Thanks, everyone!

It’s feeling way better now—that little bump is basically gone. It still stings just a tiny bit when I touch it, and there's a little redness left, but nothing crazy. I'm going to give my surgeon a call tomorrow morning to check in and see what he thinks about the progress.

He’s a true professional—he actually saved my nose and cleared up all my sinus issues.

I personally went to see Dr. Džepina over at the Vineyard clinic, and honestly, the experience was just okay—it wasn't particularly great, but it wasn't terrible either. Based on what I know about him and my own time in his office, it was just middle-of-the-road.

Hello, does anyone here have more information regarding the WOW method (a non-surgical rhinoplasty)? I came across this technique online and saw that Dr. Milojević performs it, though I am unsure if he is the only practitioner offering it. The idea that a hump can be smoothed out and the tip reshaped in just about 10 minutes seems highly questionable to me...

Wait, doesn't Džepina have his own private ENT clinic? 🤔
I haven't actually been there myself—I've mostly just been digging through all my test results to double-check everything.
I have heard nothing but good things, though! Everyone mentions how incredibly attentive he is, which is pretty much the most important thing when you're looking at nose surgery.

To be honest, I can't quite place him—I just can't connect the face to the name, especially since I've practically lived at the ENT department over at the Vineyard. 😬
I'm leaning more towards that really quiet doctor, though.
If you don't mind me asking... what's bringing you in?

Everyone I ran into there was wonderful and so professional—from the nurses up, so I really don't have any doubts about the expertise of the staff. 🤷

p.s. If the nurses are reading this, thank you so much for being so understanding—you guys are awesome! 👍

Does anyone know if it’s actually feasible to get an ENT surgery scheduled, including all the preliminary exams and getting the referral sorted, through a general hospital or a medical center before October? I'm trying to figure out if I can get the whole process finalized by then.😢
Does anyone actually bother with nose jobs while wearing braces?
Is it general anesthesia, or can they just do local?

Anyone? I need some help here. 😢

I haven't had any personal experience with him yet—in fact, I’ve spent quite a bit of time pouring over all the medical reports just to double-check everything.
That said, I have heard nothing but glowing reviews; everyone seems to say he is incredibly meticulous, which is exactly the kind of trait you want when someone is performing nose surgery.

To be perfectly honest, I’m having a hard time placing his face with the name, mostly because I’ve been through every single ENT specialist at Mount Sinai. 😬
Something about that really quiet doctor just keeps pulling my interest.
If you don't mind me asking... what are you heading in for?

Every single person I encountered there was wonderful and highly professional, starting from the nursing staff and moving up, so I certainly don't have any doubts regarding the expertise of the doctors on the team. 🤷

p.s. If any of the nurses happen to be reading this, thank you so much for being so understanding; you all are truly amazing. 👍

I'm scheduled for surgery to fix a deviated septum and some reshaping, and it's actually with him, Davor Džepina. I believe he has a private clinic as well; he's pretty quiet, and I haven't heard a ton about him personally, but I was referred directly to him by another doctor who insisted I see him.

1. Does anyone know if it's possible to get an ENT exam, surgery, and all the necessary referrals sorted out through a general practitioner or a local clinic by October? 😢

2. Can you have rhinoplasty while wearing orthodontic braces?

3. Is the anesthesia usually general, or can they do it under local?

1. You really need to check directly with those specific hospitals.
2. Are we talking about teeth?
3. It's most often general anesthesia. Doing it under local is pretty much considered an extravagance.

Hey everyone! 🙂

It seems like this place covers just about everything—though I haven't seen anyone discussing rhinoplasty strictly for aesthetic reasons. To be clear, I’m not talking about a deviated septum or breathing issues; it's purely about the profile and overall size. I’d love to finally fix this—boost my confidence, if you will—but I'm flying blind regarding surgeons and price ranges. Also, does anyone know if financing plans exist, or is it all just one big upfront bill?

And honestly, location isn't a dealbreaker for me—I'm open to looking at clinics anywhere in the US.

So, if anyone has been through this or knows the drill, please weigh in. 🙂

+ I'm also looking for clinic recommendations so I can start doing my own digging.

Thanks in advance!

Fair enough, my mistake :/ But honestly, can you really just call up out of the blue and ask how long a procedure would take when the waiting lists are miles long? I don't know...

If it isn't an emergency, you might be looking at waiting more than six months for surgery in Washington, D.C.
You really ought to request a referral for an ENT specialist, and then once you actually sit down for that consultation, you should feel free to ask the doctor every single question on your mind.
Best,

"So highly anticipated," right? It’s funny how things change once you actually stop to think about it—???

I really want to do it, but it’s just not convenient right now. I don't live in the city, and I'm currently wearing braces—plus, I've heard some people say you shouldn't get nose surgery while you still have orthodontic work going on.

So, I did a little digging, and word is he’s fantastic. Honestly, some people would trust him with their lives! And looking back at earlier posts in this thread, people have called him an excellent plastic surgeon too. He always struck me as one of those quiet geniuses—someone who absolutely knows their craft, even if they aren't necessarily the type to coddle a high-maintenance patient. Since you're heading into surgery soon, I really think you can breathe easy—you're in great hands.

Maybe book an extra consultation just to grab five minutes to chat? Have a little laugh, maybe read up on some medical literature so you feel prepared—it helps! Just be upfront about what's bothering you and any anxieties you have regarding your nose. If you don't speak up, you won't get much out of it 🤷

I see people discussing all sorts of things here, but I haven't noticed anyone sharing experiences regarding nose surgery done purely for aesthetic reasons. It's not about a bump or anything—it's more about the overall size of my nose in profile. I'd love to fix that someday to boost my confidence. I'm just lost on which doctor to see or what the costs look like. Also, is there any kind of financing or payment plans available, or is everything handled case-by-case?

And just so you know, the location doesn't matter much to me—whether it's in the US, Canada, or Mexico.

So, if anyone has gone through something similar or just knows more about the process, please reach out! 🙂

Plus, I'd love some clinic recommendations so I can start doing my own research.

Thanks in advance!

If you check the previous pages, most of the discussion is already focused on aesthetics, including lists of happy and unhappy patients. My advice? Make sure you see an ENT, not just a cosmetic surgeon. So much can go wrong with nasal function, so it's definitely better to play it safe. 👍

So, you've gone under the knife twice already and there’s still a tiny little bump visible on your nose😕? I mean, how is that even possible? Honestly—though I know everyone has their own opinion—I think your nose looks perfectly fine; it isn't even remotely close to being an unattractive nose😍

Hi there

Just wanted to jump in here. I’ve been doing a ton of reading about this surgery on this forum, and about ten days ago, I finally saw Dr. Glušac down in Miami.
I actually live in Washington, D.C., but I made the trip to see him because he just seemed like the most thoughtful person. I went down there and, honestly, I got exactly what I was looking for.
The doctor didn't just treat me like some random number on a chart; he really listened to everything I wanted. I have a pretty low pain tolerance—it's kind of embarrassing, really—so I had to laugh at myself sometimes because I was whimpering so much. I felt so bad for poor Dr. Glušac, having to deal with my fussiness. 😁
But, it was totally worth it...
My nose is still a bit swollen, but there aren't any visible scars or external stitches, so I'm feeling really good about the results...
I would definitely recommend him.

Lisa Diaz68 said:So you've had two surgeries and there's still a little bump on your nose😕? How is that even possible? Honestly, I think your nose looks totally fine, it's nowhere near being an ugly nose😍

Yeah, I don't know, I guess I wonder the same thing myself.
I haven't really had any health issues; those two surgeries were purely cosmetic. The second one was actually free since it was a corrective procedure under warranty.
Anyway, a third one isn't really on the table. I'm not going to spend my whole life getting my nose fixed like Pišekica; I'll just live with how it is.

Mom, those curly nose rings aren't really the vibe anymore; everyone's going for the straight look now. Who did your surgery?
