Ronald Reed said:Mine hasn't been working for quite a while now either.
I just tried a little experiment by switching my email address to a temporary one, and wouldn't you know it, notifications for new posts in this thread are arriving perfectly fine on that account.
But the moment I switch back to my "original" email, I don't even get the confirmation link required to activate the new address.

That’s exactly how I managed to fix my issue, too.

And I can also confirm that the fault definitely doesn't lie with my own mail server; I've already disabled every single spam filter and antivirus setting, so everything else is coming through without a hitch—except for anything from this forum.

Fine, I’m going to go ahead and change my address too. Maybe that'll actually do something, since nothing is showing up anyway.

Yeah, once I switched over to a different email address, everything started working fine again. Just backing up what those two guys were saying earlier. The only catch is that any notifications about new PMs sent to my AT&T account keep getting flagged as spam—I keep getting those "AT&T email security" alerts.

The notification issue is back at it again

This time, they actually show up, but more often than not, they’re lagging behind by several hours or even an entire day

Look, they haven't shown up at all for the last two days. Is it just me?

I've got the same issue. It's just not working. How are we supposed to fix this? Are we really expected to sit around waiting a whole year for a solution, just like we did while waiting for the forum search function to finally work...?

It’s hard to say for sure, though I wouldn't bet on it.
On the other hand, since the mods haven't even been getting any formal reports lately, things might actually settle down faster than we expect. 😉

I honestly thought things had finally gotten all chill and friendly on here. Like, everyone was just being super respectful and spreading good vibes instead of starting fights. 🙂 😘 🙂 And then, out of nowhere, he just shuts down the whole server. 😁

Suddenly got hit with over 100 email notifications all at once today... probably because they were down for the last few days. Guess they finally fixed it

I find myself wondering if anyone else is experiencing this peculiar inconsistency lately; there are certain moments when my device dutifully sends out a notification, yet at other times, it remains entirely silent despite the activity occurring,

Yeah, it’s been incredibly sluggish lately, honestly. It’s completely hit or miss—sometimes the alerts pop up instantly, sometimes they're lagging behind, and half the time they just never show up at all.

Noah Hall98 said:Yeah, they've been acting pretty sluggish lately, too. Sometimes the service arrives right away, other times there’s a significant delay, and occasionally, it just feels like it never shows up at all.

Yes, that is precisely the situation, and what is truly frustrating is that they still haven't actually resolved the underlying issue; one can only wonder how much more time will pass before they finally get things back in order.

I was wondering if any of the admins might have some insight into why we’re running into this particular issue yet again; it seems the system is still failing to function quite as it should be

It's still not working correctly; could someone please just fix it once and for all?

What kind of repair indications are we talking about?
