It’s just the same old nonsense... and then Prince heads out somewhere around 3:30 AM and suddenly the world feels like a slightly less miserable place. 😁

Facelift
I listened to Tom Waits so much back in the day that he’s practically boring me now. He's played out. I forced myself through his discography for years—pretty much every single phase, from the old classics to the experimental stuff from the last couple of decades.
My only real motivation for learning how to play was so I could tackle his classics by myself and belt out those lyrics. 😁

Here we have a look at the early stages of what eventually became a legendary singer-songwriter.

I honestly used to fantasize about learning how to play an instrument just so I could sit there by myself, play his classics, and scream the lyrics at the top of my lungs. 😁
That happens with a lot of music, really. You overplay it until the magic just evaporates, so you have to be careful about how much you consume. That's how I handle certain artists.

I honestly can't wrap my head around how you could listen to one person or one specific thing so obsessively that it actually starts to feel tedious.
I’ve definitely had those periods—those intense phases where I’d listen to nothing but certain bands or a very specific genre, period. It was all or nothing. Once I hit that point of total saturation, I’d pivot to something completely different, though I always seemed to drift back to the original sound eventually.

Tell me I'm not crazy, isn't this just one of those old-school, magically great records...
😍
plus the whole album just gets better and better the more you spin it.
definitely one of the highlights from last (amazing) year...
man, she's just such a cool woman. 😍

Happy Saint Patrick's Day
Saint Patrick used to be celebrated in greasy, smoke-filled American pubs with endless rounds of beer... now this miserable situation is stripping those good times away from us... 😁
The spotted, drunken red-haired Irish fairies were flirting, chasing leprechauns away from their pots of gold.......... 😢

Sellafield 2 will release The same amount of radioactivity into The environment as Chernobyl every 4.5 years.
A single nuclear bomb requires just 1.5 KG of plutonium.

Exposure to Krypton 85 alone leads to death and skin cancer.....
And even after hearing about skin cancer—people are still out here celebrating like idiots.... 😁
For those who don't want to sit through a few minutes of an intro, the real heavy stuff starts right here. You're welcome. 😉
