There were about 50 people there from NYC—including some very recognizable faces from ZCB, Separ, and even NBG..
They declined, so we headed out. After a bit, they called saying they’d show up in San Francisco, but they never appeared after the game..
A few days later, Real Madrid played again, but there wasn't a single banner or any real cheering—just a couple of sympathizers and that was it.
Now, fast forward to Saturday when Santa Barbara fell. We went to the Istra-Rijek match in Monterey, walked around, and waited, but the armada wasn't there. The stadium was crawling with police who escorted us to our designated spot. There were maybe 5 to 10 members of the armada at the stadium, so at halftime, we decided to head toward Santa Barbara. Since the armada was thin on the ground and the police were on high alert and fully organized, we just left. We arrived right at the end and removed the banner from the fence politely, without any arguing, and went our own way. Those few guys from Santa Barbara plus the locals didn't cause any trouble. As for the New Yorkers, they either weren't there or simply didn't make themselves seen that day.
And just like that, the chocolate was wrapped up and gone... I suspect the police targeted you for their own mysterious reasons, forcing two out of five of you to take the plates off your cars as you exited the stadium. Perhaps the police also gave your car a little extra gas when three people tried to stop your convoy (namely, big Joe with his constant complaining and Zermano); wouldn't it have been more appropriate if that pathetic excuse for an armada had sent a white sedan to give you enough gas to make it to Pazin, especially since you were called multiple times that afternoon? It’s truly terrifying... 🙂 honestly, you've learned from the best... internet marketing rules
