It's clearly stated right there in the test instructions. Honestly, I’d also strongly suggest she just goes see a gynecologist to be safe. 😁

Alright, let's get this show on the road! 😁😁😁 Seriously though, what's the deal with the prices? Can anyone give me the lowdown on that post above?

Ashley Lewis68 said:Has anyone here actually been to see Dr. Džundžev? He has an office in New York City, over in vrbik, and looking at his website, he seems to have all the latest tech and everything. Still, I’d love a first-hand recommendation if possible... if anyone's been there, thanks!

I've actually been to see him myself. He's a younger doctor, probably around 35, very easy to talk to, and honestly, I think he knows his stuff. He has such a light touch—he's really quick and you don't feel a thing, which is a huge relief because my previous dentist basically destroyed my teeth.
He even made sure to take the time to explain everything clearly to me, even though some Japanese or Chinese officials from the embassy showed up in the waiting room and were practically blocking off the whole street with their security detail. I'm happy with everything, though I guess if I had to pick a downside, he didn't find the time to grab a coffee with me.
I went to him based on a colleague's suggestion, and the whole process took just about a week (I had some crowns put on and swapped out those old black fillings for white ones), and now they look absolutely brilliant and beautiful.
From what I heard before I went in, he gets a lot of patients through CBS, so he must be doing something right!

A solid dentist? Queens would be my pick.

Honestly, if you want a great gynecologist in Chicago, Dr. Eljuga is your best bet—and his wife is absolutely top-tier at what she does, too. I’ve had such a wonderful experience there; I actually went because someone recommended them to me.
It's the Eljuga clinic over on Bukovački (right in the middle of the street, though I can't recall the exact building number)
Anyway, I highly recommend them, even if they aren't exactly in the neighborhood you were originally looking at.

Does anyone have a solid dentist recommendation in Aurora? Ideally someone who takes Blue Cross Blue Shield 😁

Sophia Perez79 said:That dentist from the Jurišićev area actually turned out to be perfectly fine; just ignore what I wrote earlier. He’s a good doctor, he just isn't exactly charming, and he tends to "overlook" things because he's always in a rush. But fundamentally, once he starts working on a tooth, he does a great job. Plus, he really doesn't pull teeth unless absolutely necessary, which is a rare find! His waiting room is always packed, but I’d recommend him!

After all that trash-talking about this dentist, the one from Jurišićev should probably just forget the whole idea that he messed up your teeth and that you haven't been happy with his work for months. Look, you were the one criticizing him, not us—but clearly, he saw right through you and played it cool, and now suddenly he’s the absolute best. You need to stay firm. My own dentist doesn't even wash his hands between patients and watches football on TV while he's still grinding away in my mouth. And yeah, his office is slammed too, mostly because he takes Medicare. Personally, I don't go to him anymore because he fills my cavities without properly fixing them first, even though his office is right next to mine in Benkovac. I'm not trashing him, though; at the end of the day, every patient decides for themselves where they want to go.

help needed... neurosurgeon advice...
So, here’s the situation... my mom has an impacted wisdom tooth in her lower jaw. She already went through one unsuccessful surgery at the Chicago Bulls hospital, but the doctor didn't quite get it right, so she needs a second procedure. To make a long story short... I'm looking for a highly recommended neurosurgeon and/or an orthopedic specialist who practices at a major university hospital or somewhere else in Chicago (private clinics are fine too)... I've heard that Dr. Kovac from Queens is excellent... Please, if you could help me out... any and all opinions would be greatly appreciated...

A good dentist? Stick to Queens.

The best OB-GYN in Chicago is definitely Silva Babić!

I can't say enough good things about this wonderful woman.
She really takes the time to focus on you and explains everything in detail—which is great because I always have a million questions. 😁
She’s incredibly skilled, totally dedicated, and just a pleasure to work with. She fixed issues I’d been dealing with for years due to previous doctors being careless or inexperienced.

I know this from firsthand experience, though I've heard Puvačić-Solomun (over at DZ Kruge, she takes Medicare) is also excellent, but I think her practice is full right now.

I don't quite get why you'd go to Queens for a dentist but Brooklyn for a gynecologist.

For a dentist in Brooklyn, I highly recommend Dr. Ivan Strukan.
He might seem a little laid-back, almost like he's rushing through it, but honestly, he’s a pro. You’ll look at his work afterward and be pleasantly surprised by how perfect everything turned out. Highly recommended...👍

A few people brought up New York City hospitals and Krešimir Kostović. Can anyone point me in his direction... I'm looking for some honest feedback on what to expect and what the costs look like, because that's my main concern...

As for Kaliterna—no chance. After everything that’s come out in this thread, I wouldn't step foot in Poliderm again if my life depended on it. Thanks to everyone who spoke up here; you really opened our eyes... That guy just preys on people when they're at their lowest. I know exactly what it’s like living with acne, and I get that desperate urge to just make it go away. That’s exactly when people like Kaliterna swoop in...

I went to Nola Clinic for sclerotherapy with Dr. Kostović and it was actually great... the price was reasonable too... $133 I heard about that treatment through a friend who went to see him at Šalat for facial capillary laser therapy. She was absolutely thrilled with the results... Now they have lasers over at Nola Clinic, and dr. Kostović works there in the afternoons. I’m not sure if they offer acne laser treatments specifically, but here is the number for the clinic so you can check. It's 46-75-333, located right on the corner of Vukovarska and Heinzlova—really high-end setup, about 6,000 square feet, and the staff is great...
Well, I hope that helped you out a little bit...

It’s basically a dental practice that focuses on things like cosmetic dentistry. Since my teeth aren't exactly my best feature and I've been wanting a better smile, I was thinking about going in for some "corrections."
Has anyone here actually gone through with it yet?

I really want to shout out this dentist who uses top-tier, cutting-edge tech—but honestly, his prices are like half what you’d pay in downtown New York City. His clinic is right at the edge of Aurora (about a 20-minute drive from the city via the beltway). Yeah, I know, it's a bit of a trek—but seriously, once you factor in the quality and how much you save, spending a little extra on gas is totally worth it. He uses stuff like Healozone (which kills cavities painlessly), laser detection to catch issues early, and that Zoom whitening everyone in Hollywood uses...

What I love most is that even though he dropped over $200,000 on high-end equipment, he didn't hike up his prices. Plus, he's constantly chatting with global dental experts online and flying all over the world for seminars just to stay ahead of the curve—yet he’s super chill, stays humble, and always takes the time to walk you through everything so you aren't left in the dark. 👍

The clinic is called

Thanks. I was asking about the dentist for a friend; Queens works for her, but Brooklyn is better for me.🙂

I can personally vouch for her—highly recommend. After dealing with some pretty rough issues over the last few years, she handled everything with total expertise and serious patience.👍

Can anyone recommend a solid dentist in San Diego? I don't mind going private, but the only thing that matters to me is finding someone who actually knows what they're doing. Most dentists I've seen have absolutely trashed my teeth, so I'm being extremely careful about this one!

Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone could recommend a solid dermatologist who specializes in hair issues? I visited a clinic in Manhattan about two years ago, but the doctor there just gave me a diagnosis and prescribed some over-the-counter shampoo, even though I told her I’d already tried it without any luck. Recently, I had a consultation at a pharmacy where they did a scalp analysis, and it turns out my hair roots are actually twice as thin as the hair shafts themselves—they really should be thicker and more robust. The woman performing the checkup didn't try to push any of those promotional shampoos on me; instead, she sent me straight to a doctor because she believes this is an internal issue. I really don't want to find myself in another situation where I have to tell a dermatologist which specific tests I want to undergo, so I’m hoping you all can point me toward someone reliable. I’m open to private practice, provided it isn't outrageously expensive. I checked with the Nola Clinic, but their consultation fee is around $400-$200, which is just way too much for me right now. Thanks!

Does anyone know the rates for an appointment with Dr. Silva Babić? From what I've gathered, she runs a private practice and doesn't accept Medicare. Also, how far in advance do I need to get on her schedule?
