We could probably snag some Interpol tickets now that they've kind of lost their edge... Maybe they'll even play a few tracks from those first two albums.☕

Honestly, I wouldn't be at all surprised.
I suppose they’ve finally hit rock bottom enough to actually consider showing up at a smaller indie festival, if you can even call it that. Maybe they've just run out of steam, or perhaps they realized the big stadium tours aren't quite what they used to be, but I guess they're finally willing to play the smaller circuit. It's almost pathetic, really, though I can't say I'm entirely surprised.☕

If you actually love a band and have been listening to them forever, seeing them once isn't enough. One time doesn't cut it.
I saw U2 two days in a row and caught The Prodigy twice live, and I'm already waiting for Rammstein to tour again. I don't think I'll ever get tired of going to shows.
As for SOAD, they're starting that reunion tour soon. Serj was already at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, so maybe the whole band will show up there too. 😁

Interpol has played those smaller festivals before, but since we’re already talking about the big hitters—and let me remind you all for the millionth time, because they still absolutely crush it—we have Arcade Fire on the lineup! Plus, they're scheduled for the Hurricane/Southside fest in Germany from the 17th to the 19th, so maybe they could just extend their stay... who knows, right? Someone was actually telling me how insanely pricey it gets over there, but I totally blanked on 😳

I read somewhere that they’re pricey and kind of shady (maybe that was 🤔 commenting)... But honestly, I'd still love to catch them live.

😍😍 Oh yeah, probably impossible, unfortunately..
But if we're talking about impossible lineups 😁 : Manu Chao, Pearl Jam...
Though maybe Oasis could work.

Plus, they’re scheduled to be in Miami from the 17th to the 19th, so I suppose they could always just extend their stay... or maybe not? Someone was telling me how insanely expensive they are to book, though I seem to have forgotten 😳
There were talks ages ago about Arcade Fire performing in the US (maybe for an opening event at a major museum), but since the dates for that opening kept getting pushed back, I guess the whole thing just fell through, and in the meantime, their booking fees probably increased by about a hundred times. 😢
Personally, they are at the absolute top of my list; I would give anything to see or hear them live again. 😍
Though, I suppose watching or listening to Interpol without Carlos might actually make me a bit depressed, if I'm being honest.😳

That’s true enough. This whole thing regarding MSU is news to me, since they didn't exactly make a massive splash yesterday...
I’d really love to finally catch Alice Glass live. And honestly, those Interpol guys could come back too, seeing as they've already gone to hell...

I was just looking over the lineup for Miami, and honestly, it’s pretty underwhelming. I would have gladly paid triple the price if the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival had put together something like this... Not to mention heading over to Germany, which seems nearly impossible given how terrible the dates are set. 🤦 Just those final days of summer break and school...

Foo Fighters? Nirvana? Don't throw donuts at me—I might actually start getting my hopes up 😁

Honestly, I’m going this year no matter who’s playing—I'll just wander around and chill on some rocks, I don't care 😁 Last year I skipped because the lineup was pretty crappy, but I'm definitely hitting it up this time since it falls during some weekdays... might as well go and let my brain rot a little 😍
What am I hoping for? Hmm, first off, the ones I absolutely love—even if I’ve already seen them, I could watch them over and over again forever 🙂 Florence + The Machine, Kasabian, and Hurts are at the top of my list. As for people who might actually show up, maybe Hot Chip or Foo Fighters
Then, to keep us entertained in between, we could have Plan B, The xx, Biffy Clyro, Mumford & Sons, Chapel Club, The Killers, Drums, or even Gorillaz if they bring Foals 🙂 Stornoway, Delphic, Two Door Cinema Club, Vampire Weekend, Big Pink, Darwin Deez, We Are Scientists, Courteeners, Futureheads, Best Coast, Wombats, Mark Ronson, Naked and Famous, and some other random acts, like La Roux and Marina and the Diamonds. For the old school vibes, I guess we won't be getting together for Suede or Manic Street Preachers anymore
And hey, I wouldn't mind seeing some acts I don't even like that much, just out of curiosity—like how Carl Barât handles things solo without Petey, or Liam without Liam Gallagher, aka Beady Eye. Maybe even a Kelet imitator 😁
And finally, I want it to be a total spectacle—just to see what the local crowd makes of Coachella 🤣
Then I can happily die 😍

I really love these wishlists... It would be absolutely incredible if they could bring out at least two of these acts (maybe Coldplay and The xx, or perhaps Florence + The Machine, Plan B, Biffy Clyro, Mumford & Sons, or even Calexico...). If by some miracle they actually book Sigur Rós, I honestly wouldn't care if they paired them with the entire American pop scene, it wouldn't matter to me. I'll grab my ticket, head to the show, and just spend the rest of 2011 feeling exactly like this 🙂

That Was Us 🙂 🙂 🎉
