Jason Vaughn482 said:What dosage are you currently on? Because at 15 mg, I find it’s no longer enough to actually get me to sleep; I end up having to supplement with half a dose of Ambien just to function. Honestly, though, I’m terrified of increasing the dosage because I don't want to deal with the weight gain... for now, my thyroid levels are holding steady, even though they're only testing one marker instead of the three they used to check before.

I'm on 15, and it does the trick. But the second I stop, my sleep disappears. I can't tell if it's just a placebo effect at this point or what...

They checked all three of my hormone levels, and one of them is low, but my primary care doctor insists everything is totally fine. I spent way too much time falling down Google rabbit holes about it, and frankly, I couldn't disagree with the info I found more. 🙄

Whatever you do, please don't go Googling your symptoms; I made the mistake of doing just that once, and it sent me into a complete tailspin—I ended up convinced I had every rare condition imaginable. Now, I strictly limit my research to necessary things, like an ultrasound for my thyroid. For instance, I’ve actually had a small growth for eleven years now, but since it hasn't changed, I leave it be.

I was wondering if there are any other people here dealing with S&P Global who could reach out, because I’m starting to feel really overwhelmed and discouraged by my diagnosis 🙂
I would truly appreciate finding someone to talk to about this, maybe to share experiences regarding medications and side effects...

Also, one more thing—regarding those on this forum who take Calista—I’m currently on 15mg a day in the evening, and if I miss a dose, I can't even sleep. My doctor re-prescribed it, so I'm making sure to take it regularly now ☕

There are actually a few of us dealing with S&P Global on this board. There's also a dedicated thread for schizophrenia over in this subforum. 🙂
What specifically is on your mind?

Every little while I try to quit Calista because I'm convinced it's messing something up inside me. Then I spend two weeks suffering through insomnia and basically living like a zombie. Eventually, I just crawl back to the 15mg. Is this just what life is now?🙂

I get that Googling is a trap. It's just that my anxiety keeps spiking every time I think about all the potential new illnesses and disorders I've managed to diagnose in myself... 🙂

I’ve been on Calista for two years now; I started at 15 mg but recently cut my dose in half, yet sleep still remains an elusive ghost unless I supplement with some Ambien...
You really have to force yourself to stay away from those search engines—it’s the only way to find any peace of mind.

How exactly do you imagine you could have caused some sort of systemic failure within my biology? What specific catastrophe are you envisioning here? Please, spare me the melodrama; I certainly don't need you attempting to frighten me with such baseless theatrics.

Hey there,

I'm currently taking 60mg of Zeldox...

Has anyone else dealt with side effects from this, and if so, what have you been experiencing?

Thanks,

A friend of mine was complaining about that Calixta too—it totally trashes your hormones.
She was on it for about a year, and things just kept spiraling downhill. It got so bad she actually attempted suicide, and they had to completely overhaul her treatment while she was in the hospital.

Can anyone help me out with some mental health stuff? Not sure if it's a good idea to post all this details here on the forum, so maybe we could just move to DMs

I’m going to stop taking it immediately. Even though my thyroid levels are fine—since they had to remove one of them—my blood sugar and cholesterol are running a bit high, which could be related, but regardless, my overall health hasn't improved much from this stuff... though I will admit, it does help me drift off to sleep.

Does anyone know if Lexapro affects memory at all?
I'm staring down some major deadlines right now and I really need to focus on studying, so I'm wondering—is it better to skip my dose while I'm hitting the books, or what?

I’ve been trying to "taper off" Ellie over the last few days. My doctor and I finally decided it was time to move on.
So, I’m walking down the street today and suddenly get hit with this light dizziness—it just lasts for a few seconds, stops, then hits me again. Is this what people call brain zaps? I saw someone mentioning them online somewhere else.

Good day, everyone.
Just joining the group here regarding Ad ☺
taking Coaxil for 6 days... I feel like I'm in a complete fog.
I managed to scrape through yesterday, but now I'm feeling every single side effect imaginable—so I took 5 mg of Normabrel. I really want to avoid doing that as much as possible... and the worst part is that the side effects kick in about 2–3 hours after the pill hits.
For context, I'm on this because of anxiety and panic attacks that I just couldn't control anymore, no matter how hard I tried. My question is this: is anyone else taking Coaxil? Any experiences with this medication?

I just mean that every medication is a double-edged sword. It helps one thing, but it messes with another. :/
Calixta slows down your metabolism—probably by messing with thyroid hormones or something. Who knows. Unfortunately, I still can't function without it. And honestly, that’s what triggers the panic. How am I supposed to get off this stuff when I can't even sleep without it?

fadedbear92 said:You can—just don't use the Xanax for more than three weeks straight, otherwise you run the risk of getting hooked.

Thanks, though I’m not planning on taking it regularly—just occasionally. It just feels like it isn't doing anything. 🤷
I tried the 0.25mg dose, but it felt totally useless, like I hadn't even taken anything. 😕Is that dose just too weak? Would it be okay to take two at once? That would make it 0.5mg, right?

Week five on Zoloft. Current status:🤷 I honestly have no clue! I’m not even sure what the "right" feeling is supposed to be, so how am I meant to tell if it's actually working? Should I look into switching medications, or just hang in there a bit longer?

Are you taking it for depression? If that's the case, it really should have "lifted" you by now—you ought to be feeling more energy and less lethargy. I'm not sure what your specific diagnosis is, but I was on 5 mg, and it helped me immensely... plus, it cut my anxiety down by at least 70%.
