Michelle Taylor said:Please tell me what you picked up in Canada and where. I’m lost. I’m there almost every day because I’m getting married there. Maybe it's because I'm there so often that everything feels empty. 😁 I'm planning on DIY-ing a massive amount of this myself. I'll even be crocheting little butterfly hats for the bottles I want to label. Where did you get those bottles? (I'm assuming they're Schweppes)

I bought the Orangina bottles at a local grocery store—they were only 50 cents each.

Has anyone here dealt with Chic in Indianapolis regarding hair or makeup services?

True, that’s a different story entirely... Since 6.2 miles I live far from the border, it works out fine for me... 🙂 Anyway... I went to look at invitations on Facebook today, and honestly, people, I was shocked... There's this print shop called Zebra; I'm paying $2.20 apiece because I ordered a "large" batch, but I didn't see a single one more expensive than $1.00, even with an order up to 100 units... I suppose I'm just lucky, though I was worried about taking on this extra work just to end up losing money. It turns out it's actually worth it since I found such a deal 😁...

Oh, that is fantastic news... 🎉
Do they actually maintain their own website where they showcase their products?
It doesn't sound like a massive selection at all—I'm genuinely curious to see what their catalog actually looks like... 🤣

Ladies, where are you planning to pick up your cakes and desserts? What's the verdict on Kitty's baking?

Honestly, everything I’ve heard has been glowing—which is exactly why I booked my wedding day hair and makeup there.😍

Ladies, I could really use some advice... where have you all gone to order your wedding cake? 🙂
I honestly feel like I’d be willing to drive across the entire Midwest just to find the right one—mostly because the bakers in my neck of the woods are seriously overdoing it with their designs... 🙂

Does anyone know if I can rent an old-timer somewhere in St. Louis or the surrounding area?

My wedding bands just arrived today... Someone here mentioned a jeweler right across from the local jeweler, so we're heading there now to pick up our $833 white gold pieces. I'll post some photos once they're finished 😍

I am truly delighted to hear that... 😍
Just so you know, I’ll be heading that way myself—my partner and I—once the fog rolls in. 😂

Thanks, Taylor Kelly2 🙂 Honestly, you might want to take a look now or just wait until after Valentine's Day. That jeweler is hiking up their prices starting February 1st, and we even checked out Karat down in the basement—I think that’s the name? Even there, they aren't cheap; a standard wedding band is running about $3,000. Still, I suppose they aren't too bad compared to the other jewelry stores around town. 😂
Our options here are actually quite lovely...😍

I'm still not quite catching your drift here.. 😢
But honestly, shouldn't we be getting those wedding bands sorted out as soon as possible? Especially with how prices seem to be jumping lately?! 😲
Then again—is seven months out actually too early to start buying? 🤷 I know some couples wear their rings well before the big day and they seem fine until the wedding festivities kick in... but I don't know. I’m such a klutz that I’d probably just end up losing them somewhere around the house. 😂

I’d suggest holding off on any big purchases for now; prices always spike right around Valentine's Day. We decided to pull the trigger today because we finally had the budget available, and our local jeweler was actually willing to give us a decent little discount, so we checked that off the list. All we have left to get are the suits and shoes for both of us, so most of it is handled🤣. From here, we’re just going to save up a bit more until July. We’ve been handling everything ourselves—doing all the planning and shopping—and as for the wedding itself, we’ll just see how things go with whatever gifts we receive🤷

I’m sure everything will turn out beautifully 😉
We’re taking things one step at a time, just like you guys—slow and steady wins the race. I’ve already checked decor and invitations off my list, so it doesn't really matter if I'm getting ahead of schedule... though, honestly, in the States, we have our own quirks—like how we sometimes find ourselves paying for catering deposits way before the big day actually arrives 😂
But anyway, that’s probably better suited for a different thread... 😛
Since I’ve already started typing and I’d hate to drift too far off-topic, does anyone have recommendations for where to pick up a suit for him? Also, I was wondering where one might find decent cufflinks and tie clips 🤣—I was thinking of getting him something for Valentine's Day, essentially combining a romantic gesture with some practical wedding prep 😂

I went there for my wedding makeup and hair. Honestly, I was pretty happy with it. They did my makeup around 3 PM, and even after dancing all night in 100-degree heat, it looked basically fresh at 7 AM the next morning. 😁 And the hairstyle held up through all those ridiculous poses we had to do for the photographer. 🙂 Price was fine, I guess—definitely recommend them if you need someone.

Does anyone offer mobile services? Specifically, does anyone know if a makeup artist from that Apple studio does home visits?

We actually grabbed ours from Grandma's Hollow... their cookies are fantastic. I highly recommend them; we sampled some at a local fair and were extremely impressed with the quality.

We picked up this suit from a local tailor just four days ago $433 during an Apple clearance sale! I ordered all the pastries from Russia—truly the best treats I have ever tasted. You can find shirts, ties, and everything else you need in Indianapolis here in America; it’s a bit pricier, but the quality is excellent. I am not sure where you all are sourcing your wedding bands, but we bought ours in Dakota for $400! And honestly, how much money are people actually spending on invitations?????

Morgan Scott68, you're my only reliable source for the truth here 😍. Where exactly is this Russia thing? Are we talking about a location, or is it just some local bakery name? 🤷

Russia is just some small town outside of Richmond. There's this local bakery there called Sweetie.
