I just wanted to say thanks to everyone 🙂—you guys have been absolutely incredible. Now comes the tough part: I have to sit down and actually decide which of these options is the best fit... honestly, that might be the hardest part of this whole process. :P

Hello,
I am currently on the hunt for a sound card compatible with a PCI-X 133 slot—does anyone happen to know where I might track one down? I've already scoured eBay, but it seems to be a dead end there.

Maybe in some museum somewhere. 😁 I wouldn't even go so far as to say those things actually exist—I mean, audio cards don't really need that much bandwidth anyway. Those types of ports were mostly reserved for old-school SCSI adapters or maybe some video capture cards where you actually needed massive data throughput. Just shove a standard PCI card into that slot instead.
