Why on earth would anyone think that? 😢

Exactly🙂

So, I'm supposed to start getting some kind of physical activity going next week, I guess. Does anyone have recommendations on what's actually best for toning things up? I'm trying to fill in those spots that seem to have disappeared lately... also, maybe some diet advice? (Sean Gonzalez95?)
Thanks a bunch😍

If you really want to tone up your legs and thighs, stick to cycling, skating, or hitting the pool instead.

thanks😉
I was mostly thinking about choosing between hitting the gym, doing Pilates, or maybe an aerobics class... all those things you mentioned are easy enough to do whenever I feel like it, but I think I need a set schedule if I actually want to get anything done. It’s like I have to force myself to show up, you know? I know... I can be pretty lazy sometimes
And as for that high-heel dance thing👍

I mean, I know, but honestly, what am I going to do until summer? I can't really hit the pool because I have to wear this brace, and from what I've heard, the conditions aren't exactly great anyway. Plus, once summer actually rolls around, my schedule is such a mess that I'll just be stuck at home in the evenings... though, I guess I could always try for a night swim.😁

Look, it’s not that deep. Just skip the elevators. When you’re hitting the stairs, walk on your toes—throw in some squats too. Just do them for 20 minutes every five days while you're bingeing some show on Netflix or whatever.
And she’ll come out of there in heels, ready to dance 👍
It's not like I'm forcing anyone to do anything—you just bake it into your routine until it becomes second nature.

I don't have an elevator, and I live on the sixth floor, but I used to go out to dance every single weekend and hit those ab classes too... so I guess I’m also prone to gaining weight. Even with all that, I stay around 125-130 lbs because I don't touch sweets, I rarely eat dinner, and I don't really eat huge portions... (man, imagine if I didn't do all that) but then after a while, I just totally lose it and end up devouring an entire tray of breakfast burritos.😁

Look, your body isn't exactly thrilled with that kind of "on and off" eating habit 😁 It just leads to massive water retention—especially if you're prone to that sort of thing.
For me, I have to be precise—like, almost weighing everything out to the gram. Not too much, not too little, just a solid balance of high-quality stuff and minimal junk. It’s a struggle these days with all the processed crap out there, but it actually works.

By the way, that lethargy? It’s usually about the quality of what you're eating, not the amount. It's the *type* of food that gets you. My trainer used to tell me that nutrition is 80% of the battle; the gym is just the remaining 20%.

As for the stairs and staying active—I don't know, I've been a fast walker my whole life, basically power-walking through everything, and my legs have always been my strongest feature—even back when I was at my heaviest. I'm betting that's just from all those flights of stairs I've crushed over the years. 😁

I was actually thinking more about choosing between hitting the gym, doing Pilates, or an aerobics class...

In that case, just go for a spin class.

Also, I heard that tapping your nail against your seat—you know, that nervous little fidgeting? Apparently, it’s great for your thighs.
I've started getting pretty twitchy during meetings lately, haha.

And how long am I stuck wearing the compression garment during recovery?

I’ve been dealing with cellulite since preschool—it’s been a lifelong struggle. I’m not even overweight; I’ve maybe got an extra 10 pounds on me, but it all settles right in my hips and glutes. I tried dieting once and lost weight everywhere else, but my thighs stayed exactly the same while my arms and chest just disappeared.😢 So, yeah, liposuction is always on my mind.

Where did you go for your lipo? Is the pain actually manageable? And one more thing—what’s the verdict on the cellulite coming back in those same spots?

I’ve been low-key thinking about getting liposuction for a few years now, but honestly, I’m a bit spooked—the anesthesia, the recovery pain... you name it. I’ve got that pear shape, too, and even though I’ve been hitting the gym pretty consistently, it doesn't help much. My legs are definitely firmer, but when it comes to cellulite? Working out does absolutely nothing for me. Every year before summer hits, I drop a ton of cash on aesthetician treatments, but it’s just a temporary fix. By Christmas, I'm right back where I started.
BTW, I wanted to ask how long the procedure actually took, when you were able to head home, and if there are any major risks involved?

So, there’s that whole issue with what people call "jockey pants."
With him, honestly, it looks pretty terrible, and it seems like there aren't really any other fixes besides cosmetic surgery.
I remember catching this segment on CNN about it once.
And if you ask me, any girl who decides to go under the knife back then 👍

So, since they worked on my hips, knees, and thighs, I was under some kind of local anesthesia—though from what I gathered, it’s more like a weird middle ground between local and general, just this strange state of consciousness. Right after the two-hour surgery, I felt pretty out of it, though nothing really hurt. I had to get up to use the bathroom all night with my boyfriend's help, but by morning, I could manage on my own. I saw the doctor for a checkup that same day and then just headed home. I usually have a pretty low pain tolerance, but honestly, it barely hurt at all, especially since I was taking painkillers. For the first couple of days, it only stung when I was sitting or lying down, but today—ten days later—even that's gone. As for complications, I know things like blood clots can happen with any surgery, but... I guess I'm an optimist!
I have to wear a compression garment every day for about six weeks. If you're asking me if I'd do it all over again, the answer is YES. It wasn't scary or traumatic at all. Regarding work, I took a week off for vacation, though I suppose some people braver than me might be able to head back after just three days! They say cellulite doesn't come back because they actually removed those fat cells through this process... I'd like to believe them...
The doctor told me the final results won't show up for a few months. I can't wait, but I'm already so happy with these new curves and this new butt (not that I'm the hottest person in the world, but I feel beautiful to myself 😍)... and if people are allowed to post photos here, once these bruises fade, I'll post some before and after shots
🙂

Carol Harris64 said:Spinning. I guess that's what we're doing now. Just spinning. It feels like everything is just sort of circling the drain lately, or maybe just circling itself. I don't know. Maybe it's just me. Everything feels a bit dizzying if you look at it too long. Anyway.
I don't know what they call it here in America... or is it the same? I guess.

I was just scrolling through spinning.com earlier... I guess it's one of those sites you stumble upon when you have too much time on your hands. It’s mostly just industry news and stuff about the music business in the States, which can be pretty hit or miss depending on what you're looking for. Maybe it's worth a look if you care about how the big labels in New York or LA are moving, but honestly, most of it feels like background noise to me. Just some random reading I picked up while I was killing time.

Thanks.😍
I mean, I don't think that actually exists in the States, honestly. Not that I've ever heard anything about it, anyway. Maybe I just missed it.

come on, just post the picture🙏

...a friend of mine had laser lipo done by someone she knows and she’s totally miserable with the results
honestly, at this point, I don't even know who to trust, but I guess that's just how it goes with surgery—it works for some people and fails for others☕

Quick question—did you have to get any testing done outside the hospital before they operated? If so, what kind of stuff were we talking about?
I’d also love to see some before and after shots if you’re down to share.🙂
