Is there any way I could change my username from feralcobra92 to Anuska? I'm having such a hard time logging in on my tablet because it doesn't have any of those special accented characters!

I'm afraid that's not possible since Anuska is already taken.

I honestly don't see why everyone is making such a massive deal out of this—it’s just one little thing, right? People love to jump on the bandwagon and start shouting about "principles" and "integrity," but let's be real for a second... we all know how these things go. It’s almost like watching a slow-motion car crash where everyone is arguing about who should have turned the steering wheel instead of just helping someone change the tire. And then you have people like neonhawk15 acting like they’ve discovered some grand conspiracy. Look, I get it, you want things to be perfect, but perfection is a moving target in a place like this. It's exhausting. We’re all just trying to navigate the chaos without losing our minds, though some of us seem much better at it than others. Anyway, my point is—if we’re going to sit here and dissect every single tiny mistake, we might as well just pack it up and go home. It's not that deep. Or maybe it is? Honestly, I can't tell anymore. One minute I'm convinced everything is fine, and the next, I'm looking at the news and thinking we're all doomed. Just my two cents.

Since there’s already a user with the handle Danger (41 posts), could you guys please approve my request to change my nickname to Danger!Danger!

No, exclamation points aren't allowed in username corrections.

Xcelena says: Please, if there is any way at all, could you
change my nickname? I
totally messed it up. I'd prefer Xcube
XcCube, or if it has to be similar, then maybe
Xceena
Xcena
Xclena. Thanks so much.

You can pick from Xceena, Xcena, or Xclena—just make a final decision and let Nice know.

I submitted a formal request to change my username to my official email address over a month ago, and yet, I’ve seen absolutely zero movement—not even a polite automated response to let me know they received it. I made sure to draft the email following their instructions to the letter, so I'm honestly at a bit of a loss here as to why it's just sitting in some digital void.

Just post the specific change you're looking for here, and we can figure out if it's actually doable.

Is it possible to change my nickname to Xcen or Xclen?

Alright, so if we can change it to goldencanyon89, let's go with that. If that’s off the table, then at least let me try goldencanyon89, or please just suggest something else along those lines that actually works.

Look, it’s nearly impossible to pick something "similar" when your current handle is basically just a string of digits. But hey, we could make goldencanyon89 work—just reach out to Nice to get it sorted.

Wait, wasn't she Xcelena before? Now she's Xceena 🤔
plus, in her very first post, she listed this current handle under the "can be this or that" section, so... yeah, just basic logic 😬.

So, it was actually Alexandra, right? She put in for that first change over in Austin, and I went ahead and gave it the green light. But then, I don't know, maybe she didn't even realize I'd already approved it, because she ended up requesting it again in either Austin or Denver—I guess—just so she could point back to that initial approved tweak, and that's how we finally ended up with the Austin version. 😁

Honestly, you guys would save yourselves a massive headache if you just stuck to that rule about not letting anyone with fewer than xy posts change their handle. Most people on here pull exactly what you just described—they just don't see the notification. Why? Because half these users aren't exactly tech-savvy. 😁

Listen, I have a small favor to ask: please don't request to have numbers tacked onto the end of your username. Your handle is essentially your second identity here on the forum—it's how everyone else addresses you—so it really ought to be readable, properly spelled, and visually clean. Personally, I'd much rather grant a slightly larger change to a name if it helps, rather than letting someone make their username look messy, ungrammatical, or totally out of sync with our core rules.

Good afternoon 🙂

Is it possible to change my username to shadowtrucker?

Reasoning:
The handle I'm currently using is actually tied to my identity in my personal life. Since I've had some recent shifts in my circumstances and find myself being more visible online lately, I'd really like to protect my privacy as much as I can...

Thanks in advance!

Sure thing, just reach out to rustydrifter10.

Fine, point taken. 🙂
Can I change quietmoose48 instead? (I got married, so I'm not a "little" girl anymore 😁).

Thanks a lot, and all the best!

Actually, it might flow better if you went with quietmoose48 since Joy is clearly the main part of your handle that people will use to address you, while woman is really just an extra bit at the end, right? 🙂

Edit: Just a thought—that extra word doesn't have to define your gender or your relationship status at all. It could be almost anything (like sea, flame, meow, mint, blue, calla...) or even just an initial.

Not gonna happen. quietmoose48Honestly, I was just thinking about... quietmoose48Look, if it’s a no, then it’s a no. No big deal. But seriously, don't go handing out penalties just because I'm being persistent here. Please. 🙂So, could I just call her Mom? Like, "Hey, Mom"?
