So, then 😁 I checked out a few different salons, and honestly, some of the staff just didn't seem particularly skilled... it was an immediate turn-off for me. Do you happen to have a number I could call? If you could send it over via DM, that would be great. I’d probably just bumble my way into the shop like a total klutz if I didn't have a heads-up 😛

quietcobra52- what exactly do you guys have in those $1333? Just one photographer and one videographer?

Hey, I need some pointers on where to get my makeup done around Indianapolis... I've heard some buzz about Helena make up and Helen make up on Facebook, but honestly...

quietcobra52- which band did you guys hire for 1000 bucks including the backing group?

Does anyone know a really good makeup artist around the Columbus area who does house calls?

We were planning on picking up John's photos from Ivankov! We had heard he had an excellent collection of DVDs and prints. But now, I'm reading here on the forum that they aren't actually any good!

Well, look at that!🙂

It goes like this:
- You get one videographer and one photographer
- basically, the price covers filming the whole wedding plus all the editing
- 5 sets of DVDs
- professionally edited photos of the whole wedding party (around 500 shots)
- a CD with the raw photos
- 3 prints, 8x12 inches (you pick the pics)
- photo albums
- 3 pillows featuring the newlyweds (your choice of images)
- if you want, they can come shoot a little "prequel" video a few days before
- you also get the original footage from the camera (just in case you ever need it)
- thank-you cards cost extra, though you can order invitations through them too—they're actually pretty cheap there

Check out Grega Band from the Midwest! It's just the four of them, but they're solid—classic wedding vibes. They've got a page on Facebook if you want to look them up.

Don't bother with him, trust me—they used to be solid, but with this new lineup? Total wash. I’ve seen it firsthand.

Ladies, where can I even find those tablecloths—and what the hell are they actually called? (I honestly have zero clue lol). They’re like these long, floor-length cloths that drape all the way down the sides so you can't see the legs—kind of like curtains? I need them for a buffet setup I'm running, but I don't even know what search terms to use to find them. I'm thinking about grabbing something similar for some high-top cocktail tables near the entrance, too. Any ideas?

Hey girls! Has anyone here picked up any fabric for dresses from the hallway lately? I’m curious about the pricing—is it actually worth it? And more importantly, how’s the quality? I can't quite remember the technical name for this specific material, but you know the type: super lightweight, moves beautifully when you walk... kind of like this: http://www.modamo.info/images/storie..._500_large.jpg

dustytinker58, to looks like organdy to me... maybe some sheer silk, or even just plain tulle layered over regular silk or satin... it’s got that vibe... but I’m leaning most heavily toward organdy... it's hard to say for sure, though...

If you ask me, organza is way more see-through than what we're looking at, so I don't think that's it. Besides, you can find dresses made of that kind of fabric in pretty much every shop during the summer months...
God help my cousins for dealing with me 😁

Yeah, I agree... some of those dresses have way too many layers. But this gray one? The bottom part is just far too sheer... especially with the light hitting it like that... 🤷

I’ll try to track down some info elsewhere... but I’m also wondering, has anyone here picked up fabric for dresses at the mall lately? I need about 10 yards, so I'm curious—is it actually worth the trip?

My neighbor grabbed some killer fabric for her groomsmen's suits at a market in a Small town, USA—saved her like 30% compared to those mall prices. So, if you've got the patience and the time, maybe swing by that small town on a Thursday? There's this one guy there who specializes in all kinds of textiles.

Does anyone know if there’s any lace available over in the hallway? Or maybe somewhere in a Small town, USA?

Anyone know what the going rate is for floor tiling in the hallway right now?
