Since my English isn't great, would someone mind providing a brief summary of what this article is actually saying? Thanks!

Bottom line: October is looking ugly because the smart money is betting on a short. They might be wrong, though. 😁

On another note, did you guys know there are actually bacteria out there that basically "poop" gold? 😍

Great... now they just need to figure out how to supply themselves with gold(III) chloride.
Basically, they aren't conjuring gold out of thin air. 🙂
What's next? 🙂

In short—Blythe Masters is worried that the Commercials might actually be right. They’ve taken aggressive short positions on silver, and there's a real possibility they aren't wrong—unlike the usual puppets giving advice out there...😁

If you truly believe they have the upper hand, then you should be shorting silver rather than going long. It's your call—your money...

Personally, I'm holding all my positions except for my SLWea short at $37.60 (if I recall the entry correctly)—if it drops significantly below that, I might look to buy back in...
I could also take some profits on my AGQ today, since I'm sitting on a nice gain there; if I do that, I won't really care which direction the price moves next 😁

But honestly, these bacteria could really help out our folks over at the Federal Reserve who handle all the gold buying. 😍

From what I can gather, we're looking at a massive short against stocks in the DJIA and Nasdaq 100, not a short against silver itself.
If those stocks tank, precious metals should theoretically head north. Therefore, if you short silver, you're basically just begging to lose money rather than making any.

Fair enough—you're right that the charts support your view. However, if I understood our colleague correctly, his focus is on metals, not the DJIA or Nasdaq... 🤣

That was my mindset when I wrote this—I was looking at the positioning for Commercials (who are supposedly the "smart money"). Take a look at their positions and draw your own conclusions...

P.S.—It appears the Commercials are hedging by going short on both metals and equities... which, in my opinion, is an incredibly strange hedge... 😍
Unless, of course, there is a deeper play at work here...

Commercials are always shorting; it’s just a matter of how much. They need time to build their positions, which makes them a reliable indicator only when prices are bottoming out, basically when we hit the floor and their shorts start to shrink. They could be holding massive short positions right now, allowing the price to climb toward 1900—say, hitting 1880 or 1890—before we finally see a correction.

There’s that old narrative about Blythe Masters—the idea that they aren't taking silver shorts for their own benefit, but simply hedging positions for clients... Honestly, even Manit couldn't tell you if there's any truth to her story.

Instead of getting bogged down in those minor details, we should probably focus on the fact that gold is breaking through resistance at $1,790. If it holds this level through tomorrow, we’re looking at a clear run past $1,800.

It’d be nice if it happened today 😁. We just need a few more Dollars to break 1794—once silver clears 35, this thing won't stop so easily. Once we hit 1800, you can bet a whole new crowd of buyers will jump in.

It’s weird. With the Dollar being this weak, gold should have already started climbing... instead, it looks like everyone is just aggressively shorting silver right now. Strange.

I don't see what's weird about it. The free market is doing exactly what it's supposed to do. 😍
Anything could happen tomorrow.

Like I already said. It's sitting at 7.8% 😁

It's just lovely watching gold tank from 1790 down to 1777 in a single minute

It’s pretty easy to see things starting to slowly bleed out at this point... but hey... I'm not gonna sit here and play fortune teller😁

Of course the cartel isn't going to let the week close above $1800 and $35.
That would just trigger a massive buying spree on Monday, and we all know they aren't having any of that, right? 😁

That’s exactly how they triggered a sell-off avalanche... and honestly, it's fine. 👍
As long as things aren't just stagnating, I'm good. 🙂

I am currently reviewing the September unemployment figures for the USA—hitting a four-year low at 7.8%. Should we expect this to significantly impact the dollar, oil prices, or gold?☕
