Yeah, they’re actually great. I’ve been to weddings where they played before, and we’ve already booked them for our own wedding this May. 😍

Anyway, I’m asking again since nobody seems to be replying, haha 🙂. Does anyone know anything about the Glasser hall over in Indianapolis on Strossmayer? I haven't had a wedding there myself, but we just put down a deposit. I'm mostly wondering about the food and the service...
I've heard some good things, but I'd love some actual insight.

Has anyone actually checked out the new Admiral Exclusive lounge over in Mirkovac yet? Also, how’s the food at the Admiral in general? It looks pretty budget-friendly from what I can tell...

I haven't been to the new lounge yet, but we booked a large ballroom right at the Admiral Hotel.
If you're looking at the Admiral, I'd move fast. We actually put our deposit down last year for an event this year. Their food is incredible—tons of options to mix and match, and everything is prepared perfectly. Not to mention the service and organization; they really are the best in the business. Even though they cost a little more than other spots in Vk and the surrounding area, it's definitely worth it...

We’re planning on putting down a deposit in about a month for next year, and from what I can tell, that new hall isn't fully booked yet. Personally, I think the price is pretty reasonable ($73)

Which month are you thinking of booking for, and how many people will be in your party?

Sandra Hernandez9 said:Ladies, I have no idea who is handling the floral arrangements around here, but if you value your sanity—just stay far away from Dad. I stopped by yesterday to pick up a bouquet, and frankly, I have never encountered such sheer lack of professionalism in my life. The man’s attitude was so infuriatingly primitive that my blood pressure hit the ceiling; I was practically seeing red. 😠

I am right there with you!
That shop usually works with the Marriott center, and they actually recommended them to me so everything—the bouquets, the church decor, the reception hall, even the car—would all match perfectly. But then, the second I asked if they could put some anemones in a bouquet, the woman basically snapped at me. So I just looked her dead in the eye and said: look, if you can't handle a simple request, fine, but I'm definitely not buying anything from you!

I actually have a light show set up myself, and I use Leon Productions to run everything.

I'm not entirely sure yet... maybe May, June, or July, depending on what's available and when my band and photographer can make it work. We're looking at roughly 250 guests.

So, have you had your interview yet?
I went in back in April, and even then, the ballroom was already looking pretty packed, which is why I'm asking—especially since this is their second venue. From what I hear, everyone has nothing but great things to say about the staff!

Yeah, you should definitely look into it. I went back last year around October, and even then, the whole 2010 season was already packed... You really ought to book at least a year or eighteen months before you plan to head out. But hey, go check it out yourself; maybe you'll get lucky. We ended up paying $550. I doubt the other one would be much cheaper.

I'm not sure if you've heard of Vince. I believe his asking price is roughly around $1167.

We ended up going with the effects from George over in St. Louis.
His base price starts at $500, and if you include the full wall painting package, it goes up to about $1667.
The thing is, he’s pretty flexible—you can basically chat with him about your budget, and he’ll find a way to make it work for you.

I can shoot you his cell number via DM if you need it!

I was playing there this past Saturday😉

The room is brand new, everything is top notch.
They're actually still tweaking the acoustics right now, but even so, it sounds alright...

And the food and service at Admiral? Honestly, it's the best in Indianapolis.

Does anyone happen to have a recommendation for a stripper out in the Midwest?
Thanks in advance

Honestly, I don't think you're gonna find anything in the Midwest—it's just not happening there. A few people I know have definitely used strippers before, but they always brought them in from NYC or even Mexico City. I guess they were willing to pay for the travel and everything, which probably made it worth the hassle 😁, but hey, I'm just saying—don't quote me on it
