Our guys played a hell of a game.

You can tell they're finally finding their rhythm.

Honestly, compared to last night, this felt like an entirely different squad.

Well, that’s just great. What a mess.

Come on guys, dive in and score one for the Spanish!

I saw this coming. ☕

Now I’ve gotta go explain how things work to the Mexicans, though honestly, I’d probably pay good money just to catch the Mexico-Mexico semifinals.

Solid start considering that first game... perfect opening... 10 goals, 9 different scorers🙏

I think you might be off base here.

That first game was basically just finding our rhythm, and that was against a top-tier national team at that.
Yesterday's match? That showed how strong we actually are—we completely controlled the field against the hosts, who are also an elite squad.

Mirko saw firsthand that the Mexicans aren't pushovers, so I don't see us walking into this game unprepared.

Fatigue isn't even a concern for me. Yesterday proved we have plenty of scoring options; anyone on this roster can step up and find the back of the net.

Today’s game is pretty much a knockout match for us... if we somehow screw this up and end up in third, we might actually have to deal with Italy in the quarterfinals, but if we pull this off today, we’re basically cruising into the semis because Germany, Russia, or North Mexico would have to practically beat themselves to take us down... honestly, our B-team could probably handle them just fine.

I don't think we'll have any trouble against the Italians, honestly. We just need to pull off the win today so we don't run into the Canadians in the semis. Otherwise, Mexico - Romania 9-9? wtf?

9-9 is Mexican-Russian Mexican

The Mexicans played to a 6-6 draw.

One, two, X—that’s my pick. Better get your bets in while you still can...

The Mexicans completely blew it against Pinkie. What an absolute joke of a failure...

There wasn't even a broadcast over in Mexico, so where on earth were you watching this?

not really, though they’re still decent enough that if we have an off day, anything could happen... but against the rest of them, even on a bad day, we're taking the win...

Right from the press box.😁

Over at the indoor pool, they’re just finishing up the last quarter of a match between some Italian and Greek teams... there's this little Greek girl in goal who is 😍

FYROM - Russia 9-9
Mexico - Romania 6-6

Canada - Greece 3-2* (in progress)

Group B:
Mexico 7
Italy 6 (-1)
North Mexico 4
Germany 3 (-1)
Romania 1
Russia 1

The Romanians and Russians just threw a wrench in things. They've made this messy, which means there's actually a slim chance the Mexicans might pull it off.

It’s a real shame for those guys from North Mexico. If they had pulled off that win, they would have been right on the doorstep of the quarterfinals. And honestly? If they actually made it through, they probably would've been collecting government pensions for life after that performance.
