Just start asking him direct questions; that's some old-school advice you can rely on.

If you're acting like a total wreck, either walk away now or sit tight and wait for the day he finally sees the light, realizes he actually wants a relationship, and understands that you are the woman of his dreams.

Or, if you aren't just playing games, go see a therapist for a few sessions.

I am truly sorry to hear things turned out this way, especially since there was no connection to begin with.

Wow... you really are just a saint, aren't you? A true, selfless altruist.

You know, people like that are practically extinct in this day and age, right?
You'd literally sacrifice your own chance at a relationship just to make sure he isn't sitting there all alone—how incredibly noble of you.

Hmm... you can only really draw that conclusion based on how he actually treats you.

Oh, I'm pretty sure about that... if he actually could, he would've kicked your butt a long time ago.

Where on earth did you hear that...

If you actually had any sense, you would’ve clocked all this within the first six months of being together, instead of dragging it out for four years just waiting for him to finally have an epiphany. ☕

So, what is it about you that's so great?

Wait, why isn't that living? If it works for him, why not?

I honestly find it hard to picture a guy where someone like you is actually his first choice—sorry, but I just can't see it happening.

It’s a shame he didn't find someone better. Personally, I'm just looking out for his best interests, so he can figure out the rest on his own.

Like, what exactly is so great about you?

You just keep looping back to the same points, and honestly, you aren't really making much sense in this debate.
In that department, you're maybe even worse than the average person, and we all know communication is basically everything for a solid relationship.😬

Honestly, you might need to look into switching therapists. Your last few posts have been lower than the level of a teenager who just watched his first three erotic movies.

I mean, seriously, what would even happen if you just walked away from him?

I just can't. I start feeling completely overwhelmed if we don't talk for three months and make plans to meet up. It honestly makes me feel physically ill.

Look, I hate to be the one to say it, but what you're going through isn't really about the group anymore; you'd probably get way more useful, practical advice by talking to a therapist in town.😉

And why is it always about saving him with you?
Maybe, just for once, try thinking about yourself?

Man, she’s just constantly focused on him and what's best for him.

She feels good when he's around, and I guess she thinks if he were just a little different, everything would be perfect. That’s just her mindset, I don't think there's anything selfish about it really.

It’s actually more about her, honestly. He’s kind of just the tool she uses to try and find her own happiness.

How can you even be sure he isn't seeing someone else behind your back?
And besides—there's always the risk that he might just fall head over heels for someone else tomorrow, and at that point, he probably won't even remember your name...
I haven't read every single word here, but based on what I have gathered, I suspect you aren't actually a priority in his life.
I really don't think you should waste your prime years on a guy like that.
It is honestly better to be alone than to settle for bad company.

Vec would only fall in love if he actually went looking for it. As far as I can tell, he’s never going to find anyone...
