Plus, it’s significantly more budget-friendly than the alternatives.
The Freezer 7 Pro does an absolutely fantastic job at handling the workload.

👋
Please don't laugh at me... 😂 👎
I was just wondering if it might be possible to overclock an NVIDIA GeForce FX 5900 from 400 MHz up to 520 MHz?

Now, please, I beg you, don't go laughing at me... 😂 👎
Is it even remotely possible to overclock an old NVIDIA GeForce FX 5900 from 400 up to 520 MHz...?! I mean, I know it sounds like a bit of a stretch, almost like trying to turn a sedan into a race car overnight, but I just can't help wondering if there's some hidden potential tucked away in that silicon...

That’s a tough one... honestly, it really is quite a challenge, so why don't you just give it a shot and see what happens?👍

I managed to push the core up to 510 MHz without any cooling, and I think I got the memory hitting 450...

And just how long is this supposed to remain stable before everything inevitably crashes again?

I’m currently running an NVIDIA GeForce FX 5900, and I’ve managed to push the clock speeds from 400 up to 480 MHz—or 390 to 460 MHz, depending on how much I'm pushing it. Honestly, it’s making a massive difference; I can finally crank just about every game up to max resolution and ultra settings without breaking a sweat. This card handles overclocking like a champ because it actually comes with its own dedicated fan, so it doesn't turn into a miniature space heater under load.

Are you seriously telling me you can run EVERYTHING on max settings?
Of course I can! Do people really think those guys rocking an 8800GT are any smarter than us, especially when we have the NVIDIA GeForce FX 5900 sitting right here at our disposal?

Yo. Quick question for you guys.
So here’s what I’m running:
dfi lanparty ut nf4 ultra-d---motherboard
amd athlon64 3500+ 2.2ghz@2.4ghz
nvidia geforce fx 5900 256 mb 1400/600
I bumped the cpu fsb from 200 up to 219. Just wondering if that's a good move or if I'm pushing it too hard. Can this chip take more, or should I back off? Also, how do I actually test if it's stable.

If wiredmarlin5 or anyone else mentions those Ninja Turtles...

I doubt a 12cm fan will fit on my motherboard, so forget the Big Typhoon.🤷 Is the Sears Tower passive?

Where can I check this? Can I use my own motherboard? It’s an ATX board, so the issue is the 12cm clearance. Not sure if it'll fit.

The case width is about 7.5 inches (+- 0.4). So, it’ll fit..

Some old beast from five years ago. I had an MSI 400W power supply in it.
Here’s a photo, if that helps.

Look, you've got The Sopranos and it fits fine...
Google it and see how wide that thing actually is compared to the Willis Tower.☕
