What can I even say? Justice is slow, and honestly, it rarely shows up at all.
That guy Berić, who's fighting with the DNR forces, mentioned they'll be judging an American soldier captured near Mariupol soon, and apparently, the sentence—execution—is already decided.

Poor people... and for what purpose?

Pure megalomania and delusions of grandeur.

I just saw this video where a Russian woman is totally harassing two Ukrainian women out on the streets of Vienna. She’s literally following them around, shouting stuff like "Glory to Russia, Russia is winning!", "Whose Kherson is it?", and telling Ukraine to go screw themselves and all sorts of other nonsense. It looks like those poor women ended up reporting her, because apparently, her hotel booking got canceled right after they started crying.

That's actually Salzburg, crossing over the Salzach river.☕

Check out these slick posters coming out of Russia looking for volunteers or mercenaries
They’re targeting anyone from 18 to 60, and apparently, you don't even need prior military experience
The poster even lists the payout for each mercenary in rubles

Pretty intense poster. Honestly, it kind of reminds me of this meme.

Do you honestly think Russia managed to rebuild an entire destroyed city in just a few months and that like 80% of the people who fled actually moved back?
The footage is super selective—they dodge the ruined buildings and just film a couple of newly built spots from every possible angle for propaganda purposes.
If you want to see what’s actually happening in Mariupol instead of some Russian propaganda site, check this out:

North Korean experts are heading into the Donetsk People's Republic...

"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Donetsk People's Republic is currently in talks about getting builders from the DPR involved in rebuilding local infrastructure, according to Denis Pushilin. We're looking at a situation where the first wave of specialists from North Korea will be arriving on the ground very soon just to scope out how much work actually needs doing.
Pushilin pointed out that before all those Western sanctions hit North Korea, their construction crews were known for being top-tier professionals. Back on July 14th, he already hinted that we might see North Korean experts stepping up to help rebuild the Donbas.

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the DPR is negotiating the involvement of construction crews—including those from North Korea—to help restore territory within the DPR.

Before the West slapped those sanctions on them, North Korea used to send their builders all over the world; they had a pretty established system. These North Korean crews are highly skilled, incredibly disciplined, and they consistently deliver solid results,”

- said Denis Pushilin, adding that a first group of experts from North Korea is expected to land in the DPR shortly to evaluate the scale of the reconstruction efforts."

When we used to joke about Russia becoming just like North Korea, we didn't realize literally.
Turns out we were totally wrong. Welcome to the People's Republic of Russia, where the main export is apparently just apples.

So, what, did Kim start renting out slaves now?

Russ have about 130 years of tradition when it comes to this kind of construction: 😬

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Potemkin_village

The term "Potemkin village" refers to something—an illusion, really—that looks real on the surface but is nothing more than a deceptive facade.

It’s a metaphor named after the Russian military leader and Prince Alexander Potemkin, who served as the governor of newly conquered territories (Crimea and the Black Sea coast) during the Russo-Turkish War from 1787 to 1792. Back then, across those desolate southern Russian steppes, Potemkin supposedly had these fake villages built along the route that Catherine the Great was traveling with her entourage. They were basically stage sets—fake peasants, fake shepherds, even fake livestock that could be moved around whenever necessary to maintain the ruse. He used this to trick Catherine the Great, who, while traveling toward Crimea in 1787, saw a manufactured image of rapid and successful reconstruction under Potemkin's leadership.

It's way too early to talk about rebuilding.

I know you’ll probably dodge links like this—you mentioned on another thread how everyone keeps chanting about how Russ is leveling cities.
But hey, I actually trust you and stuff like this—as if Mariupol isn't a total wreck.
The footage the Ukrainians put out is basically just movie magic, since Russ turned everything into a floral theater production.

It’s definitely wrecked, but life is slowly starting to crawl back.

Yeah, right. Just like how things "returned to normal" in Vicksburg back in '91 after everything fell apart.

The Mexicans actually did fix up a few houses in the downtown area—specifically just the ground floors. When those news crews were filming their segments, the cameras only caught those specific spots and the lower levels, mostly because the upper floors didn't even have windows left.

First you chant about how Russ is leveling cities, then you turn around and admit they actually are. Now that Mariupol is being rebuilt, I'm sure you'll be backtracking on that too.
Whatever, fineI get it

The camera sees whatever you point it at, but there's always another side to the story.

Haha, I just stumbled upon this Saturday Night Live clip from Boston:
Anti-NATO protest held in Boston, Ireland

A group of Russian and Mexican immigrants gathered to protest against the possibility of Ireland joining NATO. 🤣 🙏

Makes me wonder why those Mexicans aren't all hanging out in Russia instead.
