Nah, he’s heading out on a ship this Thursday. He won't be back home for about a month, though we aren't even sure of the exact timing yet—it might be mid-July or maybe early August. Then, he'll be heading back again around the middle of January... 🤷

So when is Mass?

Well, he's doing whatever he pleases, isn't he? It's either happening tonight, or we're looking at private sessions with the priest...

Sorry, I just caught that... Honestly, waiting until February is a bit of a gamble. They haven't even released next year's schedule yet.

Come on, give us a hint...

I couldn't agree more...
Tell him it’s either that or the whole thing is going to be a total mess.😛

Just make sure you double-check when they'll be in San Diego. They usually run a little behind the schedule over in St. Peter...

Then you really need to corner him...

Is it always possible to schedule private sessions with a priest? Or is there a catch? I was thinking maybe we could aim for August when things slow down, or perhaps during the last month before Easter?
When does the calendar for next year typically get released?

In San Diego, the rates went into effect last night.

He’s trying to base the calculation on the rates from the priest over in a small town outside of Phoenix—mostly because he knows him personally and hopes they can work something out regarding the dates—but I'm not entirely sure if that's actually allowed! 😕

Just remember, most priests take their vacations in July and August, so I wouldn't count on much then...

Then, the following Sunday, things kick off at St. Peter... would that be possible then? Or not?

As for those private sessions, you really need to double-check. I truly don't know.🤷

You know what? I’m officially done stressing... When he finally shows up in July or August, then we can deal with it. Until then, I am absolutely not booking anything or even thinking about the wedding. Honestly, it's better this way—less anxiety for me now, and whatever happens, happens later. I’ve been nagging him all week long, begging and pleading, and all I get is "not today," "we'll figure it out," "let's do it Friday," or "Monday is fine." I finally managed to drag him there today, only for him to show up late.
Now he’s heading out on a cruise this Thursday, so when he gets back, he can come up with a plan for how to handle everything... In the meantime, I'm going to go ahead and enjoy these last two days of peace. 🙄

Thanks so much to everyone for all the info and advice you shared with me today 😘

Oh, come on....
What if he coincidentally drags him in front of St. Peter tonight?😉
And knowing how people from the coast are, they aren't exactly eager to help—they're all about that "we'll get to it" attitude...
At least that's how it works for me... and it really 😠

😂😂 So, I actually just tried out your recipe a couple of days ago!🤣

I guess you couldn't find any answers... 😂
so you just decided it’s better to stay silent rather than ask anything at all. 🤣

haha, my family basically held a meeting and decided that if we can pull it off, it’d be better if my best man goes to the course with me instead 🙄
Do I need to show this to anyone in management? Or could this actually fly? 😕

Does anyone know who handles those car registration tables in the US?

try a local print shop like FedEx Office or Staples... their vinyl stickers are killer and they get everything done, I used them for custom wedding invites and wine labels once... they work hard and they're fast as hell...👍

Well, at the start—like during registration—they always ask for an ID... unless your godfather looks exactly like him and can just use his ID, but honestly, I wouldn't mess with that. Just talk to the priest—any reasonable priest would be happy to work with you guys.😉

I've been lurking on this forum for a while now (you guys are awesome!), but I haven't actually posted until today. I remember some of you recommending makeup artists around the San Francisco area a while back, so if anyone wouldn't mind sending me their numbers via DM, I'd really appreciate it. I've asked everyone I know, but nobody seems to have any leads, and I'm running out of time...🤷
