Does anyone know a solid DJ operating around the San Francisco or Savannah area? I’m currently living in the Netherlands, but I’m getting married in Savannah next summer at the Hotel Meden—and since we'll have quite a few Dutch guests attending the festivities, the DJ really needs to have an international repertoire. Of course, they should play local favorites, but it's vital that they can spin English hits and even some Dutch tracks too.

Is there anyone out there who could point me in the right direction?

Thanks!👍

DJ Leta👍 will cost you $1333 (at least that was the rate back in October); if you want, I can send you the number.

Hey everyone, so since we’ve finally decided to actually tie the knot and need some serious help, I’m starting this thread.
We're planning on keeping things pretty low-key with maybe 30 to 40 guests, so we really need some pointers on finding a cozy little restaurant in Charleston or somewhere nearby.
Also, if anyone has a killer photographer recommendation, please let me know!
Cheers

Listen, fallen star,
since you’re juggling pregnancy and finishing up school at the same time, you really need to just hire a wedding planner if there is any way you can swing it.
It’ll save you a massive amount of time and honestly, just spare you from the kind of soul-crushing stress that you absolutely do not need right now.
Besides, why even rush—why not just wait and have the wedding after the baby is born?

Hey ladies,
can anyone help me pick a makeup artist??? I’m seriously losing my mind here... I'm stuck between Ana Benzon and Lucija Spajić. Both get rave reviews on the forums. Does anyone have actual experience with them? And if anyone could slide some photos my way, that would be absolutely amazinggggg :-

getting married in my 9th month out here in San Francisco, and we still haven't picked a band. local options are pricey and honestly pretty mid... anyone have recommendations for bands from LA? starting to panic a little

We used Taxi Bend. We were quite satisfied. They aren't cheap, but I suppose they are worth it.

After seeing Ana Benzon, I looked like a porcelain doll with way too much heavy foundation, an awkwardly thick eyeliner wing, and burgundy lipstick. Honestly, I looked totally unnatural and just miserable.
And despite the fact that I
told her exactly what I wanted, it still didn't match the look I had in mind for myself at all.

Bottom line—never again.
My advice? Don't waste your money!

I’m voting for Lucija too. She did my makeup once and I was beyond thrilled with the results.

I highly recommend Nina. She did my makeup for a daytime wedding, and I couldn't be happier with the results. If anyone needs her contact info, just shoot me a DM.

I think I need to find some cheap local florist—doesn't even need to have a storefront. @frozentiger2, I actually booked Lucy Spajic myself; she seems like a great woman. I can send you some photos she sent me if you want to take a look. Cheers.

Everything looks great, thanks everyone.👍
I’ll probably have to give a few of them a call before I make up my mind.
My only real headache is the scheduling. I need hair and makeup done for myself, my mom, and my maid of honor... plus I'll need another session for just me on Monday when we do the photo shoot.🤣

Hey everyone! Does anyone happen to know what the going rate is for Krakun? Seriously, I’ve been seeing them all over my feed lately—everyone is raving about them! I haven't actually had the chance to catch one of their sets live yet, but man, they sound absolutely incredible online. I'm actually thinking about booking them to perform at a little reception I'm hosting for some guests, but I am totally lost when it comes to what these kinds of gigs usually cost... any leads would be amazing! THANKS SO MUCH IN ADVANCE!🙂

wanderingbadger17 You might want to check in with Ivanna; she runs that flower shop, MIS, right across from Victa. She’s easy on the wallet and her work is honestly incredible.

You should probably just ask Jack Murphy7; he'll give you the lowdown on everything.

I spent most of my day wandering through all those local flower farms out near San Francisco, just soaking in the scenery, and I can't help but wonder if I picked up enough $500 to pull off a full bouquet, a centerpiece for the table, and some decorations for the car? Also, does anyone happen to know where that girl is hanging out with Victoria?

Just factor in that if your bouquet is $167, the car decorations alone will probably run you at least $67, and who knows what the centerpieces might cost?
Everything really hinges on what kind of flowers you're actually looking for, doesn't it? You might want to spend a bit more time browsing the local florists or maybe checking out those independent wedding decorators who work out of their home studios.

Hey everyone,

Does anyone here happen to have any leads or maybe some info on what Musac actually sounds like?
