I truly believe you won't run into any issues with customs, as it's essentially the same as if you had simply purchased some extra clothing, and I have certainly heard that there are some absolutely stunning options available.🙂

I’m thinking maybe by next year—we'll start hitting up some spots after Easter... but honestly, the admiral 🙂 hall looks pretty killer on its own, so I don't think I'll need much else... plus, I'll need guest rooms... it's not even that pricey, probably around 4 bucks easy... thanks for the heads up 😍

I feel you, but if I wanted something truly "wow" 😍 over in Lenije? Honestly, looking at those tiny spots doesn't really do it for me 😉 though the Mississippi River definitely has options. Are you thinking about doing the shoot on the wedding day? I'd love to do it then, but fitting it all in might be a struggle... I'll try to make it work. I'm not actually from Memphis, just from the outskirts, but I went to school there so I know the area pretty well 🙂 Where are you thinking of going for hair? Sorry if I'm grilling you too much 😁 🙂

I'm also looking for a good hairstylist and makeup artist in the Memphis area—it would be even better if they were traveling back home for the occasion. Please let me know if you have any leads!

It kind of gives me Studio 54 vibes.. 🤷 As for those makeup artists who bring their daughters along, I’m pretty skeptical.. Mad respect to anyone who actually shows up on time though.. I can't stand it when people are late, and if they just ghost you entirely? Honestly, I'd lose my mind 🙂 😁 A few girls have already mentioned that some people just don't show up at all.. personally, I haven't dealt with it yet, but 😕

Has anyone here checked out or picked up any rings from the Pleroo jewelry stores? I'm curious about how their pricing looks and if the quality actually holds up.

Also, just wanted to jump back into the conversation regarding photographers from a few pages ago—I finally booked Photo Zoom, and honestly, I'm super happy with everything we've worked through so far!🙂

I'm also from near VK, and we're doing the shoot on the wedding day. Once the guests are busy eating and drinking at my place, we'll head over to my hometown for photos because it’s pretty cute too. Then, on the way from the wedding to the reception hall, we might swing by Kunjevac—if it rains, the indoor vibe there is great—or hit up VK if the weather holds up. My cousin is doing my hair; she’s a pro and everyone around here knows her for being both talented and affordable. She’s basically the family stylist at this point. She'll show up at my place at 6 AM to fix the bride, mom, maid of honor, sisters—basically anyone who wants to look good—and then head home. Later that night, she'll be at the venue since she's family. 🙂

We actually picked up some rings at Pleroo. Super happy with them! 😁The staff is really easy to talk to, and the prices are totally fair...

So, my wedding is happening this summer—had to push it back a year, which was a total headache—so now I’m diving headfirst into all the planning.
I need the works: venues, bands, photographers, hair, makeup... even a suit (seriously, where can I find a good one around here?). Oh, and don't forget invitations, boutonnieres, flowers, and dessert!

I'm based out of Indianapolis, but honestly, I'm down to travel a bit if it means finding the perfect stuff. 😉

As for suits for your partner—check out Harkanje over at the local market (they run about 500-$200).. I suppose I could send you photos of two different suits if you think that would be helpful..

Here’s the deal—I actually do a pretty decent job of doing my own makeup, but for my big day, I want something truly spectacular. Most of what I’ve seen so far has been just... meh.
I reached out to Victoria from Indianapolis, but she won't even book unless there's a group of at least five women. 🤷
I did hear about this artist named Jane Doe, but honestly, there’s zero info online—hardly any photos on Facebook either. Plus, her price starting at $40 including lash extensions seems almost too good to be true... and I'm terrified of being disappointed when you only get married once.
On the other hand, Anna Coric looks absolutely stunning in her portfolio...
I also heard some buzz about Studio 54—has anyone here actually used them?
Any advice at all would mean the world to me.

Vigus does tent rentals, and they actually have a location right in Indianapolis! Last year, I saw rental prices starting around $267, plus whatever delivery fees they tack on... You should definitely check them out on Facebook; they also do balloon decor, high-top tables, catering, and all that good stuff...

As for a suit, my vote goes to Galileo (Mall of America or Portanova) 🙂
