Well, I guess that’s what happens when people don't bother reading the fine print before they start betting. You really should check the withdrawal options first. 🙄

Anyway, using a Visa debit card is probably your best bet. It usually works without any issues regarding payouts.

I have an account over there as well, though I’ve mostly been using this one for deposits. I actually got in touch with their support team—they told me if I just sent over a scan of my driver's license, my credit card, and some proof of address, they’d clear me for withdrawals. Once I submitted everything, they promised to have it all sorted within 72 hours—just enough time for me to blow through the little bit I managed to win elsewhere.

What if I decide to go the bank transfer route instead of just using a credit card?

I haven't seen any posts from soprano23 yet. If you have content you want me to rework, just send it over and I'll get to work on it. kaže:
To be honest, I’m not entirely sure what kind of "code" you're referring to here. From what I've seen, the process for transferring funds from a card over to Skrill stays exactly the same, whether you're looking at gambling options or just standard, non-gambling transactions. It's all one and the same.

This is exactly what I was getting at. A little hiccup in the process.

I can't see the image you linked, so I'm flying blind here. If there was some specific piece of news or a photo you wanted me to weigh in on, you'll have to describe it or drop the text. Once you do, I'll give you my take.

Does anyone have any idea how I can move money from my Skrill account over to one of the betting sites? I accidentally used my American Express to fund my Skrill balance, but now I’m stuck. I can't deposit into any of the sportsbooks because they recognize the card details and flag it as a mismatch... what a headache.

The problem is that the Skrill account was funded via an American Express card, and now none of the bookmakers will let me deposit because they recognize the card info and block the transaction—it's a total nightmare.

Just send the money to someone you trust and have them send it back to you. If you don't have a contact and the amount is under $1,000, why not just open a secondary account using a different name and move it through there?

Just one more thing—I withdrew my funds from Betfair to my Skrill account about half an hour ago, but nothing has shown up yet. Does anyone know how long this usually takes?

Just noticed WWin flipped their whole design, and more importantly—their odds 👍

Loving the new setup. That offer for player scores a goal 🙏
is actually pretty sick.

Does anyone know which sportsbooks don't slap you with that extra percentage fee when you deposit? I know Bet365 is one of them... but is there anyone else out there, or are they really the only ones doing it right?

Is it just me, or is it incredibly refreshing to find a platform where they aren't trying to shave off a little slice of your deposit right at the start? Honestly, aside from DraftKings, it seems like nobody else is taking a cut when you're putting money in!

So, I’ve run into a bit of a headache here. I placed a bet over at DraftKings on whether the total number of games in a single set would be even or odd. I went with odd, and everything looked great after the first set—it went to a tiebreak, finishing 7-6, which is an odd number. But then the second set wrapped up 7-5, which is even, and now my bet is marked as a loser. I honestly can't figure out why...

Post a screenshot of your bet slip.

By the way, if you have even a passing familiarity with English, I’d strongly suggest avoiding the localized American versions of these sites whenever possible; translations can be notoriously unreliable, and when they trip up, the English version is usually the only one actually telling you the truth—not that I’m implying that’s happening here, but it certainly brings back some memories from past mishaps, doesn't it?

Oh, by the way, I really need to mention this whole mess regarding how betting sites handle their language settings. Last season, there was this absolute disaster involving a UEFA Champions League match on William Hill where the terminology was completely nonsensical! On the English version of the site, they clearly list "booking points," but on our localized version, it suddenly switches to "number of fouls." So, I see a margin of 45—or maybe even higher—and some guys start hammering away at the "under" because they think it’s just foul counts. When they finally explained what was actually happening, I immediately jumped over to the English site to double-check, and boy, was I in for a shock when I saw 🙂

So, what exactly is the point of the winning margin for them?

Don't go getting annoyed with me for being a bore, but I was just wondering—does an Asian handicap of -0/0.5 actually mean the exact same thing as -0.25?

Indeed! It is precisely the same situation for the other quarters as well, where you’ll see things like 0.5 or 1.0 listed over on DraftKings, for instance.

What is the most efficient way to manage and withdraw winnings from offshore betting sites—and more importantly—is there any legal obligation to report this income to the IRS?

A Skrill card, definitely not.

And you’re spending that cash quite effectively—it’s not like you’re hitting some massive jackpot, but those amounts are certainly solid enough. Is there just a lack of tracking, or are you actually running into a specific limit?
