As for Homeland, that first season is a massive peak. It’s rare to see a drama get binge-watched like that in one go, but man, they really dragged the second season out forever. By the third season, you’ll probably just watch the pilot and realize it's totally lost its way 🤷

I recently started watching BoJack Horseman, and honestly, what a masterpiece 🙏

I actually finished it a few days ago. It’s incredible. 👍

Has anyone else been watching Pasion de and caught that little scene with Timmy sipping on a martini? 🙏

Noah Roberts46 said:Taboo is total garbage, plain and simple. Personally, I think Game of Thrones is actually better this season than usual; it's evolved into this heavy but entertaining kind of trash, at least they aren't dragging things out forever like they used to. Narcos is great, Fargo is great, even if that last season felt a bit lackluster.

Are you kidding me? A show where Tom Hardy eats a hard-boiled egg in one single bite can't possibly be bad. One damn bite, man. Seriously. 😁

neonfalcon16 said:Absolutely. I can still see it all perfectly. The harpoon through the heart, the radio in the bathroom... even that whole bit about being trapped in a coffin. 😍

Oh man, if I remember right, Gilda ended up in jail and messed with this old doctor. He helped her escape and they hid out at his cabin, where she told him to hop in the tub while she went to grab something—then she just shoved the radio in after him. 🙏 Then she went looking for the cash and ended up finding it tucked inside her mattress. 🙏

That was probably the first soap opera where you could actually believe the romance was real. Back in the day, nothing ever got missed during those afternoon marathons.

Then you had the major networks blasting shows like Pasion de, Norma, Ximena, and Sara—you know, that whole mess with three sisters getting tangled up with three brothers. After that, nov kreniti hit the airwaves, featuring that powerhouse duo Saul Lisazo and Gabriel, and don't even get me started on the legendary uklet Mariana. Pure gold.

But honestly? čarolija iznad sav still takes the cake. Just that Life clinic vibe and that killer opening theme. 😍

Yeah, Magic was something else. I basically lived that show—I’d watch it normally on Monday nights, catch the recording around lunchtime on Tuesday, and then spend Saturday mornings rewatching the whole week's worth of episodes. I ended up seeing every single episode three times. 🙏

Exactly. The first one is top-tier.

When it comes to drama, I guess the first season of The Wire is pretty much top-tier. Everything after that? Not worth mentioning.

Between Tabitha and that annoying little blonde—Charity, I think her name was—there’s gotta be over a thousand episodes if I'm counting right. 🙏

Honestly, until now, I genuinely thought Americans didn't even watch soap operas. 😁

If you define a soap opera as an epic saga centered on the clash between good and evil, filled with beautifully nuanced characters, sweeping romances, and those little vignettes from everyday life that manage to be both hilarious and deeply instructive, then yes, I suppose we could call Strast Sapunica a soap opera.

if that's how we're playing it, then I guess Buffy (<3) is just another soap opera

Sheridan recruits the Los Angeles Lakers' Robert Horry to help her teach Luis a lesson. Robert is astonished by Sheridan's determination to learn basketball in order to show up Luis. Driven by a need to settle the score after Luis humiliated her, Sheridan actually starts making real progress on the court. When Luis finally shows up at the gym, Sheridan desperately tries to hide Robert.

....

While Robert Horry hides fra Luis, Sheridan scrambles to come up with an excuse for being at the gym. Sheridan feels guilty When Luis apologizes for Making Her look bad and offers to teach her the game so she can coach a girls' team. For a brief moment, they actually manage to lower their defenses, but a simple misunderstanding triggers yet another verbal sparring match. In a fit of frustration, Sheridan angrily challenges Luis to a rematch....

....

Luis is stunned that Sheridan actually managed to beat him. Hank informs Sheridan How Luis made many personal sacrifices to support his family, which causes Sheridan to soften toward him. CRANE feels even worse When Luis presents Her with a special gift. However, the peace is short-lived; Luis catches Sheridan and becomes absolutely incensed.

What a soap opera. Seriously.

Hank informs Sheridan How Luis made many personal sacrifices to support his family. Sheridan softens.

What kind of brain-dead post is even circulating on Facebook right now? Imagine being such a privileged brat that you actually call an Uber just to get driven across town so you can "immerse" yourself in the local language of the country you just moved to. 🙏

Good grief, honestly, it’s no wonder Europe is going straight down the drain.
