I remember this one tank battle right at the start where the Americans lose four tanks even though they had five against one, and somehow, thanks to this incredible captain—Warlord or whatever his name was, played by Brad Pitt—they actually manage to take down that German Tiger tank.
That’s exactly what I was worried about, but honestly, it doesn't descend into that ridiculous, over-the-top Hollywood exaggeration all the way through to the final act, you know, the part with the SS troops.

And you're acting like you were in Good Will Hunting.

Affleck is basically a god, and his take on Batman will undoubtedly be the finest we've seen yet. For starters, he’s actually the only one who looks the part...☕

Wardaddy. And yeah, there's basically just one German tank fighting in the whole movie.

There's also that decent one, Stolen Summer.
Alright, look—those were the early days. Back then, he actually had potential as an actor, before he basically sabotaged his own career by jumping into those mindless roles and total cinematic disasters like Gigli or Daredevil.

Look, Gone Girl is definitely Fincher's masterpiece,
The Town is just a decent little Affleck flick,
but his Gone Baby Gone? That's some next-level stuff.🙏 🙏 🙏

Those movies were total flops for me.
👍
The Maze Runner was a dud too.
Interstellar feels way too sappy. I can't stand that kind of melodrama, even if those films always seem to kill it at the box office. Still, I wouldn't be surprised if it's actually decent.
I'm skipping Fury Road because I'll probably walk out deaf.

I mean, I really hope so, even though Nolan and Bale set the bar incredibly high, but man, I am just praying this turns out to be an absolute bloodbath.

Gone Girl is a masterfully crafted film, though I have to admit it’s based on a fairly mediocre novel; from what I gathered while reading, the excitement just seemed to drain away with every passing page.
The ending is brilliant—it feels real, reflecting how life always hangs in this state of unresolved ambiguity, much like being trapped in a constant Sisyphus-like struggle...
Fincher really amplified those themes on screen, and the acting is nothing short of visceral. Even Ben Affleck, whom I’ve always viewed with a certain degree of skepticism, delivers something powerful here. It’s the kind of movie that leaves a mark on you, whether you want it to or not, especially with all that tabloid noise surrounding their personal lives and various affairs.
As for Interstellar, I’m sitting here waiting for it like people wait for the new iPhone release—with an almost desperate, physical sort of anticipation...

Oh, absolutely. I’m just sitting here waiting for the day when the streaming services finally start leaking all these masterpieces... we have such an incredible lineup hitting our screens soon. I'm talking about heavy hitters like *Birdman*, *The Imitation Game*, *Nightcrawler*, *Whiplash*, and *Foxcatcher*...

I was thinking we might finally sit down and watch Interstellar, but my wife isn't having it... she’s been far too talkative lately, which I suppose is just one of those things about getting older, these wild years...

Is she really already sixteen? 🤔

Twelve... that's when they truly become dangerous...

I might check out Nolan's new one (even though he keeps nagging me about it not being another Gravity 👎), but honestly, I'm not dropping a dime on this Fury or Brad Pitt flick 😬
The people involved seem decent enough, though—reading the plot summary, it actually looks like a pretty solid way to kill some time while trying to pick up a date. But man, that IMDb rating, even if it’s totally irrelevant, is 😲 and it’s barely even hit theaters yet

I honestly have no idea what you all are talking about; this year's Planet of the Apes was easily the best film I've seen in a theater in the last two or three years.
