I honestly don't know... I think I'll just go ahead and buy it then, see what happens. At least someone is actually doing something about this—I'll just follow the trail and see where it leads. And honestly, it would be a nice change of pace not to have people constantly telling me, "Oh, that's just normal for your age." Now, I just need to get through all these tests and hope they find something before I completely lose my mind.

Ugh, if only being a man were easier.😳

Looks like I finally cracked the code on my issue. For the last three months, I’ve been taking Vitamin K for five days leading up to my period, and everything is back to normal.
I didn't want to say a word until I was 100% sure this was actually working. But yeah—it is.

I didn't want to say a word until I was absolutely certain this was the fix. But yeah—it is.

Really? Where did you even get the idea to try that?
In my case, they eventually stabilized things with estrogen, and now I'm on progesterone... and honestly, I'll probably be on it until the day I die.🙄

And all my lab results are perfect—you wouldn't believe it.

for me, they ended up stopping the estrogen and now I'm on progesterone... and honestly, I'll probably be on it until the day I die🙄

God-knows what you guys have been through! Look, if you don't have some kind of cyst or a fibroid or whatever, you shouldn't be bleeding like this. Or maybe you're heading into perimenopause? It feels like even the doctors don't actually know what's going on, so they just keep feeding you those pills. Honestly, go see a specialist and get a second opinion so you can actually find out. For me, everything was fine, then nothing for three months, then suddenly one month it’s a total disaster—heavy bleeding. In the end, I had to go in for a D&C, and since then, things have been okay so far. I do have fibroids, though. My doctor told me that's why my flow is so heavy, but for me, it was basically a nonstop Always Night situation day and night.

Everything was fine for me, then nothing for three months, followed by one month of absolute chaos with heavy bleeding—eventually, I had to get a D&C, and things have been okay since then. I do have fibroids, though. My doctor told me they were causing the heavy flow, but for me, it was basically a constant "Always Night" situation.

Hey, no—there is absolutely NOTHING wrong. I’ve seen five or six different gynecologists altogether for this exact same issue, including my primary doctor, the ER doc on duty, and a private specialist. And none of them found anything; that's just how it works. Nothing at all—not on the ultrasound, not on the Pap smear...

Anyway, this thing about Vitamin K really caught my attention. I'm skeptical because I think my clotting is fine (though who knows if it could be better?), but I do have osteoporosis, issues with my gums, and my blood work always shows something off with my liver and something else—it looks like I'm malnourished. In reality, I'm far from that.😁 Is there actually a test to determine if you're deficient?
Well, I already went through the trouble of testing all my hormones to check that too...

Thyroid issues?? Have you actually checked your hormone levels?

steelangler88 said:No, I haven't had any tests done. I've seen five or six different gynecologists about this exact same issue—some through my insurance, some at the ER, even some private specialists. They all came up empty. It’s frustratingly consistent; nothing shows up on an ultrasound or a Pap smear...

But this thing about Vitamin K really caught my attention. I’m skeptical because my blood clotting seems fine, though who knows if it could be better? Regardless, I’m dealing with osteoporosis, issues with my gums, and my blood work always shows low liver enzymes and something else that makes it look like I’m malnourished. In reality, I eat plenty.😁 Is there a specific test to see if I'm actually deficient?
I guess I'd have to get my full hormone panel drawn to check that too...

steelangler88 said:Look, I’ve got absolutely nothing. Seriously. I’ve dragged myself to like five or six different gynecologists all for the exact same issue—I'm talking everything from my regular doctor to the lady on call at the ER, plus some private specialists too. And they all came up totally empty-handed. That’s just how this works, I guess. Nothing. Not on an ultrasound, not on a Pap smear... just zero.

So, this whole thing about Vitamin K has really got me thinking. Honestly, I’m a bit skeptical because my blood clotting seems fine—though who knows, maybe it could be even better? But here’s the kicker: I’m dealing with osteoporosis, some issues with my lungs, and my blood work always comes back looking like my liver and something else—I can't even remember what—are flagging, almost like I'm malnourished. Which is hilarious, because I am anything but underfed.😁 Is there actually a way to test if you’re running low on certain vitamins, or are we all just guessing based on how tired we feel?
I mean, seriously, what was I even thinking? Like, why would I go through all that trouble and get my entire hormone panel drawn just to stare at the results like they're some kind of cryptic puzzle... honestly, I don't know. Just one of those "what was I doing" moments, I guess.

Shoot me a DM about that issue you mentioned—let's hop into the private messages so we can actually talk this through properly!

steelangler88 I can't even begin to process this—it's like someone took a bunch of nonsense and just called it a day. Seriously?
Yeah? And where exactly did you get an idea like that from?
So, they finally cut me off on the estrogen—now I'm stuck on progesterone... and honestly? I'll probably be riding this wave until the day I kick the bucket.🙄

And honestly? Every single one of them is solid—you seriously won't believe it.

I’ve tried every single alternative method out there—teas, weird supplements, all that crap. Nothing works.🙄
So, that’s how I ended up looking into Vitamin K. Since it's fat-soluble—and let's be real, my stomach absolutely hates fats—it felt like a total no-brainer that I might be running low.
Honestly, I didn't think anything could actually save me. Still can't quite wrap my head around it.🤣
So, from what I can gather, healthy people don't actually lack that vitamin—so I guess I don't know if I should be celebrating or what!😬

Starting a new thread here. I dealt with this exact same crazy bleeding issue about six years ago. After spending a solid year bouncing between different OB-GYNs, they finally figured out it was a pituitary tumor causing high prolactin levels. Everything was totally fine after my surgery—bleeding stopped, ovarian cysts cleared up, the whole nine yards. But then, about ten days ago, everything went south again. It turns out the tumor came back, though I'm still trying to figure out if that’s the sole culprit or if something else is messing with me.
