These people are dangerous imperialists.

Pure delusion fueled by an imperialist complex.

Things are getting pretty grim out in Siberia. There’s such a massive backlog of burials happening there that they can't even keep up with the incoming shipments; they’re actually just stacking the dead in churchyards because they run out of space.

It’s honestly the exact same kind of wooden crate you see in this footage of soldiers being sent back home to Tuva.

And honestly, their neighbors actually take them seriously? Like, really?

If Informer is the one reporting it, it’s probably fake. I just double-checked the info and, honestly, looking at it now, Shoigu didn't even say what they're accusing him of. Someone just badly edited the speech; they cut out the part where he was clearly talking in the past tense.

This is good news, though it hardly comes as a surprise.

Bringing back the Soviet Union is the main goal this week.
Who knows what next week holds... or what fixed ideas they'll roll out..

I just stumbled upon some absolutely sickening footage showing Russian soldiers mutilating a Ukrainian soldier. I’m definitely not dropping the link here—honestly, if you really want to see it, you can find it easily enough on your own, but trust me, you don't want to. It is just pure, unadulterated horror after horror.

I hope you're joking.
Or maybe it's just an Informer story.

Nah, I'm dead serious. They actually identified someone from Siberia as the one responsible.

.
The Russian military has published footage of abuse of Ukrainian prisoners of war

The video shows Russian mercenaries bullying a captured Ukrainian soldier. In what can only be described as pure depravity, they cut off his testicles. Some of them were also shown in a Russian media report.

No joke—I shut the video off after ten seconds.
While Ukrainians are out there doing the work of taking POWs, the Russians are just handing back these... well, let's just say they aren't exactly returning whole men.

And look, this isn't some one-off thing either; we heard similar stories coming out of Mariupol before.

I didn't even open the link because I honestly can't stomach animalistic cruelty (assuming that's what the video is).

If this leaked today, it's not just proof of a total lack of humanity—it's a mockery of the highest order.

I mean, those are straight-up war crimes. Honestly, it says everything you need to know about the people who actually root for those sick individuals.

This just goes to show how little they care about their own people in captivity. It seems pretty obvious that Putin wants to bait Ukrainians into doing the same thing, just so he can point fingers and cry war crimes. I really hope nobody falls for his little trap.

They're Buddhist, so mentioning a "church" is a bit of a clumsy touch. Twitter should have done their homework better.

I see them serving alongside the Slavs here (this one's a Yakut, similar to the Buryat). It would be interesting to know if they're kept strictly in minority units or if the Russians mix them in with everyone else.

Independence Day... sounds like the perfect excuse for an M30 rocket firework show.👍

And hey, once the MGM-140 arrives with its +186 miles range, we'll see who's actually making a mockery of things then.

Both the DPR and LPR are gonna be toast.

Here we go again. That retired spokesperson of Zakharov’s is back at it with the threats, basically telling the Finns they're gonna be in trouble if they stop handing out visas to Russians.

She'd have a better time explaining why Russians are fleeing Russia in the first place. 😁

You really have to fact-check those tabloid media outlets three times before spreading their lies, nonsense, and hate.

Here’s the full quote: “Back then, I am absolutely certain, especially my generation, we were completely convinced that all of this was temporary and that our nation would be great and strong again. That there would be a Soviet Union once more and no one would leave. Everyone would live in peace and harmony.”

«В то время, я уверен абсолютно, особенно мое поколение, мы были абсолютно убеждены, что все это временно, и наша страна опять будет большой и сильной. Опять будет Советский Союз, и никто никуда не уйдет. Все будут жить в мире и согласии»

He’s talking about how Russians back in the last century during the collapse believed the crisis would pass and they'd get their USSR back in peace and prosperity.

It's not about Putin trying to rebuild the USSR.

Actually, his ambitions go way further. He wants to destabilize the entire world. His sick megalomania is just getting out of hand.

Yeah, it’s horrific, but we have to stay decent with them if our little guys are ever going to make it through this.😵

hollowdriver13 said:I think wiredtiger8 makes a really solid point here—there’s just zero chance that China is going to launch a military invasion of Siberia, even if the Russians completely fall apart in a conventional war.
Fighting a war just doesn't pay off when Russia is basically destined to become an economic satellite for China anyway. At this point, the Russian Federation doesn't have much to offer the rest of the world besides raw resources. Once you sever those deep economic ties with the West, they're left with pretty much just China and India as major players who actually have the muscle and the interest to buy their commodities in bulk.
And honestly, once you realize you're effectively dealing with a single buyer—and that the other side's entire budget depends on keeping that one customer happy—it becomes pretty obvious who's actually running the show in that relationship.

Smart nations expand through demographics, not through infantry. Just look at our neighbors to the east and ask them where Mexico is now.

The Chinese play the long game; they're patient. They will gradually settle in Siberia until they eventually become the majority. It isn't even a major hurdle since it's mostly desolate wilderness out there. Then, when the timing is right—not necessarily tomorrow, but during some future global realignment—parts of Siberia will simply... drift away.
