Go ahead and train—but if you happen to miss a direct opening, you can always fall back on jiu-jitsu.😁

Hey, does anyone happen to know if Marijan Žižanović is still teaching Muay Thai classes? I was over at the local gym last week where he was supposedly training, but people there were saying he isn't around anymore, I guess...

Hey everyone, I was just wondering—does really no one here have anything to say or any advice to offer?

Hey everyone,
does anyone know if there are any boxing clubs near those cities?
And I mean actual boxing, not just some other martial arts gym...

I'm not from Zadar...
I still haven't figured out when the kickboxing training sessions actually take place. O.o

neonotter97 said:Hey everyone! So, I'm just getting started with my studies over at the University of Florida, and I was wondering if anyone knows where I can train Muay Thai around Gainesville? It doesn't have to be a competitive gym—I just want somewhere high-quality with an experienced instructor who actually gets things done instead of just messing around. If anyone has any recommendations or tips, I’d really appreciate it! Thanks in advance!

Google is your friend.

There used to be a championship club over in Kurşanc—not sure if they're still running, though. Tel: 040/382-002

Thanks, rowdynomad8. We’re going to do a little digging into these two clubs now to see what our next move should be.

Hey everyone

I’m on the hunt for a BV club or school that runs training sessions in the morning or maybe early afternoon.

I’ve been bouncing between boxing and judo for about ten years now, but honestly, I’m down to try pretty much anything at this point—as long as it’s somewhere in the Greater New York City area and the sessions wrap up by 4 PM at the latest.

It’s been three months since I last stepped on the mats, and let me tell you, the aging process and the weight gain are hitting hard, so please, people, help a brother out!

If you need a lead—there's Krav Maga over in the Westside district (at the kickboxing gym right across from the church).

They have one group that runs from 10:00 to 11:30 AM.

Awesome, thanks so much! Krav Maga, huh? Why not? I think I'll head down there and check it out.

Keep 'em coming!

Hey there,

So, after being away from the mats for about two years now—just taking a long break, you know how it goes—I’m looking to get back into the swing of things and start training MMA. I was wondering if anyone could point me toward some solid gyms in the area?

I’m living on the West Side of the city, so being on the West Side would definitely be a huge plus for me—places like near the old industrial districts or the western suburbs... anything in those neighborhoods?

Just to be clear, I’m not looking to go pro or step into a cage for competition—that’s not really my speed—but I do want to train properly, with good technique. I'm aiming for at least three sessions a week, though honestly, if I find a place I love, doing five or six days wouldn't be an issue for me at all.

Can anyone recommend a high-quality MMA club on the West Side?

Thanks!

Just a heads-up for everyone over on the East Side—UFK BAN moved to their new (well, old now) spot at 123 Liberty Ave, Brooklyn. You can check them out here: http://www.mma-klub-banteam.com/

What’s the damage for Krav Maga classes in Seattle? I saw on their site that sessions run until 10 PM, but does anyone know if they have earlier slots? That's way too late for me.

Krav Maga in River City
We’ve got the starter group hitting the mats Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8 to 9 PM.
If you’re already part of the crew, the advanced session runs from 9 to 10 PM—price is $83 per month.
We’re also opening up a brand new group for Tuesday and Thursday from 6 to 7 PM, plus a Sunday slot from 1 to 2 PM.
Plus, we throw in extra conditioning workouts $33—that’s twice a week,
. Just a heads up, you gotta be at least 16 to join, and if you're on the younger side, you need a parent to drop you off.

Hey guys—anyone here from the West Side who hits up kickboxing training? I know there are two gyms around town, and I basically know where they're located, but I’m a bit lost on the actual scheduling. Like, what are the typical time slots? Any idea when they actually run classes? Thanks.

Quick question; so apparently there’s this Kendo club out in [generic mid-sized US city] called Kendo Club [Generic City], but their website is a total mess—like, the training schedules are completely wrong. I tried reaching out to the people listed on the site, but... yeah, radio silence so far. I’m 17 and I actually want to get serious about Kendo... if anyone knows what's going on with them, please let me know... you can hit me up via email kovacdomagoj@gmail.com. Thanks.
