2,5/Chelsea vs Atletico Madrid 1 1,55 ss (1-3)

What's the move for this matchup? We know how Chelsea plays, though I expect things to open up a bit tonight—still, I'm not betting on anyone clearing that margin today. Both sides are going to be obsessed with keeping a clean sheet; conceding early would give the other team a massive, maybe even insurmountable, advantage. Basically, I'm expecting a cautious game from both ends. Unless someone grabs an early lead off a lucky break, these odds look like a solid play for me.
Good luck, everyone!

US Open Cup
18:00
New York Yankees - John Doe (4-0)
both teams to score @ 2,00 betmgm
both teams to score and over 2.5 goals @ 2,35

This is the second leg of the cup. The New York Yankees are absolutely tearing it up at the top of the standings right now—they’re basically on a mission to pull off the double. On the other side, you've got John Doe, just a mid-table squad sitting somewhere in the middle of the pack. Interestingly, the first matchup between these two ended 3:1 in favor of John Doe. Looking at the recent trends, both sides have found the back of the net in their last five outings, and those same five matches all saw three or more goals scored. It’s like clockwork. I'm leaning toward the home side bagging at least two, with the visitors grabbing one.
Good luck, everyone!

Chelsea vs. Atletico Madrid: Draw (2.05) (1-1)

I don't have any deep, tactical breakdown prepared for this one, truth be told. It looks like it's going to be a real grind—a tough, physical battle out there. My gut feeling? I expect things to finally start opening up during the second half.

I’m not going to bore you with some deep tactical breakdown here. It’s just going to be a gritty, hard-fought battle. My gut tells me things will finally break open in the second half.

Looking at this, I see a super aggressive Chelsea setup with basically only six guys playing defense, so my play is

Chelsea vs. Atletico draw + no goals scored from either side sits at about 7.3, while a 0-0 correct score is sitting at 6.0.

Ivanović over 3.5 yellow cards—he just finished serving his suspension for card accumulation, so he's itching to pick up another one.
Cahill over 4.5 yellows—he isn't facing any suspension threats, unlike Luiz, who is right on the edge. Honestly, I think Cahill might end up picking up a few fouls himself instead of letting Luiz take the heat.
Might even be worth looking at the overtime lines for yellow cards too.

New York Yankees 1 1,47 (1-2)
Super Bowl (Memphis)

"Making it to the finals is huge... we secured our spot in the Europa League, which was the big goal for this season," says the Kansas City coach, Radoslav Latal.
(Honestly, just getting this far is a massive win in itself)

Kansas City is looking pretty rough right now—it’s been a total disaster of a season for them—and they haven't even beaten the Yankees on their own turf since 2009. In the last 18 games, they've only managed one single win against the Yankees, and even that was just a lucky, tiny 1-0 nail-biter at home.
The Yankees cruised into this final by covering the spread in every single game they played to get here.
By the way, the Yankees basically already clinched Major League Baseball this season... I mean, it's not officially official yet because there are still 5 rounds left, but they're sitting 11 points ahead of second place with only 5 games to go. They're untouchable.

Word coming out of the Yankees camp is:
Under the bright sky:
Defending the double!

Seattle Sounders-Start 1 1,45 (2-0)

The Sounders are trailing the leaders, Godset, by just one point, and they are absolutely desperate not to repeat last year's heartbreak where they missed the title by a hair.
They started the season playing like absolute beasts, winning both of their opening matches against the spread.
Start got hammered by Stromsgodset 4:2, and honestly, I expect them to run into the exact same wall today playing in Seattle. This is gonna be a tough one.

Start is going to be without their striker Matthias Vilhjalmson, and Jorge A. C. Salazar is a huge question mark due to an injury—he hasn't even stepped on the field yet this season.
Plus, they'll be missing a key defender, Jesper Mathisen.

On the Seattle side, they won't have B. B. Sigudarson available in the attack.
Look, the Sounders have serious depth this year, they're playing lights out, and I truly believe they have that extra gear when they're playing in front of their home crowd. It feels like a home win for the better team is almost a given...
I'm expecting plenty of goals too, since the over is priced pretty low, but I'm just sticking with the straight win.

FC Barcelona to score at 1.60 (0-0)

Dallas Cowboys have to come out swinging from the jump—expecting plenty of room for those FC Barcelona attackers to run with.

Dallas Cowboys - FC Barcelona 1 (1.65) (0-0)

FC Barcelona is an incredible squad, no doubt about it, but the Dallas Cowboys just seem to have the edge here. Even though the Super Bowl isn't actually being played in Dallas, I’d still be hesitant to bet against them—I honestly can't tell if winning this trophy carries enough weight for the Cowboys to really go all out. But, since we are looking at a matchup centered in their own backyard, I suspect the motivation will be through the roof.

Matthew Taylor15 said:FC Barcelona scoring at 1.60 odds

The Dallas Cowboys have to come out swinging right from the whistle, so I'm expecting even more space for those FC Barcelona attackers to exploit...

Personally, I don't think they need to gamble everything. They can afford to sit tight and wait for the right moment since a 1-0 lead is plenty to move on, but I’m still calling for goals. Once that first one hits the net—hopefully in the first half—the whole game just opens up...
My exact score prediction: 2:1 @ 7.45 Vegas

Valencia - Sevilla over 2.5 total goals @ 1.95 Vegas (3-1)

Looking back at how the first leg played out, there could have easily been more than two goals in that mess...
I'm expecting an even wilder matchup this time because Valencia is forced to push forward, and Sevilla is lethal on the counterattack...

Valencia-Sevilla 3+ 1,70 (3-1)

Look, it’s not gonna be a walk in the park for the home side, but hey—scoring two goals to erase a deficit isn't exactly impossible... they've already proven they can pull stuff like that off before.
The home team is definitely gonna come out swinging right from the opening whistle, hunting for that early goal. And honestly? Once the game opens up because of one goal in either half, it becomes almost a certainty that more goals are coming down the pipe later on...
Sevilla is looking way sharper right now, seriously. They've got some lethal attackers who aren't gonna miss a single opportunity to exploit any mistakes or any desperation you see from the home team trying to make up for that first leg...

FC Amkar Perm-CSKA Moscow 2 1,50 (1-3)

With only three rounds left on the clock, CSKA is trailing the top two teams—but if they pull this off, they might actually turn that deficit into an advantage... maybe.
Lokomotiv is sitting in second place with a 3-point cushion, but they’ve got a massive hurdle this week playing against zenit.
CSKA kicks things off today in Perm, and honestly? Anything less than a win today means they can kiss the Champ. League goodbye. It's win or go home territory.
They've been absolutely tearing it up lately—ignoring that one weird cup match—with 7 wins under their belt. Plus, they’ve covered the handicap in their last three away games, so it's totally reasonable to expect them to keep that streak alive against Amkar today.
As for Amkar, they've only scraped 2 points from their last 5 matches (actually, looking back, they haven't won in 7!), and they're basically coasting now since they don't have any real ambitions left... they can't sink any lower, and they aren't exactly fighting to stay relevant. They've lost their last 3 at home, too.
It’s hard to believe a seasoned, high-quality squad like CSKA would just throw away crucial points here... I mean, come on.

Rayo Vallecano-Sevilla 3+ 1,60 (Rayo-Bilbao 0-3 🤷)

Looking at both sides, you could say they’ve pretty much accomplished whatever goals they set out for the season.
Rayo is comfortably in the upper half of the table, while Athletic is right in the mix fighting for Champions League qualification next year.
Rayo is showing up with a full roster, whereas nobody has really been able to outplay Athletic lately—it's almost impossible to stop them from finding the back of the net.🤣
The only catch is that Athletic will be missing Muniain, who's out after picking up his 5th yellow card.
Both teams play an aggressive, offensive style, and since there's zero pressure on them today, it’s perfectly realistic to expect plenty of goals... especially since they've both been scoring like crazy lately.
Both squads are coming off 5 straight "over" results, and their recent head-to-head matchups have been absolute goal fests:
2:1, 2:2, 1:2, 2:3.

Athletic Bilbao, not Sevilla :-)

So, Rayo's been crushing it with five straight home wins, which got me thinking about a draw, especially since I guess Bilbao needs at least three more points to lock in that Champions League spot if Sevilla ends up winning all three of their remaining games.
The odds on a 2 have dropped from 2.10 down to 1.90, and if that means anything to anyone, maybe people are betting on the underdog because of those few points Bilbao is chasing... but then again, Rayo can definitely score—they've found the net in 8 of their last 10, and scored more than once in 6 of those, so part of me thinks a 2:2 draw might be coming, though honestly, that feels a bit too risky for me to actually put money on, so yeah:

man I'm telling you Athletic (look at Sevilla😳)

Eindhoven-Sparta Rott. 1 1,75 (0-2)

Sparta might be heading to the playoffs just because they managed to scrape a win during one stretch, but let's be real—in every other department, they are nowhere near being a serious or ambitious squad...
Without a win, they're stuck in this massive slump—internal team drama, issues with the fans, and then you throw in their terrible financial situation on top of all that... it’s blindingly obvious this kind of team isn't seeing the top flight next season.

Eindhoven actually looked better during that away game in Rotterdam on Monday—if Nayib Lagouireh had converted that penalty, they would've walked away with the win instead of ending up 1:1.
And now Sparta is going to be shorthanded again, missing some massive pieces...

-their defenders Kaj Ramstijan (29/0) and Stef Peteers (16/2)
-forward Soufian EL Hassnaoui (23/3)
-and their top scorer, Johan Voskampa (23/12).

Eindhoven already crushed Sparta 4:0 back when they were playing at home (back on March 28, 2014).
It's a promotion match, and honestly, it looks like the guys from Eindhoven really want it 😕
(a 0:0 draw would send Eindhoven through, though I find it hard to believe we won't see any goals by the end of this...)
I'm putting a single on Eindhoven for a parlay ticket 😍

Hnk Rijeka-H.Dragovoljac (02.05. 18:00) 2 6,80 (3-1)

Pardubice(154,5)-Prostejov (02.05. 17:00) under 1,70 (132)

Looking at that first matchup, the odds have dropped from 8.45 down to where they sit now at 6.8... I'm thinking the main reason for that dip is because Kek mentioned he’s gonna rotate the squad and give some youngsters a shot—basically, seven of the starters are sitting this one out. Dragovoljac isn't playing poorly either, so honestly, I think this current price is way too generous and definitely worth a look... We're looking at Sharbini, Kramarić, Maleš, Knežević, Mitrović, Marić, and Alispahić all being out today. Mitrović is dealing with yellow card suspensions, while everyone else is just banged up with injuries. I mean, there's a tiny, tiny chance Kramarić or Sharbini might suit up, but knowing the team has that Cup final coming up later this week, it seems pretty unlikely that Kek would take any unnecessary risks...

As for that first game between Pardubice and Prostejov, they only hit 120 total points last time, and usually, these teams struggle to even break the 155 mark... I’m expecting another gritty, low-scoring grind today. I don't see much reason for the visitors to change their strategy after how effectively they stifled Pardubice last time—they held them to just 49 points, which made their own 71 more than enough to cruise through...

Zlatan Ibrahimović is sitting at +190 odds (San Francisco 49ers)

The guy’s been on fire lately—dropped 5 goals over his last 4 games... seriously impressive stuff.
-Since Lionel Messi isn't in the lineup, this dude is gonna be the absolute main threat for any home goal opportunities.
He’s taking shots from everywhere and handles penalties too... I'm not 100% sure if he's the designated spot-kicker or just steps up once in a while, but he's definitely on that list😕...

Look, when you're looking for someone to actually deliver some scoring tonight, this guy's gotta come through... should be able to make something happen.😁

"Locks" for tomorrow's action

Juve is looking solid—Latina is sitting at 1.15 odds for a 1-1 draw

Latina is fighting tooth and nail for that direct spot in Serie A, while Juve checked out a long time ago—plus, a 2-goal margin is pretty much a lock, so a draw is tough to see happening here

Everton vs. City—City is at 1.15 for a 2-3 scoreline
Everton is banged up and already lost their shot at the Champions League, whereas this is basically the championship game for City—if they pull this off, they’re 99% certain to take the title

Tranmere vs. Bradford—Tranmere at 1.15 for a 1-2 result
Tranmere hasn't found the back of the net in their last four matches! This is seriously their last ditch effort to stay relevant, especially since Bradford has zero motivation left

PSV vs. Breda—PSV at 1.15 for a 2-0 win
It's the final round, and PSV absolutely has to secure their spot in the Europa League

Dundee vs. Dumbarton—Dundee at 1.10 for a 2-1 win
Dundee really needs these points to seal their promotion to the top flight

Total sweep @ 1.92

Latina is fighting tooth and nail for that direct promotion to the top tier, whereas Juve checked out a while ago, and securing second place is pretty much a lock, so they might struggle to find motivation...

Everton vs. City, City at 1.15
Everton is feeling the sting of being weakened, especially after losing their Champions League push, while for City, this match is the absolute season-defining moment—if they pull this off, there's a 99% chance they take the title...

Tranmere vs. Bradford, Tranmere at 1.15
Tranmere hasn't found the back of the net in their last four outings, making this their absolute last gasp for survival, whereas Bradford just doesn't seem to have anything left to play for...

PSV vs. Breda, 1.15
It's the final round, and PSV absolutely has to secure their spot in the Europa League...

Dundee vs. Dumbarton, Dundee at 1.10
Dundee really needs these points to cement their promotion to the first division...

All-in @ 1.92

I'm mostly on board with your logic, but I have to wonder about that Tranmere pick... you're saying they haven't scored in their last four games, yet we're supposed to bet on them at 1.15? Surely there's a better pairing out there somewhere...🙄

And for the final round—man, they seriously need those three points! If they can actually pull it off and finally find the back of the net, they'll be back in the rankings. Can you imagine? It’s now or never!

You could swap it out for Leverkusen—they’re sitting at 1.10 and chasing that 4th place spot—or maybe Fognini at 1.25 in the semifinals against Struf. That looks like a pretty solid bet too, right? But honestly? I’m still leaning towards Tranmere. They just feel like the better play to me!

You’ve got some solid options in Major League Soccer tomorrow—expect goals, plenty of them... again.
Obviously, the odds for over 3.5 are trash, but if you just grab the first-half goals option at 1+, the odds are sitting around 1.20...

And don't even get me started on the 2+ option.

Ajax-NEC (1-0)
Rod sent over a thank-you note and a "cake" to New York City to celebrate the title, while basically praying Ajax wins their final match to help them out—since Rod actually has a better goal difference than NEC.

GA Eagles-Roda (0-1)
Rod is playing away in Deventer against GA Eagles, who are basically just trying to finish the season ahead of their local rivals Zwolle.

RKC Waalwijk-Heerenveen (0-1)

Heerenveen is going to come out swinging because they still have a tiny glimmer of hope to snag 4th place—it's a long shot, but hey, anything can happen. RKC is pretty much locked into that 3rd spot from the bottom, and since NEC is facing Ajax, Rod can't really threaten them... plus Breda, who'll likely slip up in Eindhoven, has a way better goal difference.
Even if RKC pulls off a win, it doesn't change much for their relegation battle, and losing by three or four goals won't hurt them either... their goal difference is so bad they're basically 99% guaranteed to finish 16th.

Utrecht-Vitesse (1-0)
Utrecht wants to wrap up their home season on a high note, while Vitesse is still hunting for that 4th place spot.
Both squads have enough firepower to turn this into a high-scoring affair.
The last six matchups at Galgenwaard have all ended with 3 or more goals.
I'm looking at goals in the first half—why not? If the result ends up going Vitesse's way, it'll probably be right at the kickoff; if PSV starts raining goals later, Vitesse might just sit back and let it happen.

PSV-NAC Breda (1-0)
PSV is gunning for direct entry into the EL, with Vitesse and Heerenv breathing down their necks. Breda just needs one point, or even a loss that doesn't turn into a total disaster with a 15-goal deficit.😂

Feyenoord is looking sharp, whereas AZ looks like they've already checked out mentally and are just waiting for the playoffs... for them, the season is basically over.

Sam Murphy said:I mostly agree with you, but I have to say—you’re telling me Tranmere hasn't found the back of the net in their last four matches, yet now we’re supposed to bet on them scoring at 1.15 odds? Honestly, I think there might be a better pick out there somewhere.🙄

Personally, when I see a team hitting a rough patch—say they’ve dropped five games in a row, or they’re stuck in a string of five straight draws, or even looking at Tranmere failing to find the back of the net for four matches straight—it just feels more logical to assume that streak is bound to snap. You know, by the law of averages. It stands to reason they won't just limp into a sixth loss, or settle for another draw, or have Tranmere go a fifth game without scoring. Yet, looking around here, it seems like quite a few of you think differently. There’s this mindset that if they’ve lost five times in a row, then a sixth one is practically guaranteed.
Look, streaks eventually have to break. From what I’ve managed to observe, it’s incredibly rare in any major league to see a team grind out six or seven draws in a row, or conversely, drop six or seven straight games—unless the club is in a state of total, absolute meltdown. But even then, it's unlikely. So, my little rule of thumb is this: if I spot a team sitting somewhere in the middle of the table or even slightly above, yet they're staring down a five-game losing streak, I’ll almost always place a bet that they won't lose their sixth. At that point, my only real dilemma is deciding whether to lean toward a draw or go for the outright win. Depending on how things look, I usually opt for the victory, and more often than not, it pays off. To give you a quick example, just a couple of rounds ago in France, Bordeaux had been stuck in a cycle of five consecutive draws. They were playing at home, and the sixth one didn't end up being a tie. Then last week, Galatasaray was playing away after a stretch without a win, and naturally, the streak snapped right then and there.
It all really boils down to the context of the matchup and who you're facing. Take the Premier League right now, for example—it looks like Newcastle is sitting on a six-game losing streak, but they’ve got a home game against Cardiff, who are currently dead last. If we weren't staring down the end of the season, I wouldn't give it a second thought; I'd bet on a clean win for Newcastle in a heartbeat. But since Cardiff still has a slim mathematical chance of avoiding relegation, it feels a little risky to me. That said, if I had to choose, I’d much rather bank on Newcastle avoiding a loss than betting against them. Then you look at the situation with Wisla in Poland; they’ve dropped five or six games in a row, and now they’re facing Pogon, who sits just two points above them. In my opinion, this is exactly the kind of spot where Wisla needs to finally snap that losing streak.
At the end of the day, there aren't really any hard and fast rules to follow here, but if you're asking me, I find myself leaning much more toward that particular tactic.

HSV-Bayern M. 2 1,43 -1 1,63 (1-4)

Look, let's be real here—HSV has been drowning since the very first whistle of the season, and honestly? They deserve every bit of this nightmare. They’re out there fighting tooth and nail just to stay afloat in the league standings, and frankly, it’s about time someone called it what it is... they've been struggling from day one, and now they're stuck in this desperate scrap just to avoid relegation. It’s a mess...
Stuck at the bottom of the barrel... honestly, these home teams are an absolute joke. They’ve got the worst defense in the entire league—just pathetic, really—and frankly, I’m starting to seriously question if they even belong in the playoffs at all...
Look, after that absolute disaster on Tuesday, there is zero chance Bayern is letting another embarrassment like that happen... seriously, they need to get their act together because if they don't, it’s going to be a long, painful season.🤣
Man, they’re absolutely tearing through everyone right now—six straight wins against HSV, and honestly? They’ve covered the spread in five of those last five games... absolute madness...
5:0, 3:1, 0:4, 9:2, 0:3.
What else am I supposed to expect? Honestly, just watching them concede a bunch of goals again from the worst defense in the BL... it's becoming a predictable disaster.

Freiburg-Schalke, over 2.5 goals at 1.60... they're already sitting at 0-2 and I’m telling you right now, this game is absolutely heating up—it’s bound to open up even more...

Man, Freiburg is on this absolutely insane scoring tear right now... honestly, it's getting ridiculous to watch.😲
Honestly, looking at the stats from the last five or six matches, we’re seeing some absolute goal fests in the BL—it's getting ridiculous... definitely led by Dortmund and Wolfburg, who just can't seem to stop finding the back of the net lately.
They are absolutely lethal when they’re playing at home—seriously, just terrifying right now. They've racked up four straight wins, and in every single one of those games, they managed to put at least two past the keeper... so now they're staring down Schalke, who are basically desperate for points if they want to stay relevant...
We aren't exactly going to miss the scoring here—just like how they didn't miss a single beat during those last three matchups over in Freiburg...
1:2, 2:1, and 1:2... just a total mess.
