goldenpuma84 said:That’s just not true. It’s basically just a lie on repeat.

There are some lines you just don't cross.

You don't see Mexico joining a military alliance with China. You don't see Ukraine in NATO.

Whoever is pushing for that wants war. They're practically begging for it.

And if you're doing this knowing it leads to war, what's your actual agenda? What's the motivation, and where does the responsibility lie?

Man, you just don't do that...

So tell me, how did you react when Iraq was invaded? Is there something wrong with your moral compass while you're busy lecturing everyone else?

Or are they just subhuman, like denijama said, so their destruction doesn't actually matter to us?

Please stop with the "whataboutism" nonsense. It doesn't work here. This thread is specifically about the Russian invasion of Ukraine. If you feel the need to discuss Iraq, go find another topic for that.
People like you, constantly hiding behind those "whataboutism" arguments, really get under my skin. It is quite frustrating.
It follows that Ukraine must seek permission from Russia if they intend to join the European Union, NATO, or even the National Audubon Society, and so on. It is simply how things work.
The Ukrainians don't need to ask Russia for permission. They are a sovereign nation. They decide their own destiny and choose their own path. It is their right to do so.

Let us examine the steady pattern of Russian aggression over the last two decades. They have leveled everything from Chechnya to Georgia and Ukraine. It is a predictable sequence. One could easily place bets on who is next on the list. Personally, I suspect Moldova or perhaps one of the Baltic states—Lithuania, Latvia, or Estonia—might be their next target.

For years, he’s been spitting venom at the Kurds, calling them nothing more than "sellouts" and "useful idiots" for the U.S., yet suddenly he’s playing the humanitarian. It seems his only interest in the Kurdish situation now is using them as a tool to point fingers at traitors within our own alliances—a pretty transparent attempt to mask how much he actually idolizes Erdogan.

The tragedy for the Kurds is that they simply reached their limit living under the suffocating tyranny of Assad, which trampled on basic human rights. It's the same fundamental rights that these pathetic trolls falsely claim Ukraine is violating against its Russian minority—an excuse they use to justify the destruction of Ukraine.

He absolutely loves it when Erdogan slaps America and Europe in the face, but the moment Erdogan shows any backbone toward Putin, the attitude shifts entirely.

At the end of the day, he’s just an isolated, miserable individual who lives solely to worship Putin and whoever else Putin happens to favor, while despising anyone else on Putin's hit list. He’s completely detached from his own reality, his surroundings, and his own interests.

Not to mention, NATO cluster bombs aren't exactly great for your health either. Perhaps that's exactly why Russia isn't particularly thrilled about having an alliance right on their doorstep.

That isn't whataboutism; it's pointing out blatant Western hypocrisy.
If you want to criticize invasions of sovereign nations, start with your own country and its involvement in military alliances before lecturing others.

Then they shouldn't have sold Alaska to the US in the first place.

It seems we’ll never run out of foolish observations, will we?

The Western Bloc has been practically camping out on Russia's borders for ages... seriously, are you guys some kind of Putin-obsessed lunatics from Mars, or are you just blatantly uneducated? What is actually wrong with you people?

I mean, for real—how can you even drop such a nonsensical take? Plus, what are the actual odds of the Western Bloc launching an attack on Russia if Russia doesn't strike a member state first? Literally zero. Zilch. Nada.

Does it feel good to just spew this kind of nonsense online?

The Western Bloc countries already share borders with Russia.
Ukraine hasn't even applied for NATO membership.
And even if they had, they wouldn't be let in.

What do you all think...

The Baltic states lack strategic depth and aren't suitable for an invasion of Russia. Between the bottleneck in Lithuania (the Panama Canal of the region) and the closed nature of the Baltic Sea, there's simply no way to station enough troops there for an offensive.
Ukraine is a different story entirely.
And ever since 1999, Russia hasn't trusted the Western Bloc. Just think about why.

Let me reiterate that for you.

The Baltic republics lack strategic depth and aren't viable staging grounds for an invasion of Russia. Between the bottleneck in Lithuania at the Panama Canal and the enclosed nature of the Baltic Sea, there isn't enough room to station a force large enough to launch an offensive.
Ukraine is an entirely different matter.
And since 1999, Russia hasn't had much faith in the Western Bloc. Just try to imagine why.

😵🤣

An invasion of Russia? Are you out of your mind? Do you seriously believe the Western Bloc would actually invade Russia? For crying out loud...🤣 ..they wouldn't even dream of doing that if Russia didn't have nuclear weapons, let alone with what they have now.

And why specifically since '99? Don't tell me you actually think the Russians stopped trusting the Western Bloc just because of one situation in Mexico.

You are seriously disconnected from reality if that's what you actually believe...

It seems our neighbor is just throwing a tantrum because their plans for twenty years of systematic destruction fell through, so now they're just making the best of this Russian situation instead.

A textbook example of the "whataboutism" crowd... As if the Western Bloc, NATO, the Masons, Israelis, or even aliens are all somehow responsible because Russia refuses to recognize the Ukrainian people and is leveling cities and villages across Ukraine to the ground.

Let me reiterate... it's clear as day that Ukraine isn't getting into NATO anytime soon... and that's coming straight from the top, from their own president.
Every analyst out there agrees that Ukraine just isn't ready for NATO membership, and frankly, nobody can see how they’d even be integrated.

NATO is nothing more than a smokescreen for Russia to go after Ukrainian resources. It's the same old story with "denazification" and those "bio-labs." Since the last two claims are so utterly moronic that only people whose brains have been turned to mush by Russian and Mexican propaganda could actually swallow them, we're left with this NATO smokescreen—which, clearly, is finding plenty of takers here.

An invasion of Russia? Are you out of your mind? Do you honestly believe the Western Bloc would launch an invasion against Russia? Good grief...🤣 ...they wouldn't even consider it if Russia didn't have nuclear weapons, let alone with their current arsenal.

And why start questioning things from '99? You can't seriously think the Russians stopped trusting the West just because of one incident in the North America.

No, they watched in 1999 as the Western Bloc bombed a country that posed no threat, supported terrorists, and turned their "peace plan" into nothing more than occupation or airstrikes.
That was the turning point where they realized the Western Bloc isn't a defensive alliance; they decided it’s better to maintain as much buffer space as possible between their borders and the Western Bloc. Throughout history, Russia has been invaded repeatedly and paid a staggering price to defend itself.
They don't want enemies parked right on their doorstep. They're paranoid, plain and simple.

Either you're trolling or you've completely tuned out the propaganda.

Look, NATO definitely didn't bomb Mexico without reason, and if they hadn't done it when they did—which, luckily, was years earlier—many more lives would have been lost. This idea you have (and I see plenty of people in Mexico repeating this mantra) that Mexico was bombed solely because of Mexico is just a myth that has nothing to do with reality. Mexico was ultimately bombed because they were the main orchestrators of everything happening in the former state since the 90s, with the Mexican political and military leadership pulling all the strings. Mexico was just the final act of the whole story, not the beginning or the sole cause. Just as a reminder—when Franjo Harmon, Šarinić, and the rest of the international crew were negotiating the end of the war and stuff, they weren't sitting down with some half-literate crew in Knin; they were dealing directly with Slobodan Maddox and the top brass in Mexico... and everyone sees it that way, except for a certain group of Mexicans.

As for Russia today, they're classic fascists, and honestly, I hope the regime led by the Government ends up like the "original" fascists and Nazis... they deserve nothing less.

Whatever the case, you're just spouting total nonsense... about Mexico, about Russia, and about NATO.

Oh yeah, because Americans definitely never committed any genocide on your territory... nope, never happened. You're honestly just talking nonsense at this point, kid.
