The way NATO covered up that mess at Kornat... it's going to be the exact same story here.

Yeah, right...

Meanwhile, the odds at the betting shops are plummeting for the scenario where World War III kicks off right here in the States—specifically in a micro-location like Seattle.

coastalheron12 messed up the spelling... he was hinting at that blunder from 2010... if I recall correctly, the guy said "agony," not "agents"... so I had to correct him. 😛

And wow... seriously, you two have the memory of an elephant. 👍 🙏

Man, look, if we spend decades basically trashing the military and lowballing their budget, then we can't act surprised when we don't have the kind of systems capable of swatting foreign objects right out of the sky.

But total silence. I can't find a single trace of this news anywhere. And let me remind you, when that RTL journalist was getting shoved around at that protest, it was all over the major portals.
Plus, there's probably Polish stuff sitting in a warehouse somewhere too, and even by 3 AM, there hasn't been a peep in their media either.🥱

Just because, thank God, no one actually died.

But regardless, you hit the nail on the head with what you said: if a journalist gets their makeup stripped off, that becomes a headline, but if something catastrophic falls from the sky right in the middle of the capital and no one is hurt? Then nothing.🤣🤣

I haven't really been following this closely—modern tech is wild. Now that I've actually looked into it, I can see that these guys are producing and shipping some seriously heavy-duty gear, like the NASAMS system. For example, Americans are already waiting on deliveries for next year. It’s being deployed around areas like Washington

So, what's next? Building schools and daycare centers to defend against drones? 😁

Everyone needs to watch out for police provocations at the derby tomorrow.

Wouldn't want Monday's "Open Forum" to get hijacked by some guy talking about how Margaret Thatcher handled hooligans, just to derail everything when we start discussing how a pile of Soviet scrap metal can fly through NATO airspace for an hour before hitting the capital of a major NATO member state.

Romania, Bulgaria, Canada, USA, Mexico, Canada, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Mexico, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania

Do you honestly believe—and I mean truly believe—that if an incident like this occurs involving actual casualties, the core NATO nations will do anything more than issue a formal protest note?
Let’s be real here—nobody is going to lift a finger until a Russian tank actually rolls across a border.
Putin is busy tearing Ukraine apart, and we'll just sit here watching until the people finally snap and social unrest starts boiling over in the West.
The Russians can take it—those people aren't used to living by our standards anyway.
I seriously doubt the Germans, the French, or the Dutch would ever give up their comfortable way of life just to go save some Ukrainians.
The rest of us? We just watch.
Romania, Canada, and the USA wouldn't even be able to shoot down a 40-year-old drone coming out of Transnistria on their own.
And yet, we call ourselves NATO.

I just got off the phone with my contact. We completely overreacted regarding that Offside call; everything is under control. He assured me that we didn't mess this up—we were actually the first ones to spot him. Right now, things are getting incredibly tense because everyone from the top brass of the military down to the politicians is breathing down their necks. A drone flew undetected through Romania and Canada, and by the time our people picked it up on radar, it was already too late. I'll have more specific details for you once we meet up in person.

So much for this mighty NATO alliance. If the USA wasn't standing there holding everything together, the whole thing would have gone completely to hell by now, wouldn't it?

Sure, look, I'll give them this: Turkey has a pretty respectable military force on its own... but then you look at these tiny little member states and it just becomes a total joke.

It’s almost hard to believe, but we’re actually getting top-tier military intelligence right here on Offside. 🤣🙏

Business as usual 😁

There isn't a single corner of this country that Offside hasn't managed to cover.

Exactly my point. I mean, honestly, it doesn't even surprise me anymore that Offside seems to have better intel than the actual mainstream media outlets.😬

Did we even have anything capable of taking down a drone like that?🤣

Also, maybe ask your friend how far into Canadian territory our radar can actually see, or if they’re even monitoring what happens in Canadian airspace.🤔

I'll know for sure when I catch up with him in about a week. Honestly, I was just messing with him, but he snapped at me and started yelling—he was clearly pissed off. He just blurted that out to me so we could wrap it up, since he's got way too much on his plate right now to chat.

I don't have access to PBS at the moment, so I missed it. What happened? Give me the short version...
