Hey, happy birthday to you, I almost let the day slip right past me! 😵

I really didn't feel like hunting you down just to leave a comment on this damn forum :trut:

Dead Carrot said:My top 3 music forum regulars I haven't crossed paths with yet:

1. dmj
2. houpi
3. Adam Moore

I'm pretty humble, so I'll happily take third place. Even if I get roasted for it later.

(I barely know anyone here—I actually spotted Wrong in his Pistols shirt today and felt awkward even saying hi... like, hey, I'm Adam Moore... uhm 😳 but whatever...)

electro cute said:(I don't really know many people on this forum, but I spotted Wronga wearing a Pistols shirt today, so I felt a bit awkward reaching out... kind of like, hey, I'm electro cute... uhm 😳 but whatever...)

I’ve actually run into him twice now, and both times I just felt awkward, mostly because I was worried he might be a handful if he had a few drinks in him; honestly, it felt like he was just some unpredictable force of nature out late at night.
But look, for what it's worth, I promise I'll say hello next time I see him—it's just rude not to, 😳 🙂 the guy is a total legend.

I'm heading out to his neck of the woods in about two hours, and I'm hoping to get a chance to do exactly what he does on my own terms. 🎉 🙂

I mean, I bet that comes from the Bronx area—anyway, you should reach out to him, he's actually a decent guy and a real gentleman who always shakes hands 🙂

The top 3 posters I haven't met yet:

1. spider
2. bue (ME being obnoxious when I'm drunk?! The only person who suffers from that is me the next morning. Reach out next time or you'll be dealing with the cops)
3. cody

David, it’s not a sandwich from Indianapolis. People in the Midwest say "sandwich" or "sub," depending on whether they grew up reading Matthews... 🙂

Electricité, we met back at the IEEE conference during Wilderness. I'm not saying I remember you, but we met... 👍 (H.?)

The top 3 proofs that Electricité is actually single:

3. unknown
2. unknown 😵
1. My high heel 🙏 🙏 🙏 I'll admit, that was a pretty great joke, even if I can't stand trashy humor and irony...

David, it’s not an "Osijek" thing. People in the Midwest say "sandwich" or "sub," depending on whether they grew up reading Mataković. 🙂

Adam Moore, we actually met at IEEE during Wilderness. I’m not saying I remember your face specifically, but we definitely crossed paths. 👍 (Right?)

Top 3 proofs that Adam Moore is actually single:

3. mongoloid
2. Rem Rem 😵
1. My High Heel 🙏 🙏 🙏 I gotta admit, that was a pretty hilarious list, even if I usually hate cheap irony

Man, all I remember is that girl and I were standing by the bar and some guy near us was shouting "play fertilizer!" Turns out that was basically you... but I don't recall us actually meeting. Honestly, I was soooo nervous that night, my memory is a bit fuzzy.
And honestly, mongoloid is my favorite Devo track, Rem Rem is the only Big Black song worth listening to (because it's soft), and My High Heel (which is my jam) is the only pop hit that doesn't suck. Not sure why anyone would think those are indicators of relationship status though. 😕

I don't really feel like making a list, but fine, here we go:

Give Blackie his due. 😘

Agreeing with Beau (ugh, saying that name out loud sounds like the noises you make right after you've burped but before you actually throw up) on the whole 'sengule' thing... honestly, that little sandwich shop back in suburban New Jersey called "Dar-Mar Sengule" is easily one of the best spots ever in its class. Though, if we're talking about top-tier legendary food joints, I guess that greasy spoon in NYC—you know, the one called "The Giraffe Beast"—might give it a run for its money. Or maybe not... I haven't been there.

A belated happy birthday to Houpi. 😘 (I can't remember which colorful smiley icon to use, and I really can't be bothered to click through the "More" menu...)

And congrats to Alex Trotter on "Mongoloid"... I found myself stumbling around drunk to that track again last night...

So yeah, that's pretty much it.

Oh, one more thing: I met a bunch of you guys yesterday, but I was pretty hammered. Usually, it takes me seeing someone five or six times before they actually stick in my brain, so don't be offended if I don't say hi next time or if I just stare at you blankly while you're trying to greet me...

That’s the truth. I have no interest in being postmodern. To me, the defining bands of the 21st century aren't Raw Art, they're The Replacements.

I occasionally find myself using the word "sengula," and I have this nagging feeling it might actually trace its roots back to Belgrade. I honestly can't say for sure. ☕

@ Kevin Chavez3 - You're never actually going to meet me. I'm not even a real person! 😉
