Spending a hundred years prepping for some big moment, only for it to blow up right in your face before you're even ready!

Look, better to be over-prepared than caught flat-footed. Just wait and see how this plays out.

Right now, you can find savings accounts in our local banks pulling in about 3-3.5% annual interest. Honestly, you aren't gonna find much better than that.

All this chaos happening with global metals? It's just background noise. 🙂

The Dollar is hunting for its floor

Once it finds it, gold is going to slam right into the 50 DMA:

http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=$GOLD&p=D&yr=0&mn=3&dy=0&id=p48132686765

Looking at a bounce near 1710 before it slides back under the 50 DMA.

So, this went down yesterday right in the middle of the game. Honestly, I’m not even gonna touch this one—I'll just leave it to my fellow colleagues to pick apart.

It wasn't actually all that bad, considering it was produced by CBS 🙂
Of course, the disciples of Keynesian pseudo-economics were busy screaming that gold was in a bubble, but I guess we should have seen that coming 🙂

I honestly don't get why everyone gets so worked up about playing the price movements in a bubble. At the end of the day, all that matters is when you get in and when you get out. You just decide for yourself when it’s time to lock in those gains, much like how dustyheron5 did back when he offloaded half his silver holdings—I assume he was trying to hedge his bets before that Bernie Sanders speech 🤷. It doesn't really matter if you didn't catch the absolute widest possible swing in value. As long as the spread is positive, covers your costs, and puts some money in your pocket, that's really all there is to it.

I have to admit, I found it baffling why the woman didn't just suggest people stop buying gold at the end of the segment if she’s truly convinced it's a bubble... that would be the logical move for someone holding that view.. 😉

By the way, physical gold is incredibly hard to come by at these inflated prices... so either the price will return to its intrinsic value, or the intrinsic value will catch up to the price 😁

I’ve been noticing a massive surge in gold buyback shops all over Washington, D.C.—it’s getting to the point where they're practically competing with casinos and clubs for people looking to gamble away their cash. Clearly, something is shifting in the economy; there's no way these places stay afloat unless there's a serious underlying trend—operating costs alone would eat them alive otherwise! So, what's the actual deal with the gold business these days?

Hell yeah! We’re looking at pulling more than 5 tons of gold out of circulation this year—which basically means we're talking about vacuuming up nearly 10 tons of gold jewelry total. Now, you try doing the math on that... just imagine how many rings, necklaces, and gold coins that actually turns out to be. It's insane. 😂

And we’re talking about the official numbers here.
We could easily double or even triple that figure to get a real sense of how much gold has permanently left the US.

If everything plays out according to schedule today—or even if we look at tomorrow's event—the Dollar should be heading north, while gold keeps on correcting. But honestly? The Dollar looks incredibly weak right now, and once you factor in Quantitative Easing, nothing is a sure bet.

Silver is sitting at 33.17, and the Dollar just slipped to 1.312. Honestly, this whole thing smells like some massive "everything is fine" smoke screen being pumped out in the US to smooth things over for the elections—once the dust settles after the vote, though, it’s going to be a massive wake-up call. Come on guys, buy the dip, dip, dip. The economy is a total wreck, but sure, let's pretend Quantitative Easing is going to magically fix everything... yeah, right. I'm just waiting for these barbaric metals to drop a little more so I can snag some at a decent price.

...and just how long can this charade continue before every single private vault is bled dry? It won't be much longer than what happened with our own federal treasury, which practically gave away over 40,000 pounds of gold bullion through sheer incompetence and reckless selling.

This whole situation will just drag on indefinitely until enough people finally reach a breaking point and trigger a local reset...
From a purely selfish standpoint, the goal is simply to keep your head above water longer than everyone else.

So far, so good. On Wednesday, the Dollar bottomed out at 78.94... gold is starting to slide, dipping slightly toward $1700. It could potentially hit a floor around the 75-day moving average near $1680.

http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=$GOLD&p=D&yr=0&mn=3&dy=0&id=p08850441562

If that 75-day MA doesn't hold, we're looking at the 200-day MA in a few days—roughly $1665. That’s the worst-case scenario, though hitting $1620 is a stretch. Basically, we're looking at a minimum of $1700 and a maximum drop to $1620.

All in all, this is just the expected correction to reset the sentiment before we move higher.

The actual buying opportunity will arrive when the usual crowd shows up on the forums crying that gold is dead. 😉
