The sign-up bonus is useless for anyone living in the US. I haven't even heard of anyone being able to open an account here.

I didn't quite catch what the rules say regarding the exclusions for the US and other countries. So, I guess that means the bonus doesn't apply to me. Okay, thanks for clarifying. 😁
I haven't actually gone ahead and set up my profile yet.
Also, I was wondering... is it actually worth playing with them?
And how does the live betting work? Like, when is the best time to place a bet? Is it better near the end of the game, and if so, how much before the finish? I guess I'm curious about how the odds tend to shift then.
Oh, and what's the deal with deposits and withdrawals?
🤷

If you’re just starting out—and clearly, you are—maybe stick to a local sportsbook like DraftKings or FanDuel for now. You can just swing by a physical location to deposit some cash and get a feel for live betting—where the odds shift every single second—but the real question is, do you actually have the nerve to decide when to strike?

Once you aren't a total novice, then you can look into those offshore sites—and maybe set up a PayPal account once you understand how this all works—to move your money wherever you damn well please.

I was checking out their selection, but honestly, it’s pretty slim... For now, I’ve just been playing the lottery and trying to figure out if there's some kind of pattern or system to follow. I guess I have these little streaks where things go my way, but then I just hit a wall or lose a bit of what I made...

I don't have the time to go digging through everything right now...

Basically, the conversation was about BetMGM and the idea of opening a second account—someone chimed in saying they already have multiple accounts set up and everything works just fine.

So, I’ve been chewing on that a bit—personally, I think the way you bet and how much you actually win matters a lot here.🤷 For someone who's just breaking even or maybe seeing some small wins, I get why having extra accounts wouldn't really trigger any red flags for them.

But if you're someone who managed to take a massive chunk of their money just once in a month using an extremely specific betting pattern—one that's honestly pretty easy to spot because it stands out so much... I think they'll go out of their way to shut you down by any means necessary just to stop you from taking another cent.

The thing that worries me most isn't even the possibility of them closing that second account, it's the potential legal fallout (😕). In this day and age, anything is possible—they could even report me for identity theft (if they can do that over some stupid Facebook account, why not this?), God knows which US court would handle it or what the process looks like, but man, if there's even a tiny chance things could go south... it probably will.🙂

I just wouldn't want to mess around with these big corporate types, because once they dig their heels in...😢

If you’ve already got a system that consistently pulls in profit—and a healthy amount at that—but online sportsbooks keep capping your action, why wouldn't you just move over to physical betting shops in the States? You can play your hands without any fear of being limited. 🤷

There are no bonuses for America just yet, though word on the street is they'll arrive once we officially join the EU...

James Taylor3 said:If you truly have a system that consistently generates significant profit—as much as you claim—and online bookmakers are limiting your stakes, why not simply switch to physical betting shops here in the States where you won't have to worry about being capped? 🤷

Alternatively, if such a system actually exists, perhaps you could be so kind as to share it with us mere mortals. :P

Hey there!

I had a quick question about thelotter.com

Basically—is it actually legal?

Like, is it okay to play and deposit if you're living here in the States? (I was thinking about using PayPal)

And would there be any massive headaches with getting paid if I actually hit the jackpot?

(You know, taxes and stuff like that)

thanks!

I’ve said this at least 48 times now—if you check a few posts back, specifically post # 2286, you'll see it—you really just need to do a little reading before jumping in with questions.

New members at DraftKings

DraftKings $20 free bet

To celebrate The Super Bowl, just put down a $20 pre-match bet with DraftKings when you sign up and you'll snag a $20 free bet during the game.

...I was scrolling through some threads about this—and yeah, it definitely feels like a total gray area, maybe even illegal
if you're placing bets while living here in the States,

but I guess if you've got an account at an overseas bank, it shouldn't really be an issue

(since the money isn't going straight to some foreign lottery site, but rather through an agent... or maybe not?

the laws are just super vague...

The big question is how things will shake out once we're fully aligned with everything in the EU

That’s exactly why it stays in the gray area—if things were black and white, they’d be handing out fines left and right 🤷

I just tried transferring some funds to my Moneybookers account via wire transfer, but it wouldn't go through... I've double-checked all the card details and the cash is definitely in my account, so I'm not really sure what's going on. It worked fine for deposits before, but now it's failing. There was a note at the bottom suggesting the bank might be blocking it because it’s for gaming purposes...
So, since I have a balance sitting over at William Hill that I deposited using MB, I'm thinking about adding more funds through Neteller. I guess I'm wondering how the withdrawal process would work in that scenario. Would I be able to consolidate everything into either MB or Neteller when I go to withdraw, or would I be forced to split the payout between the two?

I managed to untangle this mess.

Here was my logic:

Haas gets
Stebe gets
Haider Mauer gets
...

So, I take this last Asian -0.5 handicap on the Slovakian side against Liechtenstein

I go to place the bet, and suddenly they hit me with 6x the stake... I'm staring at the screen, completely lost, because my payout should be roughly xxx dollars on an xx dollar stake, with odds around 2.6. But there, tucked away at the bottom, it mentions something about Lucky 15

And then, in a moment of pure, panicked stupidity, I delete everything. I totally choked because I thought they were going to snatch six times my stake—or in this case, over 60 bucks. Usually, the stake section just shows 1x the amount... that's what threw me off.

It clicked later. They had applied that Lucky 15 to the slip, but I hadn't actually triggered it properly....

Just putting it out there. If any of you stumble into a Lucky 15, don't screw it up like I did.

I'm doing alright with Miami overall. Today marks my 33rd bet placed.

Betting sites really ARE total scams, just like everyone says...

The second they think you might actually make money off them, boom—your limits drop to pennies, and they apply it to every single account linked to your Intel address too. They clearly have some pretty ruthless software in place...

I finally pulled the trigger and opened an account over at DraftKings just so I could play some blackjack. Honestly, they seem to be the slowest ones to slash the odds—like, if a line is sitting at 1.20 elsewhere, it might actually stay closer to 1.30 over there for a bit longer
Plus, you don't get hit with those obnoxious, loud-ass commercials every five seconds, and the interface is actually pretty clean and easy to navigate... Though, let's be real, there are definitely better sportsbooks out there if you know where to look

Marathon is absolute garbage. Take their money and run, because you’ll hit a limit within a week. I personally burned through three different accounts there, and my second and third ones lasted barely nine days before they shut me down.

I don't really have an issue with Miami. My bigger headache is our local favorite and the big US banks—they keep telling me my combo has hit the maximum limit when I know for a fact it hasn't...

I tried setting up two more accounts on Marathon, but both got flagged before I could even deposit... they clearly have some pretty solid IP tracking software in place...

On another note, I have to say—I’ve never seen anything like how fast Marathon moves money to Skrill—it’s basically instant, we're talking literal seconds!!! And that's for some pretty decent amounts, too

Even Pinnacle isn't that quick

Anyway, gotta say, I've never seen anything like how fast DraftKings sends cash to PayPal—it’s basically instant, we’re talking literal seconds!!! And that’s for some pretty hefty amounts too.
