Hey guys! Just dropping in like a total stranger here. I haven't been an active part of this community in years... but back around 2010, I used to hang out on the East Coast side of things all the time.
But man, as a die-hard Los Angeles FC fan, it absolutely kills me watching everything stall out... and honestly? It feels like it's never going to get better. It’s like you guys have just collectively given up because you’ve already exhausted every single option on the table.
At the end of the day, everyone seems to agree—this isn't the LAFC we grew up with, the one our dads and granddads lived and breathed. So, wouldn't it be time to start something fresh? Like, beyond just the futsal scene, why not establish a brand new LAFC... a club we actually follow through every corner of the US? There are already two clubs over in the States founded entirely by hardcore fans, and I truly believe that’s where the future of soccer lies in Europe and beyond... while the current big-name clubs get run by billionaires and shady owners through FIFA and UEFA, a whole new league could rise from places where there isn't massive money involved, just pure, unadulterated love for the game...
But hey, that’s a long way off, so don't lose any sleep over it right now. What we really need to do is just build a new club—a new/old LAFC—and grab a cold beer at the pitch while watching OUR team play.
I know, I know, you're all probably gonna laugh your heads off at me, but seriously—do you honestly think this version of LAFC will ever actually give us "one member, one vote" power? Google
