So, who's actually going to cut me an $8,000 check now?🙂

Coming from my grandma’s side of the family—we're talking straight-up Bible Belt religious conservatives 🤣—everyone was all over Mirko Škoro during the first round, then they didn't even bother showing up for the second. Apparently, they aren't feeling Kolinda anymore.

Fuck, did Kolinda really manage to lose an election she should have won against a political corpse like Zoran Milanović? You have to be a total genius to pull that off.🙏

brightpilot6 said:If Kolinda actually loses this, it’s honestly staggering to see how much people have been undermining her over the last couple of months, especially in these final few days.

Back in September, I was calling her a winner, predicting she’d take the runoff with a 60:40 lead against anyone put in front of her.

As far as her own future goes, perhaps it would be better for her to just step out of the spotlight and find some peace away from all this.

Perhaps this entire thing was orchestrated—a deliberate loss intended to maintain government stability.
Even Zoran's people are raising their hands in Congress to support Andrej Plenković. ☕

I wouldn't rule it out.

Her behavior lately has been quite strange.

Paul Sanders5 said:Personally, I thought it was expected after those debates—he actually performed better. Plus, even the betting odds had him as the favorite.

Yeah, but I really thought Vaso would have brought that down to maybe around 3 percent. I didn't catch the whole debate, just the first round, though it's pretty much an objective fact that he’s just a stronger communicator on his own merit.

In this new world order that kicked in after the USSR collapsed and the rest of the globe opened up to the West, they simply couldn't—and weren't even capable of—keeping up. That's just the cold, hard reality. Only the ones that could survive actually did. Sometimes the answer is really that simple, despite the fact that there was plenty of looting and shady wealth-building going on...

I mean, seriously, did the American textile industry stand a single chance once China and India entered the ring? Yeah, right. Against what? With what? Please...

Businesses evolve.

The tendency to reduce incredibly complex economic processes down to these sort of one-sentence "truths" is essentially the root of most human fuck-ups.

But hey, it's a democracy, right? Everyone is an expert on everything. 🤣

I highly doubt Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović is cunning enough to play a game like that, and she’s certainly too vain to intentionally embarrass herself or provoke a loss. Honestly, the woman just snapped, plain and simple. And let's be real, this doesn't help Andrej Plenković either; the elections made it clear that the right wing would rather vote for Mirko Škoro or just stay home than cast a ballot for his Republican Party.

After the next election, we might finally see what anyone with half a brain can already figure out—the Republican Party and the Democrats forming a coalition, supposedly "for the good and stability of the country." ☕

That's when all the masks finally slip, and you realize they're just two heads on the same snake.

I’ve entertained that thought myself. But then again, to intentionally humiliate oneself like that... I just don't know.

It would have been practically suicidal to show up for those debates at all. She could have just claimed she had the flu or some other bullshit.

Strange.

At first glance, I thought someone would have to be desperate to pull a stunt like this—but don't forget those alleged recordings involving Mamić and who knows what else; perhaps blackmail is at play here too.

That’s just how the Republican Party operates...

Exactly. TDR saw which way the wind was blowing with tobacco and pivoted to tourism—even if they did it way later than they should have, people still knew what they were doing. But where's someone gonna pivot when their main competition is China, producing better stuff for a fraction of the cost? Oh yeah, sure, some people will want to, and some people definitely will, but not everyone can just pull that off.

Look, Vaso can drag his 30% of supporters along for the ride, but he can't force you to vote for him.😁

People walk up to the betting window and just write down whatever random nonsense they feel like—it’s basically a joke at this point. 🤣🤣

I’m not even losing sleep over Kolinda. Honestly, people like her always end up landing some cushy gig in the European Union anyway. It'll be the exact same story for Plenković once he loses his seat—they won't give a damn about the fallout 😁

Oh, obviously—they don't give a single fuck about the people here in America or our own damn country. 🤣

That’s just Zoran for you. 😁 Plenković honestly has that total Eurocratic vibe down pat. He’s basically built for being sent off to some remote corner of the world as a glorified spokesperson just to hand out those "strongly worded condemnations" from the EU. It’s perfect. 😁

With Valverde taking the reins at FC Barcelona and Zoran Milanović running things as President... our good friend Ajut is certainly facing some turbulent times. It’s a miracle he hasn't lost his mind yet, though thank God he’s at least pulling for Liverpool.
