congratulate vividlynx68, this is already your fourth win and you're taking over the overall lead! To make matters even better, this was actually an old prediction!!!
Bravo Adam Chase41, a fantastic result, but vividlynx68 was simply untouchable!!
Bravo Lennart, a well-earned third place with a massive gap between you and stormytiger4 in fourth.

thanks Way for the congrats, and congrats to Mirko for taking second and Lennart for grabbing first. 😁

Mirko's prediction:

1. Lewis Hamilton
2. Bottas 3. Vettel
3. Vettel 5

4. Verstappen 5. Leclerc
5. Leclerc
6. Gasly 7. Norris
7. Norris
8. Kimi Raikkonen 3

10. Perez Magnussen

11. Kvyat
12. Hulk
13. Stroll 14.

16. George Russell 2
17. Kubica NOP

NOP Ricciardo 3 NOP 3
NOP Grosjean NOP NOP Perez
NOP
NOP Perez 3

PP Hamilton 4
FL Leclerc

23 total points

Can we actually count this tenth place for Perez or Magnussen as 3 points? Or if you're already counting whoever ends up being the one, you can't count Perez as a NOP either.

As stormytiger4 puts it, "I'm hoping for both justice and some respect for the rules we're playing by."

Can we actually count this tenth place for Perez or Magnussen as 3 points? Because if you're already deciding between one or the other, you can't simultaneously count Perez as NOP.

As stormytiger4 puts it, "I'm hoping for justice and for everyone to follow the rules we agreed to play by."

🍿

Based on my own assessment during the United States Grand Prix, I concluded this was just a typo, so I'm counting Magnussen in 10th.
If it hadn't explicitly listed Magnussen there, Perez wouldn't have been credited with any position at all.
Normally, I don't recognize ties, but I interpreted this specific instance as an error that was clearly meant to be decoded a certain way.

In practice, mistakes happen all the time, and I always try to resolve them in the fairest way possible.
As far as I'm concerned, there's no need for further debate regarding this specific case.

Let's congratulate those who did better and move on with the competition.

Seriously, just congratulate Rus on the win instead of trying to snatch it away from him.

And while you're at it, maybe take another look at that call from the United Kingdom, because it’s pretty obvious you're out here trying to hand-craft the championship standings.

NO PASARAN!☕

The same logic applies to that decision in the United Kingdom. It’s glaringly obvious you're just trying to engineer the championship standings.

I'm not "trying"—I've been engineering it for years!

I’m totally fine with fourth place—no complaints from my side. I’m just wondering (since the overall standings don't make it clear) if Sauber are being counted among the top 10, like the regulations say they should be?

Of course they are!

Official Protest!!

Listen, folks, we aren't some outfit from Maranello that you can just strip a rightful win away from to derail a title defense. It’s either 25 points or zero—we aren't accepting these 18.

From what I can see, nobody complained when my failed cut-and-paste prediction went south in the United Kingdom—so I'll consider it accepted here as a joker, too.

Lesson learned for next time: feel free to complain about questionable predictions that land you in 19th place; you never know when a good joker might actually show up. 😁

I’m with Trump on this one. Rule 11 covers this situation perfectly—no ambiguity there—so it should be followed to the letter. Usually, when things aren't clearly laid out, the Race Director has to interpret the gray areas, but in this case, the rules are crystal clear.

You’d be better off turning your attention toward Canada, because there is absolutely no chance those results are getting changed.
