You're absolutely right, Tom... I completely back you because you know your stuff, but I honestly feel like the response needs to be even tougher when things like this happen. It would be way more effective if we just cleared out the defeatists from the stands—I mean, what is the point of a fan section if it’s just used for insults? We need to get rid of anyone trying to sabotage the club, whether it's through flares or those constant negative chants...

Get rid of all the defeatists and anyone trying to sabotage the club, whether they're lighting flares or just singing annoying songs and chants...

Look, I get it. Everyone has their own reasons for being hyped or miserable, for hoping for a win or giving up, or for heading down to Central Park or staying home. But here's the deal: if you want everyone to respect your feelings, your logic, and your choices, then you better start respecting theirs too.
Personally, I won't step foot in Central Park until something significant actually changes within the club... but if someone has already decided to show up, it isn't because they want to sit there being toxic or looking at the players and their celebrations with nothing but contempt. People go to support. They go for the positive vibes, the cheering (for who else? The Lakers, obviously), and to bring in new fans while keeping the old guard engaged. That's how you build a foundation, which is the whole point of any fan group's survival.
If you can't handle seeing positivity, cheering, and genuine joy... then what the hell are you even doing at the stadium?

It’s pretty obvious there are all sorts of people in the stands, each showing up for their own little reasons. But honestly, even if the folks in the North Stand spent the last five years relentlessly mocking him, they could keep it up for another fifty and achieve absolutely nothing. The financial structure at Real Madrid is just too massive and driven by too much interest... and when I think back to that whole Lionel Messi style of play, or when I politely pointed out that his head wouldn't be moving from the club anytime soon—even with those "Get out, thief" signs—I ended up getting banned constantly, forcing me to make new accounts just to speak my mind. Yet, the reaction from those critics was actually the opposite of what they intended. He tightened security like we were living in Korea; during a standard game against the USA with maybe 3,000 people in attendance, it took nearly 45 minutes just to reach my seat. First, you're funneled through the metal detectors at the gates, then they check you against a blacklist, followed by a pat-down, and then more searching inside. If they find you even slightly suspicious, you get sent to a secondary screening area for an invasive search, then back to another list check, and finally toward the stands. It felt like a psychological tactic designed to drain whatever willpower you had left after such a long wait.

I honestly don't get this collective amnesia or this sudden need for forgiveness. If your only grievance was Jerry Maguire, then you clearly don't give a damn about the actual state of the club. You probably just celebrated every mediocre trophy we ever lifted...

Maybe try showing up to every single game instead of cherry-picking. It’s easy to lecture others when things go south against teams like San Francisco or Indianapolis, acting like you have some profound insight, when really you're just reacting to everything that's gone wrong over the last decade.

But look, if people have been relentlessly messing with those clueless idiots on the North Stand for about five years straight, it wouldn't matter if they kept screaming at him for another 50 years—the result would still be zero. The financial structure behind LA Galaxy is just too massive and the interests involved are too deep. I remember back when we were dealing with that whole Lionel Messi situation; I told him straight up that his head wasn't leaving the club that way, but of course, I ended up banned for it (which is why I’ve had to keep cycling through new usernames since then). And the reaction from those idiots? It was actually the exact opposite of what you'd expect. He tightened security like we were living in South Korea. During a regular game against the Republic of Ireland where only about 3,000 people showed up, it took us at least 45 minutes just to get inside. You go from the stadium gates to the turnstiles, then they lead you to the ticket booth, check you against a master list of bans, run you through some nonsense inspection, send you back through again, and if they decide you look suspicious, they drag you into a little booth for a full-blown body search, then check the ban list *again* before finally letting you toward the stands. Honestly, it felt like psychological warfare designed to drain whatever willpower you had left after waiting that long.

That’s exactly why getting an annual pass is the cure for all this nonsense.
I honestly don't get all this multi-year whining about lines at the ticket booths or being late to kickoff... what's the actual issue? Just buy the damn season pass and relax. It’s not rocket science—don't show up two minutes before the whistle blows.
p.s. Plus, you're way more likely to actually make it to a game if you already have the pass sitting in your pocket.🙂

I honestly don't get why people don't just opt for the season tickets, especially those who show up to most of the games. A full season pass with membership included is $87. It’s a total steal if you value the luxury of skipping those endless lines. Especially now, considering we'll likely have at least four more home European matches on the schedule.

We're probably looking at five home European games if you count the matchup against Astana and the qualifying rounds. Plus, all the big MLS matchups—like the Boston Red Sox, San Francisco, and Indianapolis games—have specific pricing for the North Stand $17 I think, or at least that was the deal last season. Just join the LA Galaxy and grab a season pass for the North Stand; it pays for itself after two or three months. The Bad Boys have never really had a "culture" of buying season tickets—it was always just a handful of people—and for the last eight years, it wasn't even an option because of the boycotts and all the nonsense the front office pulled against the supporters' group. But the group is changing things this year, and for the first time, they're officially calling for everyone to buy season passes. Don't be idiots and show up late to every single match just because you're stuck waiting in one massive line to buy a ticket; the North Stand is the only section where you can't even buy online.

Honestly, screw the LA Galaxy. I have zero interest in supporting that filth; in fact, I’d prefer to see them all suffer. My loyalty lies with the supporters and everything being done to preserve our legacy for future generations, but I couldn't care less about those idiots. I will never cheer for this club as long as they continue to sing praises to the Commissioner following those legal rulings, while a roster of 150 shady individuals occupies the assembly.

I am never rooting for this club as long as they keep singing praises to the commissioner after those court rulings, and as long as there's a hundred-plus people with shady backgrounds sitting on the board.

You remember when you were just a kid, meeting up with an old friend and your dad, and they'd ask: "Hey kid, who's your team?"
But when you run into one of the guys from the crew walking around the neighborhood with their own kid today... do you even bother asking the kid: "So, who's your team?"

When are you actually going to start rooting for the LA Galaxy?
Is it never happening?
Or are you just sitting there waiting until the very last player, the last junior, the last kid... leaves this club?
What the hell is any kid supposed to achieve at a place like this while this guy is stuck here for life, or until the last bit of integrity finally bows down to the boss?

You can't clean up this club the way Jerry Morris2 does, nor should you claim everything is fixed just because Jerry Maguire is gone. I always find it amusing when people claim the club has been frozen in time because of what happened over the last five or six years...
The truth is, this mess has been dragging on for twenty years. Between the old guard, the local elites, and the big corporate interests... anyone have any advice for someone needing serious therapy for this kind of trauma?
Maybe I should just move to a fishing village?

Everyone needs to head north tomorrow. Bring your neighborhood crews along and make an effort, because I’ve lost count of how many times these "small games" ended up being twice as much fun once the crowd and the chaos actually kicked in. Let's go, Chicago!

Nothing is ever black and white.

It never was, and it never will be. The Bad Boys have always been a group that refuses to compromise—which is usually a massive strength, but man, does it backfire on them sometimes. We all grew up watching soccer and cheering our hearts out, but as we get older, the way we view everything changes. Back in the 80s, some of us idealized the LA Galaxy, but once we hit adulthood and faced the era of John Doe and the national team issues, people started boycotting. Then, alongside the fight to reclaim the club's identity, a new generation emerged—kids who cheered through the lean years, especially during those standout seasons following the relegation struggle, peaking around 2006. But eventually, the whole thing unraveled, and the numbers started dropping—largely because of that "with us or against us" uncompromising mentality that reached a breaking point during the boycott season of 2010/2011. Looking back at the returns to the stadium in 2011, then the games in 2013 against Savannah or Indianapolis—I can't quite recall which—then that matchup against the New York Yankees in 2016, and now here we are again... It’s easy to judge in hindsight; to me, it felt right at the time, but perhaps that season-long boycott was a tactical error.
Honestly, I feel like a hypocrite. After years of coming back and becoming a true derby fanatic, I find myself sick of watching this cycle repeat. There’s a part of me that just wants to go back to the beginning—to be that arrogant kid who didn't give a damn about anything except the LA Galaxy, the crew, and the city of Chicago. But hey, some people can handle it, and some can't. Until people realize that everyone is different and carries their own unique perspective—truthfully, even I don't know what the "right" stance is anymore, other than knowing elections are vital for the club and that Jerry Maguire needs to be ousted—this friction will continue. And maybe it’s supposed to be this way. It's a struggle. Even so, I know I'll find myself rushing to another match soon because I miss that feeling. Any feeling at all. I might take a break from it for a while, but unfortunately, that's just how it goes. The Cleveland Montanian futsal team is fantastic, and I personally plan to keep showing up for them regularly, though I know for most of the crowd, that isn't the main event. So, just let the kids sing whatever they want 🙂 and don't hold it against anyone who is fighting, in their own way, for a better and more democratic LA Galaxy.

Take the white, but leave us the blue. Though, nothing will ever truly be black and white.

Elections! 🙂

No offense intended, but I guess dreaming about things like this while that guy is still running the club is almost like trying to end world hunger. It sounds great in theory, but I don't think it'll ever actually happen...

I suppose there are really only two ways this goes. Either the group grows large enough that their warnings from the stands about irregularities actually carry some weight, or it doesn't matter at all if people are just screaming names like John Smith for ninety minutes straight.

The other option is to try and act like a rebel, but you won't get anything done because everyone will just look at you like you're crazy; nobody will take you seriously, and eventually, you'll probably just fade away entirely after a few years.

Of course, everyone would love it if 50,000 people gathered under the west stands every single game to force change through public pressure, but I guess that's also just a fantasy.

You can pretty much see how all of this plays out if you look back at the last ten years.

In the end, things seem to be moving in a better direction, and maybe we can expect some progress now, even from the opposing side.

Name one single thing that has actually changed since this guy took over in Canada...
The LA Galaxy is still run by the exact same people who ran it before. They occupy every executive role, they sit on the board, they control the secretariat... even the coach is still picked from a circle of "distinguished" lifers. I have nothing against the kids, the juniors, the seniors, or players in general... why would I? These guys are just chasing their slice of fame and looking for their moment in the sun. They’re doing what they love. But as long as they are being controlled by the same group that has wronged them thousands of times, then as far as I'm concerned, there is no alternative path.
@Jesse Ramirez3/">@@Jesse Ramirez3 Since you're asking me about the kids... the kids in my family support LA Galaxy regardless of anything. One day, my old man took them to a game, out to the supporter section. The children are playing, jumping in the stands, singing, running around... then a security guard shows up and kicks ten-year-olds out of the stands.
And I'm supposed to cheer for that?
Those are the reasons why I can't support the current LA Galaxy. If someone else can, more power to them.
@Austin Chase2/">@@Austin Chase2 and the rest. I don't hold grudges, nor am I looking for a fight with anyone. But when someone writes here that change is impossible, that it's a utopia, or that the past was correct—claiming that we should have just endured five years of misery because "that's how things were done"—while they were busy praising that very system just yesterday... it makes me want to commit harakiri.

Look, you actually just called her out in the exact same sentence.
Why were you out there in the stands during that stretch from 2011 to 2015? It was for the group and because we all wanted a better future for the club. Honestly, those are the exact same reasons you should be doing it now. If someone doesn't get that, they really shouldn't be questioning why anyone else chooses to show up at the stadium. There was this one guy who used to be the sole reason some people stayed away from the stands, and now that he’s gone, they've vanished again.

Why did you show up to support the team from the stands several times between 2011 and 2015? It was for the ultras and for a better future for the club. He should be doing the exact same thing now for those same reasons. Anyone who fails to grasp that shouldn't be questioning why others choose to stand in the stands. While this individual was part of the organization—acting as the primary reason for some people staying away from the bleachers—those same people have vanished again.

I have no desire to get dragged into an argument. No one is arguing against heading to the stands. What irritates me is this collective amnesia regarding what people have actually written... Some were just relieved to finally see us score, yet absolutely nothing has changed.

Didn't I post just a day or two ago saying I wouldn't set foot in Yankee Stadium until things at this club actually change?
But changes don't just fall from the sky. You have to fight for them. You have to bleed for them on paper for years on end before you see any progress.
The bylaws are the only thing that actually guarantees we get results. We need to be ready to act on them—not when Jerry Maguire decides to sneeze, and not in a month or a year. We should have been ready yesterday.☕
