Since we’re already talking about the Jewish community, I can't help but wonder why the Boys still cling to his absolutely nonsensical approach to being a supporter.
At every single game, the only thing that ever seems to change is the headcount; the stands always look exactly the same, featuring the same tired couple of banners, and that's really it.
This whole trendy, cookie-cutter way of supporting a team is just plain boring, and honestly, a little more originality or freedom when it comes to decorating the stands wouldn't hurt—provided, of course, there's some sort of aesthetic standard so that just any random piece of junk isn't hanging off the railings. During those bigger matchups, you get fans traveling in from all over the place, and seeing their unique colors would really help brighten up the look of such an ugly stand and fill in those massive gaps that only serve to make the whole scene look even worse.

This trendy, superficial idea of what fandom should be is frankly quite tedious. A little more originality and some freedom in how the stands are decorated wouldn't hurt—provided, of course, there is at least some aesthetic standard so that just any random piece of junk isn't hanging off the fence. During the bigger games, there is a significant crowd of people traveling from all over, and their presence could really elevate the look of those otherwise dreary stands and fill in the massive gaps that only serve to make the whole scene look even worse.

The stands look ugly? Are you out of your mind? You can't expect the people traveling from out of town to show up to every single game; they can't just drop in twice a year and hang a banner alongside everyone else.

God, if the Bad Boys have such a rough crowd in the bleachers, what does that say about everyone else?

Seriously though, Thursday was surprisingly solid. It feels like things are finally starting to turn around.

No, you really can't. 😛 It’s just one of those things where, no matter how much you try to argue the logic or dive into the granular details of why things should work differently, some people simply refuse to see the reality right in front of them.

Maybe he just phrased it poorly.
He probably meant the stands should be packed with banners like they used to be back when there were actually plenty of them.
That’s likely what he was getting at: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...o_BBB_2008.jpg

I suspect this is what he was getting at: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...o_BBB_2008.jpg

That’s possible, though we all know exactly where those old banners ended up—gathering dust in some corner, never to grace the stands again.

To section looks visually better than it has in years—I honestly can't remember the last time the North Stand looked this sharp. Those flags on the first railing are a total win, and since all the banners are using the same color scheme, it actually looks cohesive—something we definitely didn't see back in the day. People love to complain that the North Stand isn't great for atmosphere or that it looks ugly, but... it has massive potential to be the best-looking spot in the stadium precisely because of those two railings. When you coordinate them right, it looks incredible.

John Campbell27 said:I honestly think the current look of the stadium and how the stands are laid out is all thanks to the top brass of the Republican Party. It seems like after May 13th, they realized just how much chaos can stir up from the Bleachers at Central Park—so they decided it was probably safer to get rid of those old standing sections in the North and East stands, just so their leadership doesn't face the same kind of fallout. You could build a truly beautiful stadium right where this one stands, but I doubt there will be any political will for it, since that land is just too valuable for development. I’m actually a little worried that in maybe ten years, our club might end up playing somewhere else entirely... like we'll be forced out of our own home.

And even if the stadium were torn down, you couldn't build anything there except for some sort of school gym or athletic facility. Based on the deed from the local Archdiocese—which is still legally binding—the land donated for the stadium can only be used for those specific purposes.
The original deed was actually part of an exhibit about Central Park and its surrounding neighborhoods at the Museum of the City of New York.

Personally, I don't find these two versions of the Real Madrid logo any more visually appealing than the old one...
The font feels too heavy; it sticks out way too much.
I much prefer this layout:http://www.nogometplus.net/wp-conten..._b-688x460.jpg

It works better when the blue dominates.
The Bleachers are mostly black and blue anyway, so it fits the vibe.

Robert Cooper60, I'm right there with you. Honestly, we haven't seen any real strength in the fences since we got back up North (after that whole Juventus stint), and even then, nothing beats actual bans and freedoms. Seeing the Real Madrid crowd lately just feels totally lame—it looks like they’re just trying to fill up space with some random rags or whatever.

The vibe was great after the kickoff—just pure synergy between the fans and the whole stadium. Not a single insult or flare on the pitch, just Real Madrid dominating those loud Turk supporters. We hit a bit of a snag in the second half, though we definitely had enough chances to bury them completely. Sometimes you have to extend a hand even when you've got nothing left to give; maybe someone else really needs it to get back on their feet. Best, ... Well, here I am... 😁

Man, what a vibe. Total chill atmosphere after the kickoff. The fans were perfectly in sync with the whole stadium—not a single insult or flare tossed onto the pitch., Real Madrid just absolutely ran circles around them. Even those loud Turk guys down in the south section couldn't keep up. Things got a little messy mid-way through the second half, though, even if we had plenty of chances to bury them deeper. Sometimes you have to extend a hand to others even when yours is empty; maybe someone out there really needs it just to stand back up. Cheers. Just my two cents... 😁

Honestly, it surprises me.
The rest of the country thought it was going to go the complete opposite way.🤦
Strange city, strange people.

We’ve already sent 500 tickets over to Washington, D.C., but the rest are going to be sold in Miami—though, if they don't clear out, we'll just ship whatever's left back down to Miami. Either way, we've got enough tickets to fill the whole stadium
