Now you can actually give them a call to ask for a callback, too! Isn't that just a relief? 😍 ,
We’ve been waiting ten whole years for this moment, haven't we? It turns out that's exactly how long it's been since California and Cleveland last faced off in an official match.

Did I catch that correctly? Are you actually claiming that... Brady Did you really just say that? Honestly, that says so much about how much you actually know about this and whether you’re even qualified to be typing here in the first place, don't you think?
Honestly, I have to wonder how much someone needs to be hurting inside to brag about a mere rag, Picante? Seriously, what is that about? These excuses are just so incredibly mindless—a rag is a rag, after all, and calling it anything else feels like a massive insult to actual quality fabric.

Could mellowhawk34 please finally settle the score and explain exactly how Brady "fell" once and for all? I’ve been watching the last three pages fly by, and it seems like everyone is dodging that question out of pure embarrassment... though I suppose this post will probably just get ignored too, won't it?

How pathetic do you have to be to brag about some piece of cloth, Picante? Even our own excuses sound stupid. A rag is just a rag, and acting like otherwise is an insult to actual rags.

mellowhawk34, why don't you finally explain how Brady "fell apart"? I've been watching the last three pages and it looks like everyone's dodging the question out of pure embarrassment. I'm guessing this post will get ignored too.

And how qualified do you actually think you are? Get real.
You guys lost your minds yesterday when Brady got kicked out. She's been washed up for ages, but you were all too blind to see it, while the people actually in charge are just playing dumb. It’s clearly an inside job within the group—nobody's going to step up and take the blame.
Pike was pretty consistent at home, and I’m pretty sure he even snagged a few road wins before they brought in that rule about only using strikers.

Look, regarding Brady, someone from the Demon crowd basically waited until we were all caught up in the high of that last Cleveland-Browns match back in August—you know, with Sharvin and the whole crew—just to swoop in. They snatched Brady's banner right off the fence on the far right side by the north end, right near where the cops were stationed on those F-10 stairs. 🙄

They haven't shown their faces at Santa Monica all season to actually support their own team, but sure, they’ve got plenty of free time to wander over to our games just to look for something to steal...

Man, I thought you were being serious. What kind of conspiracy theories are you cooking up now? 🤣
Go ask the people who actually saw it fall—how it happened. The internet definitely isn't the place to be explaining stuff like that.

The small Armada Cleveland crew is more visible here, assuming that actually represents a "small strike force."🤦
In this shot, you have the Cleveland heavy hitters alongside that City flag (the one in Irriducibili's photo).

And why on earth were you carrying that Streetwise gear in San Diego? Isn't it true the police confiscated your third-tier banners when those Demons broke into the club headquarters? They eventually handed them back to the ultras, didn't they?

Same match, though the truth fell straight to the Demons.

Look, I’ve been sitting here staring at my screen, just boiling over, trying to figure out how we even got to this point. This whole epidemic situation? It’s absolute madness. Seriously, what are we actually doing? Are we all just collectively losing our minds, or is there some kind of twisted joke being played on us that I’m too dim to get? It feels like every single day there’s some new rule, some new panic, some new way for people to look at you sideways if you don't act exactly how they want you to. It’s exhausting. You can't catch a break without someone breathing down your neck about "safety" or whatever buzzword they're using this week to control the narrative. And don't even get me started on the sheer level of hysteria. You walk down the street and it's like everyone is living in a paranoid thriller movie. Does anyone actually feel safe? Because from where I’m sitting, everything feels more chaotic than ever. We're supposed to be fixing things, right? Instead, we're just spinning our wheels in the mud while the world burns around us. Is anyone else feeling this? Or am I just shouting into the void here? It feels like common sense went out the window somewhere along the line, and nobody's bothered to go looking for it. Just a complete and total mess. All I can do is vent, because honestly, what else is there to do?

Let me give you the actual truth for once! Now, I’m from Dren—not that it matters—and while I’m not active anymore, I was right in the thick of things back then, so I can lay this out without playing favorites. We’re talking about the 99/00 season, right after the Armada staged their protest in San Diego (they stormed the pitch and snatched some banners from the Demons—I think it was just a few small Demon banners and the Veruda crew... though someone will surely jump in to claim it was only Veruda since that's the only photo out there, but they actually took two banners). I can't recall if it was the very next match or a few weeks later, but the Demons head out in a van the night before a VC game. They stop at Santa Monica, break into the room where all the banners and flags are kept, and clean them out: Streetwise, Armada-Cleveland, the Handball Kickers (who got burned during the European Handball Championship in Cleveland), the US flag, the Kirac guys, and about 100 bar flags ready for the choreography against Dynamo. Streetwise actually returned them to the Ultras that same day, pleading with them not to display them at that specific match. Shortly after, there's another game in San Diego, California vs. Cleveland—I think it was a round-robin format back then, no playoffs. At the stadium, the Demons manage to flash the US flag, the Kirac banner, and the Handball banner, which gets torched. After that, the Armada (I won't name names, even though I know exactly who, to be precise) reaches the level of D. V.—the top guy in the Demons at the time—who, under pressure, decides to return the bar flags by bus, while swearing under oath that the cops seized those other banners at the game. And look, I’m not going to answer any questions; it’s not like I’m defending my old club since I’m no longer a member, but I have zero interest in any arguments. New Yorker himself (who wasn't involved, though I'm not sure if he was in the military at the time or what...) slammed the Demons' move back then, comparing it to how the Grobari pulled off similar banner thefts. I know a lot of you are going to attack me for this post, but I’d love to hear from New Yorker specifically—the guy who blasted the Demons' actions as a cowardly midnight theft. I’m genuinely curious what his take is now, ten years later; I recognized him in the photos in the corte, even with his face blurred. Again, this isn't hearsay passed down through four people; this is first-hand info. By the way, I met New Yorker back in the day, and I truly believe he’s the one who brought genuine innovation to the American supporter scene (small banners, bar flags...). It’s true that New Yorker used to give advice to certain guys in the Armada regarding the fences and such... A few more things to wrap up: it’s hilarious that someone from the Demons (now that the suits have taken their main banner) is claiming that this tacky little Armada-Cleveland banner belongs to them. Anyone following our scene knows that banner has absolutely nothing to do with them—let's be real. As for Picante, a banner is a banner, and the truth is being told here without any attempt to sugarcoat it. Not that I'm defending anyone, but let's be honest: those guys aren't Ultras, they're just amateurs. If they want to claim it was fair, they can—as someone once said, they were at the games, and a trophy is a trophy. Regarding Brady, I can't speak to that directly since I wasn't involved, but I'll offer my take: since the Armada doesn't bring their stuff to away games, everything stays at Santa Monica, including Brady's gear. My gut feeling? Someone from the Demons must have shown up to a derby at Santa Monica and swiped it. And the Demons are acting like they have no clue, but this isn't really "forum talk"—if you don't take gear to away games, it stays at Santa Monica, prepped in the box with everything else; it’s just an easy target. That’s just my opinion, not to say it's as airtight as the facts I laid out above! Cheers from sunny Dren!

It’s stupid to compare our hardcore crews to those regular types. Back then, you had groups of maybe ten guys with enough grit to actually be called a crew. Of course, as the scene evolved, people got smarter, so those numbers started dropping.
When I first heard the rumors about things being returned, I checked with D. V. directly. Ten different people can testify that he says nothing was ever given back. Sure, they were constantly calling his house and making threats—that part is true—but nothing was actually returned.
There were plenty of other people in the mix too. You really think they’d drive around with a hundred flags at a Streetwise show and nobody would notice?
They grabbed those few small signs specifically because the heavy-duty banners from the big crews were too much to carry. That’s how Streetwise and the Handball kickers ended up holding them by accident.

Your eyes must have popped out of your head yesterday when Brady got kicked out, right? Honestly, she’s been gone for ages, but you guys were totally clueless while the people actually in charge—the ones who know exactly what's happening—just play dumb. It’s clearly an inside job within your little circle where nobody is willing to step up and take the blame.

I have to say, you're doing a pretty clever job of playing the "neutral observer" to throw everyone off the scent, aren't you?👍
There was no way in hell Brady could have been ousted, because we all know you only bring the heavy-duty gear for away games... so, why don't you tell me more about that? ☕

Should we have just shut this whole group down after Pike went under? What do you think?

Pike used to show up quite regularly for home games, and if I recall correctly, he even made it to a few away matches before they started enforcing those strict rules about only bringing the main banners.

🤣 🤣 🤣
Why don't you go ahead and exaggerate his track record a bit more? It's not like it's a lie, right? 😁 😁 And are you seriously not even going to mention how you all heroically teamed up to take him down? 😁😁

Anyway, I honestly can't even bring myself to talk to fans who basically abandoned their own club when they fell from the third division just so they could roam around the MLS, not to mention how you swap out your main banners as often as most people change their socks. Does anyone actually have a spare copy of the main banner ready, just in case this one falls apart again?

I know exactly who you think you contacted, but those people belong to a completely different generation that has nothing to do with us... whether anything was actually returned is something I won't bother debating, though I might try to bring a New Yorker over here just so he can give you his take on the matter. Personally, this whole business of seizing banners isn't particularly interesting to me, but apparently, it’s become quite the trend lately. The reality is that even you guys didn't know where Brady was located until Thursday, and you certainly weren't expecting him at our fence... and as for the theft of banners, are we really pretending you never did that? It’s pointless to even mention how much you used to brag about having the edge... back during that game in San Diego when you stormed the field, I recall two banners were taken, but most of us were only about thirteen years old then, and compared to today, the 92 crowd was just a bunch of nobodies who couldn't even manage half of an away trip in a season. Go ahead and call us now; I'll happily provide my phone number and home address so you can come collect the banners yourselves... if you had managed to snatch a banner from us that we didn't even know was stored safely, we would have eventually made our way back into town. But for a group as "strong and proud" as your Armada, I suppose such a thing would be beneath your dignity. All these arguments are utterly useless, and honestly, it would be best to just shut down this pathetic forum; you'll have plenty of chances to settle other scores later, but until then, stop talking trash because you were worse than us in both Cleveland and San Diego...

Pike was taken without any fight 31 miles by the San Diego crew, and Brady fell too—it wasn't stolen. If you want to know about that, go ask the people who actually lost it; you won't find the truth on the internet.
jadestag20, you guys are never gonna grab a single one of our banners, especially not the main ones, so quit stressing over stupid stuff.
Don't jump down my throat immediately. I'm talking about the era right after Isre dropped out of the top tier back in MLS 2000, when this generation really took charge in the Demon. From the very first clash —you know, that massive showdown—all the way through the Walmart and Monte-Zara incidents , there isn't a single moment where you can claim you beat us in a fight. jadestag20, one more time... and don't get worked up for no reason...

They grabbed those few small signs specifically because the massive banners from the big crews were too heavy to lug around—so, by pure chance, both Streetwise and the Handball kickers ended up holding them.

Feel free to ask the New Yorker about those thirty flags whenever you're "alone." I wouldn't be typing this if I weren't certain—this isn't hearsay, it's firsthand knowledge. You'll see! And look, without trying to start a fight, just give me your take on what I wrote about Brady (I'm not claiming it's absolute gospel, but there's a massive "BUT..." involved)—since the banner wasn't used for away games, and they don't even bring it out of Santa Monica because it stays put there.

We should probably just ask the New Yorker, since he’s actually an honest guy...😁 Brady was your standard banner back in the day, yet now you're all trying to act like it was some useless rag, though you sure acted like cowards when it was taken away. If you were half as tough as you pretend to be here, both that and the other banners would have been back in your hands by now; but since you weren't capable of reclaiming your own property given how things were going with the Demons at the time, every comment made here is just completely pointless...

New Yorker😁 was right there with me on the bus heading to ST when this whole thing resurfaced. People who were actually there—the ones who supposedly grabbed those flags—are saying nothing was ever returned. They didn't even take them in the first place, mark my words. So there was no "returning" them because they never had them. Unless ten different people in that van are all lying at once.
Z😁 wasn't part of the action, but he definitely knows what went down.
And there was someone else on that bus, one of those guys you called at home and threatened back when Forza Fiume vanished, thinking we had their stuff too.😍
The bottom line is the people involved are saying nothing was returned.

I honestly don't even know where to start with this one, it’s just one of those days where everything feels slightly off-kilter, you know? I was sitting there, just staring at the screen, thinking about how much noise people make about absolutely nothing, and then I saw this. It’s like when you’re stuck in traffic on the I-95 and everyone is honking their horns like that’s actually going to move the cars forward—it’s just senseless, really. Just a lot of empty air being moved around. I feel like we spend so much time reacting to things that don't even matter, chasing these little flashes of excitement or outrage, while the actual substance just slips right through our fingers. It’s exhausting, honestly. I remember back when I used to work near Grand Central, just watching the crowds flow in and out, and everyone seemed to be in such a desperate rush to get to a destination that didn't even exist. We're all doing that now. We're rushing toward nothing, making a massive scene about it, and expecting someone to give us a trophy for the effort. It’s just... yeah. Anyway, what was I saying? Right. It's all just noise. says:
Seriously, what's your damn problem?

What on earth are you blathering about? Seriously, what kind of "serious fights" are you even talking about? You guys were nowhere to be seen in Miami throughout the entire nineties, and then when you finally decided to show up in '98, we absolutely tore you apart down south near the stadium—it was like watching autumn leaves get stripped off trees in the suburbs. Back then, you had us dragged through the courts, filing police reports over stolen beers, wallets, combs, cash, sneakers, scarves, banners, and God knows what else... at least until someone made a few phone calls to the right people. On our side, it was just six or seven guys, while you had ten of you just busy filing complaints with the cops. We even snatched that massive half-kilometer American flag from your Armada Pečina, which was your big pride and joy back when you’d show up for national games or those rare trips where you actually managed to muster more than fifty people. When we headed down to San Diego, we were basically just going there to collect your discarded scarves. Honestly, you looked like a bunch of ragtag losers on the street, totally disheveled and filthy. All you were missing were umbrellas over your shoulders so you could belt out that song about fixing umbrellas and sharpening knives.

How many times would you guys end up getting jumped on a Train, forced to barricade yourselves inside the cars, only to reach Grand Central Terminal begging for police protection before your connection to Cleveland even pulls in?

You can tell your kids all you want about how much respect the Armada commanded back in the nineties, but honestly, it’s all just nostalgia talking. If you really want to prove how "formidable" they were, go ahead and dig out those old photos—you know, the ones showing those hideous, amateurish banners with the insults toward Rab, Umag, and the Shmokljani crowd, or those shots of the Deletovci fans. It’s almost funny when you remember the reality of it. We weren't some organized powerhouse; we were just a group of guys buying cheap gear from local supporters while we were busy cutting checks on our way back from trips to see Fiorentin. It wasn't exactly high-level organization, just us drifting along.

Good grief, I honestly can't tell who I'm even responding to anymore... 🙄

Look, since I was actually right there in the middle of all that chaos, I know you're just talking out of your ass. That first crew led by Cecci? They never once caught hands from any of you guys. Back then, we used to just laugh at your lot like you were nothing. In Cleveland, after every single game, we’d end up hauling away so many Chiefs scarves, banners, and flags that we honestly didn't even know where we were going to store the damn things.

Listen, I’m going to say this once and I’m going to say it clearly: all that talk about our guys getting beaten down in San Diego is nothing but a flat-out lie. Honestly, it's just more of the same nonsense you hear from people who weren't even there, just spinning stories to stir the pot. It's exhausting, really.Look, if you actually look at the numbers, the Cleveland-Browns only played down in San Diego twice during that entire four-year stretch when Cecci was running the Armada from 1996 to 2000. It’s pretty simple math, really. Back in the 1996/97 season, there were maybe 60 people showing up in San Diego and everything was perfectly chill—zero chaos. Then, fast forward to the 1998/99 season, we had about 200 people making the trip to San Diego and, surprisingly, there wasn't any trouble either. It just goes to show how much people exaggerate things.

There was this younger crowd back then that I used to travel with for away games, and honestly, they took quite a beating from you guys a few times over those five years, but we’re talking about kids here—mostly just teenagers between 14 and 18. One of them, Brady, was the most well-known of the bunch, though he eventually ended up joining a commune after things went south.

It honestly gets under my skin when people claim we didn't show up in Miami. Like, seriously? Ever since Cecci took over the Armada back in the day, specifically during that whole 1996 to 2000 stretch, we were there every single time. I remember being there through thick and thin, so don't try to tell me otherwise.

Back in '96, I remember watching that Cleveland-Browns match—it ended 1-0. Just one of those gritty, old-school games that stays with you. 200 People... honestly, I don't know where we're headed. Sometimes I just sit here, staring at the screen, wondering about the state of everything. It feels like everyone is just drifting, you know? Just floating through life without a clear sense of direction, much like how I felt back when I was stuck in that tiny apartment in Chicago before things finally started moving. You look around and you see people acting like they have all the answers, but most of them are just making it up as they go along, just like the rest of us. It’s exhausting, really. One minute you think you’ve got a handle on things, and the next, everything just shifts again. Anyway, I guess I'm just rambling now. What's on your minds?

Back in '97, I remember watching that Cleveland-Browns match—it ended 2:1. 100 Listen, everyone, let's just take a second to give credit where credit is due—a massive round of applause, seriously.

Back in '98, I remember sitting there watching that Cleveland-Browns matchup—it ended 3 to 1. 250 Listen, people...

Back in 1999, I remember sitting there watching that Cleveland-Browns match, and man, it was a total disaster for the Chiefs. They just couldn't find any rhythm, ending up with a 1-3 loss. It’s one of those games that sticks in your mind because you could just feel the momentum slipping away from them right from the start. 1 000 Hey everyone.

Back in '99, during that Chiefs vs. Browns match, the score ended up 3 to 2. I remember this one group of five guys—just five people—who ended up walking the whole way there on foot because the train, which was packed with about 200 people, got completely stalled by a massive snowstorm. It’s funny how things work out sometimes, you know? You're sitting there waiting for the tracks to clear, and instead, a handful of folks just decide to brave the elements and trek through the snow just to make the kickoff.

Looking back at all those seasons since the 98/99 era, Cleveland honestly played pretty lousy football, so when you actually sit down and look at the raw numbers, they’re surprisingly solid considering how much we struggled on the pitch.

Alright, let's shut down this insane debate once and for all. We sat around, had a little meeting the other night, and decided we aren't nuking the group just yet. So, naturally, we headed out to catch some hoops yesterday... 😁

Cleveland-Browns vs. San Diego, 69:63. We were 100% there, so if anyone actually gives a damn about the atmosphere...
