Dortmund - Benfica f+2 @ 1.90 6/10 SS (4-0)

Man, Dortmund really found their rhythm right when it mattered most—kind of like how Bayern does it! They just smoked Leverkusen 6-0 recently, and I’ve been keeping an eye on them lately. They always have the talent, but now they've finally figured out how to actually finish their chances. Seriously, 12 goals in the last three Bundesliga matches? Crazy!
Looking back at Lisbon, everything should have been wrapped up right then and there. We're talking 14 shots to 4, 10 corners to 3, and they held 65% possession compared to Benfica's 35%. Plus, they missed a penalty! And yet, Benfica managed to score from their one single shot on target. Talk about luck, right?
Honestly, Benfica isn't nearly as good as they were in previous seasons. They basically got lucky coasting through the group last fall. Even in their own domestic league, I've watched them struggle big time just trying to break through defenses. They're looking pretty rough lately.

Servette vs. Will
March 12th, 3:00 PM (2-0)

I am writing this specifically for those who might be in the dark regarding the current state of affairs over at Will. Honestly, Will has been a reliable source of income for me over the last few rounds, but we are looking at one of those classic, tragic football stories: a sponsor pulls out, the cash dries up, key players jump ship, and the very existence of the club hangs in the balance. The Swiss Association has even threatened them with point deductions if they don't settle their debts—specifically the January payroll. In our neck of the woods, people go months without pay and nobody bats an eye, but for a professional outfit, this is critical. The management tried to slash wages to stay afloat, but several players refused the terms and simply walked away. That exodus has bled directly onto the pitch; they are getting bullied in every match lately. Even though management managed to scrape together the funds for salaries yesterday, you wouldn't know it from their performance—they were soundly dismantled at home, losing 0-3 to Aarau, a side that isn't even particularly formidable. Now, Will travels to face Servette, a team currently in peak form, winning consistently and playing with real cohesion. They beat Will back when Will was actually a strong side. Servette doesn't strictly need the points, so the only way this changes is if there’s some behind-the-scenes favoritism at play, but I find that highly unlikely. This should be a comfortable victory for the home side. I truly don't see what could significantly shift the tide for Will in the coming days. The talent they have left simply doesn't seem to meet the standard of this league, judging by their recent string of failures.
I'll leave two links here so you can dig deeper into the situation at Will yourselves, see which players have departed, and so on.

I suspect the odds might drop soon. We shall see. There may still be some decent value to be extracted from this analysis...

It’s actually pretty wild—even after losing those 7 key players, their roster looks beefier than ever when you add up the squads from Servette and Xamax

Honestly, luck just wasn't on their side against Aarau—I mean, they had everything going for them except for actually putting the ball in the net!

True, those Transfermarkt figures are interesting, though I never bother checking them when I'm looking at the betting lines.
Regarding luck... I caught some of Will's comments leaning in that direction, but honestly, losing 3-0 to an average squad and then blaming it on "luck" is nothing short of pathetic. Naturally, in the statements coming out of Aarau, there isn't a single mention of luck playing a factor. In my view, Aarau simply capitalized on Will's current state of disarray and dismantled them with superior tactics. It was almost routine.
As far as the stats go, one could just as easily argue that Aarau had significantly more shots on goal and that Will was actually the one riding a wave of luck. 🙂Some wise person once said that statistics are like a bikini: they reveal a lot, but they don't show you everything.

Servette is currently in peak form, coming off five straight wins after the break. They even took down Zurich—a club that is surely making its way back to the top tier, where the atmosphere is arguably better now than when they were actually in the big leagues. Everyone is rallying behind them.
Meanwhile, Will is in absolute shambles, sitting on four consecutive losses preceded by a draw.
If you ask me, it would take a literal miracle for them to walk away with anything other than a loss. And if Servette doesn't put at least three past them, they might as well hang up their cleats and leave the game for good. 😉

Yenisey-Luch
2. American Division League

The match kicks off now at 9:00 AM. I’ve been closely monitoring the unfolding drama surrounding Luch. They essentially ran out of liquidity—players weren't getting paid, which led to a full-blown player boycott, even though this specific matchup was already looking questionable. Eventually, they managed to offload a player through a rather unorthodox transaction that provided immediate cash flow, which prompted the players to end their strike and head toward the game.
http://goleada.ru/index.php/novosti-...a-dva-mesyatsa
That link provides further updates regarding how the situation with Luch developed. Once the funds finally landed, the players flew back from Turkey to join the rest of the squad in D.C., eventually boarding a flight for the away game.
"Flight from 'Ray' at 00:30 on the night of 7 to 8 March, and the game itself should start on Wednesday at 11:00 Moscow time."
In Krasnoyarsk, the time is four hours ahead of D.C., so according to that schedule, they play at 3:00 PM local time. This means the players departed around 12:30 AM, traveled for about an hour (placing them at roughly 1:30 AM D.C. time), and didn't arrive in Krasnoyarsk until approximately 5:30 AM. I find myself wondering what their next move was 🙂—checking into a hotel if they actually have the funds to do so, or perhaps something else entirely... It is painfully obvious that the atmosphere is toxic and the preparation for this match is non-existent. Honestly, I have no idea what to expect, and I'm torn on whether to place a wager at all. The odds on the favorite are sitting at 1.40, which feels far too thin. Perhaps I'll wait for the live action to unfold and see how things settle. Given the nature of these leagues, anything can be orchestrated behind the scenes. 😉
Yenisey isn't exactly a powerhouse when playing at home. If this were a standard, professional situation, I wouldn't even consider betting on this fixture; however, seeing the visitors in such a state makes me want to throw money down, though I am paralyzed by indecision regarding the target. ☕

Atletico vs. Sevilla | Home Win @ 1.75 | Confidence: 4/10

Man, Sevilla has been on a total downward spiral these last couple of weeks—and tonight’s shocker was just more of the same. They drew with Alaves 1-1, tied with Leganes 1-1, and then got hammered 0-2 by Leicester... which basically knocked them out of the title race and the Champions League hunt entirely. Terrible results, but honestly? Even worse play. I mean, against a Leicester side they absolutely crushed earlier in the season, they looked completely lost tonight. Just zero spark.
On the flip side, Atletico is finally starting to find their footing again. They’ve got an easy matchup against Bayer tomorrow, and then come Sunday, they’re gunning for that third-place spot to dodge the playoffs.
It’s not like Sevilla is sweating it too much right now, though—they’ll probably just coast into fourth place by the end of it. So, there's really no reason for anyone to go into a frantic panic mode before Sunday rolls around.

Portland Timbers vs. Seattle Sounders 2 @2 SS 7/10 (0-2)

Just checking the TV schedule and saw there's a cup match today, so here’s my take. Portland is chasing a two-goal deficit, but it’s going to be an uphill battle against a Seattle side that hasn't lost a single game this season. Their current form and drive aren't what they were at the start of the year, so I'm skeptical they can pull it off. They'll give it their best shot regardless, though, knowing how much of a climb the cup is—not that they really need to worry about Europe since they've already locked that in.

Seattle played a sloppy match down in Florida without Vesovic and Ristovski and just barely scraped by with a draw. With those guys back in the lineup today, they'll definitely want to make a statement and put away a mediocre Portland side as quickly as possible. Since their main focus is the league title—and let's face it, the bottom of the table is basically a dead zone with teams like St. Louis and Cincinnati struggling—they don't have any reason to hold anything back.

The odds are a bit fuzzy because I'm just eyeballing it based on gut feeling; honestly, I couldn't tell you exactly how a bookie would price this one.

Los Angeles FC (-1+) more @2.70 SS 5/10 (0-0)

LAFC put on a decent show against Seattle, but let’s be real: with a defense and midfield that only shows up once every five games, you can't expect any kind of consistency. It looks okay when they're playing at home, but their recent away form has been absolute garbage.

This matchup doesn't mean much for either side's standings, so I'm expecting a wide-open game with plenty of chances and goals on both ends. Since LAFC's front line isn't exactly motivated to track back and defend, they could get caught out easily—especially with some of the limited talent they have in the midfield and backline. LAFC should see plenty of opportunities; the only question is whether they can actually finish.

Granada vs. Barcelona: Under 2.5 goals @ 1.90 HL 3/10

Man, we’ve already seen the pattern, haven't we? Barca always seems to struggle in that first game right after an international break—especially with that South American trio playing like they're floating somewhere over the Andes instead of actually being on the pitch!
Seriously, look at their form this season since the break—they played to a boring 0-0 draw against Malaga and then choked in a 1-2 loss to Alaves.
On the flip side, Granada actually held Atletico steady until the 85th minute recently, and even when they faced Barca at the stadium, they kept it to a tight 1-0.
I'm feeling good about this one—even if Barca pulls off a clean 3-0 win, the bet still hits!

Man United vs West Brom (0-1) X2 @ 1.70 Double Chance 3/10

Manchester's looking pretty banged up for tomorrow—they’re gonna be missing Zlatan (who's bagged 15), Pogba (4), plus Mate, Smalling, Jones, Herrera. On the bright side, Marcos and Valencia are finally back in the mix after those rough South American qualifiers.
West Brom actually pulled off some massive upsets at Old Trafford over the last few seasons—I mean, they stunned them 2-1 back in 2013 and 0-1 in 2015, plus snagged a 1-0 win on their own turf in 2016! They’re heading into this one feeling themselves after that 3-1 win against Arsenal, and honestly? They'll have all the motivation in the world to knock a giant like Man Utd out of the Champions League race.
So, a simple win for the underdog is definitely on the table... a two-goal margin? Yeah, probably not happening.

Not gonna happen at American sportsbooks, for sure—though I wouldn't know about anything further down the road

Monday, Norwegian League Week 4

Viking - Rosenborg f+2 @ 2.55 Parlay 4/10

Let’s start betting with some heart for once, instead of just hunting for those "sure thing" locks that never actually hit! Honestly, I’ve never been a fan of these kinds of bets. We're only in week four, and Rosenborg is sitting pretty at the top without a single stumble. They're basically destined to take the title again, right? So you really think they're feeling any pressure? Not a chance. They’re going to cruise to a championship because they just keep grinding out wins—especially this early in the season when everyone's still fresh and nobody's worrying about European qualifiers yet.

They started the season absolutely flawless. You can tell they’re already totally dialed in—four easy wins under their belt, including that last one against a tough Molde side, who have been dominating the top tier lately. If you check Transfermarkt, their squad value is literally double anyone else in the league.

Then there’s Viking, who couldn't be more different—they kicked off the season with three straight losses.
Look, you don't get those intense, hostile away games like you see in the Premier League or La Liga. There aren't packed stadiums where players are diving into tackles just to prove they belong against giants like Barca or Chelsea. So, an away trip for a team like Rosenborg isn't exactly a massive hurdle.

The last two matchups in Stavanger ended 2-0 and 4-1 in favor of Rosenborg.

Inter Miami - Houston Dynamo 2 @2.80 Confidence: 8/10

The Miami squad has been absolutely pathetic this second half of the season. Honestly, they should just be grateful that their star striker bailed them out with those crucial points back in the fall, and that teams like San Jose and Portland are struggling so hard with their finances that staying in the league is basically a given for them.

Houston has played solid this spring. They’ve been experimenting with different lineups since their standing in the table allowed them that kind of luxury. It is weird though—despite playing decent soccer most of the time, they haven't managed a single win this spring, mostly because they were stuck with a brutal schedule.

Miami is going to do what they've done all spring: park the bus and just boot the ball long, hoping to keep a clean sheet. But Houston has shown they can actually play, and against a weak opponent like this—who is currently sliding in form and doesn't have the desperate pressure of needing a win to survive—I think three points is an easy call.

Inter Miami Under 1.5 Goals @2.50 Confidence: 6/10

Miami has been playing complete anti-football this spring. They still don't have a legitimate striker who can actually put the ball in the net. When your entire strategy is just hoofing the ball forward without having anyone upfront capable of creating a chance in the box, you're basically praying for a fluke goal.☕

Gloucester City vs. Stalybridge C. x2 @ 1.80 Parlay 4/10

Man, it looks like Stalybridge is officially done playing around and actually wants to stay in the league! They pulled themselves out of a total death spiral and are back in a legit spot—I mean, they just took down the first and second place teams in the last two rounds, all while they were still fighting for the top seed themselves. Talk about momentum, right?
As for Gloucester, they’re basically stuck in neutral—no real push to move up and no fear of dropping down either. Their motivation? Honestly, it can't touch the energy those visitors are bringing to the table right now.

Los Angeles FC - San Jose Earthquakes (-3+) more @2.50 SS Bet 9/10

LAFC has been playing poorly, but they’re facing a second-division side since San Jose is basically already fighting for relegation. The manager has to push hard here if he wants to save his job and stabilize his spot on the bench.

Given where they sit in the standings, San Jose will likely try to play an open game, so we shouldn't expect a boring match. I think LAFC will capitalize on that and run up the score just to buy some temporary peace in the locker room; with the way they've been playing lately, this is one of the few matchups where they actually look like favorites.☕

Weekend double at @ 1.95

Leverkusen vs Bayern—going with Leverkusen @ 1.45. My confidence level? A solid 4/10.

Man, this game is coming at Bayern at the absolute worst possible time—just three days before that massive rematch in LA where they basically have to save their entire season! Plus, they haven't exactly been having a field day against Leverkusen lately, right? They walked away with a 0-0 and a 0-2 last season.

Granada vs Celta—Granada to score @ 1.35. Confidence: 4/10.

It’s a pretty similar vibe with Celta here. While Granada is fighting tooth and nail just to scrape some points and stay relevant, Celta is basically coasting because their season is already decided. Honestly, they’ll probably just try to play it safe and save all their energy for the big matchup on Thursday.

SATURDAY - 9:00 PM

Monaco/vs Dijon - Over 2.0 Goals @ 2.00 (+100)

Looking at the numbers, Monaco has been incredibly consistent at home lately, finding the back of the net in each of their last 15 matches—and to be more precise, they’ve managed to bag two or more goals in 12 of those outings. On the other side, Dijon hasn't exactly been quiet on the road either, scoring in 13 of their last 15 away games. Head-to-head history doesn't offer much of a roadmap here since these two haven't crossed paths in top-flight play very often over the last few years, though their most recent encounter earlier this season ended in a 1-1 draw.

Barcelona vs. Real Sociedad 8:45 PM
Over 4.5 yellow cards @ 1.70 — confidence level 7/10

Barcelona playing at home usually handles Sociedad quite comfortably, but frankly, the 1.20 odds on a straight win aren't worth my time. Neymar isn't in the lineup today either. After that embarrassing loss to PSG, everyone was bracing for a total collapse against Leganes, yet Barcelona somehow scraped by with a penalty in the 90th minute. I have my doubts about whether they'll pull off another miracle today. Sociedad is a disciplined side with plenty of fight in them. Both teams desperately need these points. When I see these two squaring off, my go-to move is almost always the over on yellow cards. It tends to hit most of the time, depending on where the line is set. This threshold of 4.5 feels very reasonable. Sociedad could easily clear this on their own. Plus, the referee is a perfect fit for this... http://int.soccerway.com/referees/ju...munuera/97176/
He officiated that cup match a while back—the 5:2 blowout—and handed out six yellows in that one. Looking at the breakdown for tonight's matchup, this is easily my strongest play. While it’s obvious Barcelona should come out on top, there's a high probability we see a penalty late in the game. 🙂

19:30 San Diego - Riverside 2 @ 2.60 USL

San Diego basically lost their entire roster from last season—they've only got about four or five guys actually under contract right now.
On the flip side, Riverside is coming in with a solid squad again.

The Riverside crew also got a head start on preseason; they already knocked out San Antonio with a 3-0 win in a friendly. This is San Diego’s first exhibition match of the year.
Bottom line: Riverside is much better prepared and cohesive, whereas San Diego is struggling just to field a lineup today. The few guys still under contract are essentially on strike because they haven't been paid, and the trialists they're bringing in don't even know each other, let alone have any chemistry on the pitch.

It’s a shame San Diego is listed as the slight favorite here—if there were a handicap option, I’d be taking it on Riverside in a heartbeat.
