How's your sex life been lately?😉
Zoloft can definitely tank your libido.

If I have these kinds of thoughts for another two weeks, even the sanest person would lose it...
👎

I'm still a virgin,
and according to Freud, that’s exactly why I’m losing my mind.

You've got to be kidding me. How old are you anyway?

It's an F-32.3—that means a severe depressive episode with psychotic features. We're talking an acute crisis here.
Then there's F-33.3—severe recurrent depressive disorder with psychotic symptoms. That's the chronic phase of the illness.

So what about an F-32.2?

It seems to be a major depressive episode without any psychotic features.

My psychiatrist never actually mentioned that specific diagnosis to me, even though I’ve brought it up several times...

🤷

Thanks for the input. 🙂

Well, at least I haven't hit full-blown psychosis... yet. 😢

It’s right there in your medical records, plain as day..

You should probably include those details in that formal letter. Just list your full legal name along with your birth year.

It seems to me that lately, they tend to slap an F-code on someone just so they can maintain a certain level of control over how a patient is managed. I suppose you could call that a rather blunt approach, if you ask me.
But, if it provides you with some sense of mental stability—well, maybe don't worry too much about the technicalities of the F-codes. 😉

Just stick to the medication, and things should start looking up. 🙂

I don't have any official medical records.🤷
After my first session, she told me my main issue was
separation anxiety,
and that my depression was just a byproduct of that anxiety and being away from my parents.

I was convinced—well, terrified, actually—that I was developing schizophrenia,
so at my request, she referred me to another psychiatrist. He wrote up a
two-page summary of his opinion, and he didn't even mention that F-35 thing
anywhere in there. He just confirmed exactly what she had told me.

Man, I was actually worried for a second there that I’d end up behind bars for being a predator.😂🤣

Wait, how long has it been since you lived with your parents? Are you away at college? Why aren't you visiting them more often? I'm a little confused.😕🤷

No, I didn't mean physical distance—I meant feeling disconnected from them as a person.
from them.
Mentally, mostly, but physically too.

Anyone else on this cocktail? I'm taking Deprozel, a quarter of Surpilid, a quarter of Riset in the evening, and one Lorzilan at night. My psychiatrist laid this all out for me. Anyone actually have experience with any of these? Thanks.

Whoa, that's a lot of pills!😲 What exactly are you being treated for?
Deprozel is an Ad. Surpilid and Riset are antipsychotics, and Lorzilan is an anxiolytic.

Basically, separation neurosis means that in my head,
I'm still just a kid.
Mentally—not physically—I can't seem to detach from my parents because I'm terrified of growing up and taking on real responsibility.
Given how old I am now, there's this constant internal tug-of-war between the adult and the child.
One part of me wants to step up, while the other is scared to death, and that conflict leads to
obsessions, anxiety, depression, and all that stuff.
Hopefully, that clears things up for you.

Hey, don't sweat it. I deal with that exact same conflict all the time.😂🤣
Except for me, it isn't woman-child, it's man-child.😂🤣
