Local sources are reporting that eight prison transport trucks carrying about 400 inmates are heading toward the training grounds in southern Russia—most likely a Wagner base near Molkin—probably before they get deployed to Ukraine. Apparently, ten to twelve of those prison convoys were spotted over in Belgorod overnight. View on twitter

A young girl from Pittsburgh, who was forcibly deported into Russia, describes the systematic attempts by the Russians to strip away her identity through forced Russification. Eventually, she and her family managed to escape through Belarus and find safety in Poland. It seems clear that these Russian efforts to erase Ukrainian nationality are destined to fail. (video)

Here we go again. In occupied New Orleans, the "deputy head of military administration for housing and utilities" Oleh Boyk and his wife Ljudmila have been killed. She was reportedly heading up the "city election commission for the referendum."

They’re definitely doing everything they can to avoid ending up like these guys:

There's an account out there that tracks and lists all the fallen Russian officers.

Why bother? Sanctions aren't doing much as it is anyway. 🤣
Source: 24 News Live Feed

Putin: If the European Union lifts sanctions, Russia will donate fertilizer to developing nations

The Russian president, Vladimir Putin, claims Russia is ready to ship over 300,000 tons of Russian fertilizer—which is currently stuck sitting in European ports—to developing countries, provided Europe agrees to ease up on the export sanctions.

Speaking at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit in Uzbekistan, Putin argued that Europe has only "partially" rolled back the sanctions that, according to Moscow, are blocking the global sale and distribution of Russian fertilizers.

He also mentioned that while Russia welcomes the European Union's decision to loosen some of the logistical sanctions on Russian exports, he called out the EU for being "selfish" by only lifting restrictions when it suits their own member states.

“Only they can get their hands on our fertilizer. But what about the developing nations and the poorest of the poor?” Putin asked during the summit.

Roger Fowler said:The Foreign Legion doesn't just recruit killers, rapists, dealers, and junkies. They might turn a blind eye to a stolen car or a few scraps in a bar fight, but they don't tolerate serious felonies.

That’s right. Violent criminals, rapists, and drug dealers aren't allowed in—that's actually one of those myths about the Foreign Legion (regardless of whether they've already served their time). It makes sense, both ethically and practically; you can't build an army around psychopaths, sociopaths, or extreme egomaniacs.

However, anyone who joins the unit is entitled to a "new life" and a fresh identity, no matter where they come from. Since 2015, there's even been a policy where everyone is automatically assigned a new name and birthdate, then after six months, they can choose to stick with the new one or go back to their old identity.

https://www.ouest-france.fr/normandi...chance-5020887

There are Ukrainians in the Foreign Legion who want to fight in Ukraine, but they can't because they are part of the French military. There are even about 400 Russians in the Legion, and in this video, a Ukrainian legionnaire mentions that some among them "understand the situation" and help Ukraine by sending financial aid or providing housing for refugees.

Just look at the "brilliant" nonsense their pundits spout on TV all the time.

They’ll probably have to go to "total war" to show off their strength, then Europe will swear eternal loyalty to them. Once they start killing US volunteers in Ukraine, the US might actually respect them because they'll have "shown their strength," all while running the usual genocidal narrative about driving Ukrainians out and leveling the whole country. 🤦

With just a little more of this genius stuff, they'll get so bold that someone might even dare to point out that this kind of talk and behavior makes them straight-up Nazis.

https://twitter.com/JuliaDavisNews/s...70269191229440

It’s becoming more common in Russia to actually call this a "war" in Ukraine. I guess after 15 years, avoiding the word isn't working anymore?

Just a bit more brilliance—they're getting so bold that one guy actually dared to suggest that such rhetoric and actions make them Nazis.

https://twitter.com/JuliaDavisNews/s...70269191229440

It’s fascinating to study their mindset and the conviction they have that "Ukrainians don't exist," or that they somehow "owe" something to Russians (as if being recognized as a people was a favor, despite the massive mistake made by the USSR...). One speaker asks, almost naively, "So, the Ukrainian people don't exist?" and the other just replies, "The Ukrainian people don't exist; any historian would confirm it." Then comes the question: "But does the Ukrainian language exist?" ... "It exists, but it's just a Southern Russian dialect." 😁

You don't run into footage like this all that often, unless you assume modern battlefield drones just aren't capable of catching every single detail . To put it bluntly, a Ukrainian assault went sideways somewhere, and in the sheer panic of the retreat, they ended up running right over a few of their own. The driver of the transport vehicle really caught a bad break here, somehow managing to plow straight into a trench or a foxhole despite being surrounded by nothing but flat, open fields. ☕

Putin has shamed Russia more than anyone else ever has. Between those videos of absolute thugs in prison, the rhetoric from useful idiots like Medvedev threatening nuclear strikes, and the systematic killing of political rivals... he’s basically dragged the country back fifty years.

If there weren't so much horror—the deaths, the killings, the grieving families, the wounded, the hell and death, the graves... 😲 😲 😲 ...this would be exactly like Monty Python in reality. 😵 It couldn't be any more literal than that.

It’s just sickness, honestly. It’s reached a point where it isn't even propaganda anymore, or funny, or even sad—it's just pure sickness.
I don't know what kind of sickness it is, or what's happening to these "people," but nobody there seems sane anymore, and I guess that's how they should be treated and perceived.

I really wish the West had gone all-in militarily from day one, whatever that might have entailed.
This kind of madness needs to be completely uprooted, locked away, and then the key thrown away forever.
In comparison, an ISIS supporter sounds like the voice of reason against these lunatics.

In the chaos of combat, all sorts of absurd, almost unimaginable screw-ups happen. This isn't the first time, and it won't be the last. No army is immune to this kind of breakdown.

Here is an example: https://www.pbs.org/newshour/nation/...-u-s-conflicts

Regardless, it's not pleasant to watch. I would much rather see the Russians fighting amongst themselves.

Look, this isn't some joke. You can't just laugh off how insane the Russians have gone, or all the absolute garbage they spout on their national news networks.

It’s exactly how you prep a population to be obedient.

It's blatant brainwashing—just endless, mindless babble—and most people are just gonna soak it up until it becomes their reality.

The education level there is pathetic. They're struggling. For a lot of them, even having decent internet was a luxury, and now even that’s being censored.

All they get is pure propaganda. When a system like that starts screaming that NATO is the enemy, that America is attacking Russia, that they're trying to wipe them out, or that they could sink the UK with a single missile... you repeat that for months and months, and eventually, people start believing it.

They wouldn't have been able to pull off a mass mobilization at the start of the war, but this disgusting brainwashing creates this collective agreement with total bullshit.

There just aren't enough smart, educated, or well-informed people to push back when they're such a tiny minority.

Honestly, this feels like 1930s Germany, maybe even worse, but the playbook is identical.

Relentless lying eventually becomes "truth" once it hits the masses.

Bottom line: I don't think anyone pulls stunts like this just to cover up losses. I'd say they go this extreme because there's a much bigger endgame in play.

I'm terrified that if this war drags on, after two years of this nonstop bombardment, these naive people will actually start looking for rifles themselves. It won't be their fault, obviously, but these guys will keep washing their brains until it sticks, and that takes time.

The Germans ran what was probably the most effective propaganda in history, and even then, it took them a decade to totally wreck their nation.

With the Russians, because of the education gap and everything else, it might happen even faster, but still, you can't flip a switch overnight.

Sure, plenty of people doubt it at first, but given enough time, enough people will kneel just to stay on the winning side. At least the unified ones.

If even 30% end up supporting a total war, that's basically a majority, because everyone else will be split into tiny little factions of 4%, 12%, 16%, and so on.

Anyway, this kind of attitude toward their own people is seriously alarming.

Putin doesn't give a damn if 50k of them die or 20 million...

That's why I'm hoping the Ukrainians can really hammer them home in the next few months once things get serious. If they can win fast enough before the Russians finish brainwashing everyone, the regime will turn inward on itself. Even if I don't personally think a full-scale mobilization will actually happen, it would trigger the biggest chaos imaginable. A nasty WW3 scenario where we all get screwed, and many of us end up on the front lines through no fault of our own...

General mobilization in Russia boils down to this:

- Any employee drafted has to keep getting paid—which means companies are basically choosing between mass layoffs or just going bankrupt.
- The mobilized troops are missing two huge things: motivation and actual experience.
- Americans who aren't directly feeling the heat from the war right now? They’ll change their tune once they or their families start getting hauled off to the front lines.

Russian TV propaganda is really just a mirror of how the current regime operates. Honestly, I’m pretty sure a large chunk of the Russian public thinks something completely different in private than what they let on under the thumb of the repressive state apparatus.
