I can send you some pics, but honestly, they’re gonna deflate quite a bit over the next month or two... so if you really want them, just drop me an email address where I can shoot them over now—and just imagine them being a tiny bit smaller than they look right now.. 😉

So glad to hear the surgery went well!! 👍

Man, I’d love to see those photos too. But seriously, it’s way easier for you to just toss them onto Imgur and paste the link here in a PM rather than dealing with the hassle of emailing someone every single time.

wanderingcrane21, this change is absolutely wonderful. I really love how it turned out, and since everything is still so new, just imagine how much better it’ll look in a month once it all settles in! 😲

On another note, you look so refreshed. Whatever happened to those blue and green bruises you had around your eyes? You look great, seriously. 🙂

Thanks, thanks so much.. 😍
Yeah, totally.. I can't wait for Christmas.. by then it'll be exactly two months since the surgery, so all this visible swelling should have pretty much vanished.. 😁
As for the bruising—well, obviously I used a little concealer for the photo, haha.. 🤣
But honestly, my bruising wasn't even that bad..
Day 1 (the day of the surgery)—absolutely nothing!!!!! at least when I was well-rested and feeling fresh.
Days 2 and 3—just some slightly darker brownish circles under my eyes and a tiny bit of puffiness
From Day 4 onwards—the under-eye area just turned yellow, nothing special. It'll probably be gone in another day or two. Once I put on some makeup (just a normal amount, nothing crazy), you can't even tell..
I really lucked out with the swelling and the bruising and everything, seriously, thank God! 🙂

Way to go, Tončić!! Honestly, you look adorable! It’s completely transformed your profile... in a good way! Your face looks way softer and more approachable now; before, you kind of had this super intense, stern vibe going on.
It’s pretty obvious that the top part is still quite swollen, especially in that profile shot. Just imagine how much of a little cutie you're gonna be once that "bump" finally settles down 😍

You can tell the tip is still pretty swollen, especially in that profile shot. Just imagine how it's going to look once that little "bump" finally settles down—it'll be perfection 😍

I'm totally loving it too.. 😁
yeah, the tip is definitely puffy, but even like this, my nose feels narrower than it used to be... so once all the swelling goes away, it could only get better.. 🙂
man, Rajko is the absolute best!!! 😉 😍

How are you guys dealing with all that nose peeling after the mold comes off? 🤔
It’s been a month since my surgery and my nose is just flaking everywhere, plus I'm loaded with blackheads. I really need a facial, but I'm low-key terrified! All I can tell my esthetician is "please, for the love of God, don't go poking around my nose" 🤔
When is it actually safe to touch my face without causing damage—like for a professional cleaning or popping pimples? And when can I finally stop worrying about someone accidentally bopping me on the nose? (Asking because I work around little kids and they have zero chill!!)

It’s been a month since my surgery and my nose is just constantly flaking, plus I'm dealing with all these blackheads. I really need to get a facial, but honestly, I'm terrified to go. If I could give her one piece of advice, it would be "don't you dare touch my nose." 🤔
When is it actually safe to touch my face without causing damage—like, when can I finally get a facial or have some acne squeezed? And more importantly, when can I stop worrying about someone accidentally bumping into my nose? (I'm asking because I'm around little kids all day, which is its own kind of chaos.)

I'm right there with you on all of that...
I actually had a run-in where my nephew accidentally bumped my nose—poor kid felt terrible because he thought he'd actually hurt me—but honestly, nothing even happened, it wasn't even a hard hit...
And I'm also wondering when these internal stitches and scabs are finally going to clear up so I can just wash my face like a normal person again.. 🤣

wanderingcrane21 said:Honestly, that's exactly what I'm wondering about too.
My nephew even accidentally bumped into me—the poor kid felt so bad because he’d already messed up big time with someone else—but honestly, it was nothing, just a tiny little nudge.
I’m honestly just sitting here wondering when they’re finally gonna get these internal wires out of me so I can actually wash myself like a normal person for once. 🤣

Haha, wanderingcrane21, looks like we’re basically living the same life. My cousin actually laid into me when I was three—it wasn't exactly a heavyweight bout or anything, but man, I could actually hear my bones clicking. It freaked me out big time at the moment, but honestly, everything seems fine so far.

I've got some before and after shots if anyone actually wants to see them—I can shoot them over to you privately, though I’m honestly curious to know what you guys think too :P. If anyone else is interested, just hit me up; I'm not really feeling like posting them all here for everyone to stare at.

I’ve got something else on my mind... nobody’s really asked this yet (from what I can tell), so I guess I'll just be the first one to jump in and get specific.. 😉 after how much time passed, when did things actually start feeling like a real, normal relationship? 😁 honestly, the poor guy seems terrified of even touching me.. every single time he leans in, it’s like he thinks I’m made of glass or something, like he’s scared he might just break me if he gets too close.. 🤣

Every single time we hang out, he just leans in like I’m made of glass and he's scared he might break me. 😂 🤣

I was right there the very next day, haha! 😬 Ugh, tell me about it! I’ve been constantly nagging him to be careful, too. And even after a whole month, we’re still playing it safe because the tip of my nose still feels totally numb!

I’m keeping an eye on it too, but honestly, my liver is giving me hell because even a tiny bit of pressure makes it ache... so yeah, looks like we'll just have to settle for a platonic relationship next month.. hahhah.. 😉))))

Hey everyone...
Just thought I’d check in. I was at the end of my seven-month recovery from surgery... the swelling in my nose has finally died down, and I don't think there's anything left to come down.
I still have a tiny bit of stiffness at the tip, and I'm careful when washing my face, 🙂 but honestly, I don't think much else is going to change. 🙂
I saw someone asking about when it's safe to start kissing again... personally, I was back at it about a month and a half after the procedure (and I wasn't exactly obsessing over my nose at the time 🙂), and everything went just fine.
It feels like I never even had the surgery; I can barely even remember what my old nose looked like anymore. 🙂
Good luck to everyone heading into this, and to those who are still on the fence. 🙂

For those who had their nose deviate to one side or the other after surgery, did it eventually straighten back out? If it did, how long did it take? Also, does it shift again once the stitches fall out, or stay put? I’m asking because I've already had about three stitches pop out on me!

I'm heading in tomorrow to get the mold removed, so I'll let you know how everything goes... the swelling under my eyes has finally gone down, though it's turned this weird yellowish color... and I still have these two irregular purple-black spots on my cheeks... hopefully those fade soon too... oh, and my eyelids are bruised purple as well, but if you didn't know better, you'd just think I was wearing heavy makeup😉

Hey Marty!

Thanks for getting back to me, but I can't reply to you directly since your inbox is totally full. Let me know once you clear some space 🙂

Look, here's the deal... you can't fully fix a nose that's gone crooked like that... at least, that's what I was told. If that's just how your face is shaped, there's not much to be done.
My nose was leaning way off center... and even now, some days it still feels like it's crooked, though it's nowhere near as bad as it used to be. Some days it looks perfectly straight... I don't even know, man. 🤷I was actually just venting to my boyfriend about it... he thinks it might depend on how I sleep. 🤣

I have no clue how many stitches they put in... but mine last one popped out about four months after my surgery. 😁Don't sweat the stitches too much. Generally, the longer they stay in, the better. They're what keeps everything locked in place. 😉

My nose used to be way crooked... and even now, some days it feels like it's drifting, though definitely not nearly as bad as before. On certain days it looks totally straight... I don't even get it! 🤷 I was actually just chatting with my boyfriend about it... he thinks it might depend on how I sleep. 🤣

I'm not sure how many stitches they use... but mine popped out about 4 months after my surgery. 😁 Don't sweat it! The longer they stay in, the better. They really help hold everything firmly in place. 😉

Yeah, but the thing is, my nose wasn't just crooked—I had this huge bump from a fall, and now the tip is tilting to the right... I'm terrified it's going to shift even more and then I'll be in real trouble. 😲 😲

edit: and it's definitely not about sleeping, because I sleep on my left side and my nose tilts the opposite way!

Guys, please help me out! I seriously need some comfort right now... T_T
It’s been about four or five months since my surgery, and I was fully expecting things to have settled down by now—you know, like the swelling goes down and everything actually starts looking normal.
BUT it feels like the exact opposite is happening. It looks worse than ever... Just for context, I went to this rookie surgeon, but honestly, he did everything he possibly could—removed the hump, lifted the tip, slimmed it down. When I first saw myself after the splint came off, my nose looked smaller than it's ever been. The tip was tight and petite, but then the "bloating" started. Now, it literally looks like a potato. It's all swollen and looks like it's drooping just because of the inflammation. When is this going to go away??? It’s been almost half a year! When I went for my checkup last month, he told me I just have thicker skin, and that's why... what does that even mean? Does it mean my tip is never going to look right? I just want it to look the way it did immediately after the surgery!!! I’m freaking out a little because I’ve been massaging it and doing everything, but nothing seems to be helping... Has anyone else dealt with this bloated, puffy tip because of thick skin?!
