nonsense they’re cooking up to suppress us, we did our part. To me, the energy during the first half was absolute madness, and it’s a damn shame that feeling didn't carry over to the second half—especially since the numbers were even bigger then, though the cops were busy bottlenecking everyone at the entrance.

But let’s be real: the North Stand at the stadium today compared to ten years ago? Those are two completely different worlds. That raw, unhinged energy from back when people would scream "I'm a Dalmatian through and through..." is just gone. From a supporter standpoint, it’s a total zero. Sure, the turnout was great, the stands were packed, but I didn't hear a single anthem that actually shook the place or made the stands rattle. Even back when all that bullshit with Mamić was going down, you didn't feel that massive roar from the crowd, that intense pressure meant to make Mamić himself lose his mind. It’s such a waste, because this derby used to legitimately earn the title of the "Euro Derby." Usually, the home team carries the weight of delivering that atmosphere, but yesterday, if you ask me, the home side totally failed on the supporter front.

???!!! Where are you even coming from and how old are you? You're talking pure nonsense here. Honestly, how am I supposed to wrap my head around your shallow mindset? Do you seriously think people in Miami are stupid and don't understand how this whole league/player circus works? Yeah, go ahead, lecture me with that "oh, you should support your club no matter what, roar your lungs out, bleed for the colors, blah blah blah..." crap. Trust me, if everything worked the way you wish it did—if it were actually a fair league with equal rules—then the points gap in the standings probably wouldn't even matter. But unfortunately, that’s just not the reality we're living in.

Look, man, I don't think any of us truly grasp the sheer amount of potential sitting within a unified supporter movement here in America. There were plenty of people who couldn't care less about soccer, yet they were absolutely floored when we stood together in the east stands. The comments online were saying they felt the same kind of rush people feel during a massive historical uprising. In an atmosphere as stagnant as the one currently rotting in this country, a collective burst of positive energy like that would be an absolute bombshell, and we could definitely get a lot done with it.

BUT, we also have to face reality: we fans are incredibly hypocritical. That goes for me first, you second, and everyone else down the line. It’s probably better if we don't kid ourselves and just stop wasting our breath getting worked up over nothing.

Four searches, two recordings. Honestly, this is becoming the new normal, whether we're playing at home or on the road.

Can we please just stop with all this endless ticking, counting down, and playing games? This stinking snake isn't going anywhere from Dinamo as long as he's drawing breath... and honestly, what happens after that? Who knows. If the club doesn't get privatized soon, it’s going to be a total disaster, and the whole fan movement in America will probably vanish within ten years. We're basically nothing right now. We have this incredible supporter mentality, but we clearly lack any common sense. Then again, I guess it's not that surprising, considering we're Americans... damn it, we really blew it.
