If you need someone to fix up your space, I highly recommend checking out Mirella’s flower shop over at Walmart. She’s got everything you could possibly need, plus she’s just an awesome, genuine person who really knows her stuff. We actually went in for a consultation yesterday and she totally blew us away! 😍

I need some help here! Does anyone know a great DJ in the San Francisco area or nearby? It's urgent!

Does anyone here have any firsthand experience with formal hairstyles at the Simple salon over in the Walmart?

Also, I am desperately seeking recommendations for a florist—specifically someone who can handle everything from bouquets and car decor to church arrangements and reception pieces (I’d love little centerpieces for every guest table plus the main sweetheart table)... Honestly, my dream scenario would be finding a girl who specializes in this so we could go shopping together. We could pick out all the flowers and supplies as a team—I’ll cover all the costs myself, obviously, and just pay her a fair fee for her time and expertise! If anyone knows someone like that, please, please let me know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One more thing... my wedding is in just over three months, and I haven't even stepped foot into a bridal boutique yet... I'm starting to feel a bit of a panic set in when I see how some women start hunting for their dresses a full year in advance. What do you all think????? Am I too late?

Look, I just put down my deposit on mine, and my big day isn't until June. Everyone was breathing down my neck telling me I was cutting it way too close and that I'd have zero options left, blah blah blah.
Honestly, most of that sounded like total nonsense to me; a friend of mine found her perfect dress with only two months to go, and she was even pregnant at the time.

But hey, maybe it’s actually a good move for you to start hunting now just so you can cross one massive thing off your to-do list. Plus, honestly? Just enjoy the process of trying them on. It’s such a blast! 😍

I'm also looking for florist, hair, and makeup recs around the San Francisco/Oakland area, maybe even San Diego.
Ideally, the stylist would be able to come to my house.
Also need wedding cake recommendations too.

Regarding the dress, I put my deposit down pretty early, but I knew exactly what I wanted. Those last 5-6 months of wedding planning are pure madness, and I wanted to make sure I got *the* one. If you aren't super picky, waiting until 2-3 months before isn't the end of the world since most places do final alterations right before you pick it up anyway.

Yeah, it’s definitely possible that it’ll be too short if you’re planning on wearing it right away—like, ordering a dress specifically tailored to your measurements. Honestly, I think it might be cutting it close; at least, that’s what I was told when I was asking around.

I actually picked up my wedding dress at a clearance sale—I’ve mentioned the details of where and how before $433. It was this massive princess-style ballgown, and I ended up reselling it for $800 just to pass the luck on to someone else like me 😍. I noticed some people asking about the cake... mine was from a local bakery in Brooklyn, you can find them on Facebook under "My Little Sweets." It was a four-tier masterpiece with custom designs I picked out myself, featuring a Ferrero Rocher flavor, $400. It was incredible, honestly, just like everything else they made. If anyone is looking for a quartet, I’ll always recommend Square Band, and our photographer Mladen did an absolutely stellar job, even if we had to wait a while for the shots ☕

Does anyone happen to remember where you all went to get those thank-you notes and invitations printed—specifically for that run between the coast and San Francisco? I’m curious about where you actually laid out the text for the invites... and more importantly, where on earth you sourced that incredibly high-quality paper they used?

I used some stationery from Malibu. I think that was the name. I just ended up printing everything myself at home...😉

Your best bet is to dive in headfirst right now while all the dresses are still in stock... might just be a bummer if the really pretty ones are already gone... when's the big day?

Hey,
anyone know a good Candy Shop in the San Francisco area that does killer desserts, but not just the basic stuff?
I'm craving cupcakes or those fancy dessert cups...

hit me up if you have any leads :-)

We're just gonna grab a cake at the Candy Shop. Heard from some girl that it was killer...
Tried those mini macarons from her Candy Shop... one word: PERFECTION. So soft they literally melt in your mouth, and you can actually taste the real ingredients—one was strawberry, the other pistachio. mmmmmm 😍
I bet all the cookies are like that, just look at 'em. 🤷

Thinking about heading over to the bakery near the singer's place in a small town in California... we're meeting her to finalize the cake order, but the moms are handling all the cookies 😍
