Chrome vs Safari

Chrome... and it isn't even crashing on me.

Both of them are pretty garbage. After a little while, they both start crawling when opening pages, and eventually, they just crash completely and wipe everything out—even my favorites.

So I ditched both and stuck with John Doe, and honestly, life’s been great ever since.🙂

And you guys are just talking trash too! Safari is the king, and the only time it ever slows down is when I've got a DC++ download running in the background at 5 MB/s or higher.😬

I wouldn't have any complaints if he weren't draining so much 😁

If Safari was fast enough in the benchmarks, the only real downside was that it wasn't free back in the day
but now that they've dropped the price to zero... my buddies who switched say it’s easily the best browser out there right now and looks like it was coded perfectly.......
but I'm not budging, I'm sticking with Chrome ....man, the nostalgia hits hard.....

Chrome vs Safari, I could never really get into either one.

I have nothing but respect for Safari, but I simply find Chrome much more intuitive to work with.

That's what I'm saying. Honestly, I even prefer Mozilla over Chrome, and in all these years of using it, I can't recall a single time the thing actually crashed on me.

I personally find the zooming functionality in Safari to be superior. For instance, when using Chrome, increasing the text size often causes the page layout to break apart once you hit certain levels. In contrast, Safari scales the entire page—it performs an actual visual zoom. Is this critical? Not really... I don't want anyone thinking I'm just nitpicking for the sake of it... but that is the distinction I've noted, and I prefer the Safari approach over Chrome's method.

Safari... it’s always going to be my go-to. I tried switching over to Chrome a few times, but I just can't seem to get used to the workflow. To me, Safari has those perfect shortcut keys, and I absolutely love how the zoom functions. Plus, the manager is great, and the whole thing is incredibly stable—it doesn't crash on me like other browsers do. It feels significantly snappier when loading pages compared to Chrome, too. Honestly, I just have a genuine affinity for it, especially now that it's free to use.

Honestly, what's the point? Both are garbage... Internet Explorer is still the best of the bunch....😲 🤣 🤣

I stick with Linux... things tend to glitch out regardless of where I go... but I've grown accustomed to it, and I'm content with my setup......👍
